Sitting together where lanthim had left them both melryn and aldain had spent almost two days in meditation. Having the seals which kept them from being able to use mana removed they had been instructed to meditate for a time. It had been a frightening experience for the both of them. To suddenly be thrust into the world of magic without understanding anything.
Melryn had asked lanthim to remove his seals. Even with the skills he had, there was still a feeling of insignificance. The endless feeling that no matter how much stronger he was than every other male in the academy. He was in the end still a male and useful only in war and reproduction.
Aldain, however, sought something completely different. Having watched his elder brothers, he realised that it was in the acquisition of knowledge that true power reigned supreme. That being said one could only come to a knowledge of something if they had in some way experienced it.
Regardless of their purposes, both remained still concentrating on the flow of mana. Until now they had only known the existence of the mana inside of them would never be theirs to use. Reminded constantly of the duty they had to the clan having been born with exceptionally pure mana.

Melryn felt with all his being the endless flow of mana. At first, it's presence was too strange. Almost as if it had been placed inside him and would eventually disappear. Taking in a deep breath, he could feel the an endless calm come over him. Sensing the same from his brother melryn smiled.
"I think we have gone for long enough don't you aldain?" [Melryn]
Opening their eyes, both brothers looked to each other. Melryn already smiling ear to ear with aldain chuckling to himself.
"I agree brother see as we have been here for over a day and there is a party we are late for." [Aldain]
Looking at melryn who had a blank expression on his face almost as if he had forgot something.
"Oh crap the party is tonight Yetolis will kill me if I am not there." [Melryn]
Yetolis vaijra a seventeen-year-old witch that had requested he take the place of her injured partner. That being so she demanded his complete obedience throughout their training together up to this point. Being the daughter of a lesser clan that didn't quite have the standing of the six great clans. Having melryn as her partner was more an attempt to raise her station in the academy.
"That should not be a problem everthing has been prepared by our master."
Shocked by the sudden realization of someone else present in the room both boys looked about trying to find the owner of the voice. Having not come fully to grips with how their new powers they could not sense anything.
"Something you will learn in time young one is that when you are strong enough. You can stand directly in front of someone and they would never know you were there."
Looking towards the door, both brothers saw a woman remove a strange cloak. Amazed by what they had just seen both jumped from where they were sitting.
"How did you do that I have never heard of such magic before." [Aldain]
Unable to contain his excitement the younger of the two brothers almost yelled his question.
"The cloak is enchanted so to allow me to move from place to place as I wish. There are those who can do the same thing without the use of such enchantments, however."
As aldain still in awe of what he had seen melryn seemed more reserved. Being around magic more then his brother melryn know that magic could take many forms.
"You said that our brother had made preparations what exactly? [Melryn]
"A change of clothes for the party. I will also be providing you with a portal for travel."
Pointing to the table on the other side of the room both were shocked by what they saw.
"I have never seen such fine clothing yes father has provided clothes that suited our station but what a statement these will make ." [Melryn]
Looking at every article that had been prepared in truth what they would be wearing was not much different than what the school uniforms looked like. Being made of the best fabric, there was, however, something that melryn noticed.
"There must be some other meaning to us wearing these since you have the same clothing." [Melryn]
"You are correct these are the uniforms worn by the students of our master. While we do not wear them always at a time such as this showing the power of our master is a duty we bear."

Melryn understood what this woman was saying. By showing that, he was a subordinate to his brother the power balance would begin to shift in lanthim's favour. Having many of the male members of the clan under his control, lanthim could effectively define the parameters of any marriage.
Dressing quickly, they found that everything was made to their exact measurements.
"Well, you can leave it to brother he always seems to be prepared for an occasion." [Aldain]
"Yeah and everything fits so perfectly." [Melryn]
Finishing up with the final touches they moved out from behind the dressing curtain.
"Very good! master will be most pleased."
Looking at them the woman had not moved from where she had originally appeared. With what seemed to be a smile she raised her left hand. As she did so a portal opened. Unlike lanthim who entered directly into the hall, both brothers would have to use the main entrance.
"Well, we had better get going." [Aldain]
"I agree however I will ask one thing before we leave. Miss, may I ask your name?" Melryn
Turning to the woman before leaving melryn desired to know who she was.
"My name is Isaetal Hidmetryl you may ask more of me another time." [Isaetal]
Smiling towards him as melryn left the portal closed leaving isaetal alone.
Sitting with eldra at one of the many tables that were placed on the periphery of the hall lanthim was enjoying the company of his old foe. Having met each other twice in battle both had a respect for the other not only as combatants but as men in general.
"There is talk that the residence you built is quite the monster I will have to visit sometime and see it for myself." [Eldra]
"I would not mind having you come however try not to arrive unannounced. I have a great deal of work that requires my attention when I am home." [Lanthim]
Having not only his own training that required a great deal of dedication Lanthim had put a large portion of his time into training others what he had learned.
"Is that so then I will have the necessary arrangements be made quickly don't want to crowd your living space when there are young children about." [Eldra]
Smiling mischievously, eldra was eluding to something that was currently not that far from lanthim's mind.
"It is said that humans and dragons have always had trouble conceiving it took mynrea forty years to have a child with my father." [Lanthim]
"This is true but there was never a being as powerful as you not to mention mother has said that there are rooms built in the residence that have large amounts of natural mana within them. You use these rooms for meditation I hear." [Eldra]
Both men looked at each other with growing intensity. Eldra's interest was natural Lanthim was married to his daughter and the eventuality of children would always arouse interest.
"They are made for training however I will not say that there are not other uses." [Lanthim]
Turning away from his smiling father-in-law lanthim could see leinea talking with one of her classmates. She looked beautiful in the red dress she had selected. Having the ability to provider her with any choice she desired lanthim was pleased to see her smiling.
"Frelimta and syrelia seem to be getting along well." [Eldra]
Nodding towards the young couple as they danced together it seemed that it was a good match.
"He is only two years older correct?" [Lanthim]
"Yes, I see no issue waiting for her to come of age before she is brought to the dragon lands." [Eldra]
It was inevitable that syrelia would have to leave all she knew for the comfort of her husband's home.
"This tournament will surely be an interesting one I hope that we will have a good show." [Lanthim]
Looking to the entrance, lanthim saw two individuals that he had been waiting for arrive. Looking very intimidating in their dress both melryn and aldain entered looking confident.
"Ah, your brothers have come good." [Eldra]
Lanthim had a cruel smile on his face which eldra emulated. Just by sensing the both of them they could tell that these two young men were prepared to do anything no matter the cost.
"The last time I sensed something like this I was on my knees with my left arm on the ground in front of me." [Eldra]
