Choice Results are at the bottom of the page. Goodluck!

Daedalus his face drawn with exhaustion, slumped down beside you, both of his arms blackened with dozens of scorch marks upon his flesh. The wizened orc letting out a light chuckle as he stood back up with a smile on his lips. "Ahhh how I've missed the rush of battle and thrill of danger.

"I know you have many questions my friend but we will have to forego them for now, Tyrene has grown considerably more powerful than the last time we've met, and it won't be long before she returns you to the flesh. Be sure tell her nothing. She may torture you for awhile but she'll soon grow tired of it and leave you to her underlings which is when you should strike."The flesh on his arms gradually began return to their odd shade of red, his skin knitting itself back up.

And while a part of you is amazed at seeing Daedalus and finding out he was an orc of all things, you are more annoyed by the fact that he has stopped calling you master. After all, you'd becoming used to hearing it from him and it did have a certain ring to you. Plus it also makes you wonder what it could mean for the future of your partnership? But instead of saying what was on your mind, you ask, "How is it you are here with me?"

Daedalus grinned. "We are bonded you and I, both in spirit and body. Still it seems quite remarkable that I would retain my body here of all places. Not that there is anything wrong with your mind per say but it usually takes a degree of skill to enter another person's mind and we've done it effortlessly as though we were joined for a millennia. I believe this bond will serve us well, very well indeed." And for a brief second you could have sworn you'd seen a gleam of hunger flash across his face that instantly makes you wary.

Brows furrowed, you open your mouth to ask him more about the bond when you notice the air shimmer, the fabric of darkness becoming almost tangible like spilled oil before slowly dissipating away with Daedalus crying out something to you before the orc fluctuates and vanishes completely.

Then as suddenly as it all began you are back in the cold dark room with the mage staring daggers down at you, her eyes filled with fury as she shrieked, "How did you break free?! Tell me?! Who helped you?!"

But whatever you were about to say is lost in a wave of agony as fiery hot acid courses through your veins causing you to jerk back and forth against the stone chair. Drool dribbling out from between your lips, and corroded black blood trickling out from your skin, the fire burning deep within you. (-40 Health points.)

Teeth clenched, you try to not scream but it was all you could do to keep your mouth shut and when she saw that was not enough, a flame whip materialised in her hands, forcing you to groan in despair as she lashed it against your skin, each time asking you a different question before cracking the whip forward to melt your flesh, the sizzling hot flames biting deep. "I know you had help?! Who was it?! Where are your friends?! Where are they hiding?!"

Protected by the rage that warms your belly, you ignore the pain thundering down upon you, your mind filled with promises of retribution. While your mind takes note of the way your kin would stand watch by the doorway looking away in distaste, his thick eyebrows furrowed into a frown as he stared off into the distance. And despite your fury at your brethren's willingness to obey the mage, you could only feel pity for this once proud warrior.

It was not so long ago when you had been the same way, raised and treated as a slave for most of your life, you'd only discovered freedom in a rare act of kindness from passing fae'lon that had swept through the mage's camp, freeing you. And even then you did not understand what freedom truly was.

Face stiffening into a mask of determination, you proudly lift your chin and straighten your shoulders as the mage does what she wishes to your body, until finally she growls something at you in a language you can't understand and storms out of the room in a huff, leaving you alone with him.

The ogrekan bowed his head in shame, looking at you with eyes that have seen much heartach. "Why do you still fight? She would have let you live if you had told her what she wanted."

You smile back, the blood cracking on your cheek. "As a slave perhaps, but never free."

The ogrekan stares at you hard as if unable to believe someone would be willing to endure so much, just to remain free, before moving forward break you free from the stone.

You quickly move towards the doorway and stop when you see that he does not follow. The ogrekan standing motionless in the center of the room. "I, I cannot leave this place. The mages have bound by soul to the darkness, but if you should ever return to our homeland, tell my young ones that I will return one day."

"What is your name?"

The ogrekan thought hard as though trying to recall something long since lost to him, before replying, "I am Kaldrakas."
