Note to Readers: I had initially planned to end the book here and finish with an epilogue but thought I would try something new. Let me know what you think?
Kahloon Campaign
With over eight thousand warriors under his command, most of whom are ogrekans without any real military training, Drakas needed to reclaim his homeland with as few casualties as possible. But first he needed to understand his own forces and that of his enemies.
Current Battlefield Roster
- Goblinoid Troops (800)
Quick, agile, and deployed as forward scouts as well as skirmishers, goblinoids can harass an enemy army, arrive quickly on the battlefield to secure a location, but they cannot be depended upon to hold a position.
- Demon Blades (1000)
Elite orcish warriors enslaved from birth, Demon Blades are equipped with the best weaponry, and trained in the arts of war, they are the vanguard for all dark one armies, and can be used as shock troops to break up enemy formations. However their numbers are quite limited.
- Blue Skin Giants (500)
Much smaller than their regular sized cousins the Gilgathan Giants, Blue Skins can be used to unleash a devastating barrage of missiles that can soften up targets, weaken enemy defenses, and break through walls. While they can be used for close quarters combat to break an enemy line, they prefer to crush their opponents from a distance with boulders. Their numbers too are limited.
- Battlekans (2,000)
Enslaved at a young age as well, Battlekans have a natural tolerance for the cold, and a tough outer carapace. They are also some of the toughest fighters in the world.
They can be used to hold locations, assault enemy positions, and employ guerrilla tactics when deemed necessary.
- Ogrekans (3,500)
Known as ogres as well, Ogrekans are a race of warriors that have learned to fight from a young age. Having a natural tolerance for the cold and a tough outer carapace, they are mostly made up of hunters and tribal warriors, and make up the bulk of Drakas’ army. They can be used to hold certain locations, although they may not be relied upon to withstand a constant assault.

- Wyverns (200)
Descendants of dragons, wyverns are much smaller agile form of dragonkind that can scout enemy positions from the sky, offer protection against winged demons such as Imps, and if necessary can be put to use bombarding enemy positions with fireballs. Their numbers are few, but their ferocity in battle makes them Drakas’ best weapon.
What is known of the Dark Ones Forces in Kahloon.
From what Drakas has gathered from his field reports, the majority of the Dark Mage armies have been assembled together at the heart of the Kahloon with five black towers united into one immense structure. They are also under the command of two powerful Magelords, Lord Shadowsmere, who is reported to have thousands of undead under his command, and controls the West. And Lady Arcania, who is said to be a powerful sorceress able to commune with the demons and controls the East. Both will need to be eliminated if Drakas has to have any hope of liberating Kahloon.
Additionally with Gateways to the Underworld open, Drakas will need to anticipate encounters with demons, and will have to assume that any scouting reports cannot be wholly trusted.
What is Known of the Demons.
Unfortunately nothing is truly known about this new enemy, besides the fact that they are monsters, summoned from the Underworld to act as agents of chaos and destruction. They come in many forms with a variety of different abilities, powers, and strengths. Do not treat them lightly.
What is known of the three main targets.
Internment Camps (Twenty currently in operation.)
The slave internment camps are where the dark ones breed goblins, train new captured slaves, and hold prisoners of war. If an assault should prove successful in capturing one of these, Drakas will have added new allies in his war against the dark ones.
Black Towers (Fifty towers Located.)
Black towers or as the Dark Ones refer to them, Towers of Abbaddon, house the majority of the dark one's own forces, and can be used to transport enemy armies across the battlefield. It is also where the Dark Mages live, eat, and plan. These are not only heavily guarded, but heavily enchanted. In order to succeed against them, Drakas will first need to first defeat them in battle and release the spell that binds them.
Demon Gates (Ten Gateways Open.)
While there are few gateways open at the moment, more open and close each day, releasing a stream of monsters to lay waste to the world. If Drakas wishes to close them, he will need to gain the Will Of Sezarath. (To gain Will Points, complete conquests, seize territory, and eliminate enemies.)
Starting Will Points: 0
What aid can Drakas hope to receive from Drakkarl, Scourge of the South.
If necessary, Drakas can commune with the dragon through Harl’s Bane. The weapon is a conduit to the dragon, and if called upon, he can savage an enemy army with a plethora of spells. (He can only be called upon three times.)
