Welcome to New York
As I read the sign as I stepped out of the plane, a smile appeared on my face. Finally, I was in New York.
'Ugh, flying on a plane is miles below flying by myself. But it did give me a chance to communicate with the plane. Never pass up an opportunity to expand my knowledge bank.' I thought as I made my way to pick up my bag.
After getting my checked bag, I headed to get a taxi into the city.
"Where to kid?" said the driver.
"Four-Seasons Hotel Downtown, please."
"PHWEEE fancy hotel, kid. You sure that's the right place?"
"I'm sure."
"Alright, we'll be there in a jiff."

After giving the driver double the fare, and checking in to my room, I was now standing in front of the windows looking at the view. And let me tell you it was kind of breathtaking. Not in the same way flying in the clouds is breathtaking. No, breathtaking in the sense that the entire city is a man-made marvel.
Of course, there was sure to be better views in a hotel this fancy, but I didn't want to spend that much money. I paid for a week, and that set me back about 10,000. I can't imagine what the penthouse would cost for a week. Looking at the city, I began to go over what happened before I arrived.
It's been a little over a week since I told Steve and Andrew I was going to be traveling the world. During that week I spent as much time as possible with my family and friends. We even had a going away party the day before I was set to leave. And the day I did leave, was very emotional for my mom. Understandably so, of course.
Anyways I had taken the time to mull over where I was going to go first, and I decided to go to New York before anywhere else. After all, I probably have the best chance of recognizing people from other worlds there. And I've also always wanted to visit New York.
In terms of the group chat, not much has happened yet. We all talk at least once a day and discuss what's going on in our respective worlds. Once a day for me anyways, turns out there's a time dilation difference between our worlds with Guts being the fastest out of all of us. Which makes sense considering his story doesn't start for a few more years.

The day everyone read their own story was probably the most chaotic. Especially for Guts and Ciri, considering their story is pretty heavy for both of them.
Guts again thanked me for helping him before being r***d and he vowed to kill Griffith as soon as he met him. In the case of Gambino, he said he'll take a wait-and-see approach before deciding anything. He said he is scared of what may happen to his life and to his world, but he will train harder to make sure he's ready.
Ciri on the other hand was freaking out about the future and what happens to her adoptive father and mother. She wanted to rush out and find Geralt to save him from the Wild Hunt, but we were able to calm her before she got reckless. We told her she knows what's going to happen in the future, so it's better to make a solid plan and then act. Reluctantly, she took our advice.
Uzui was happy to know Muzan dies in the end but sad to realize all his fellow pillars die. He said he would pass on Ripple to them earlier than expected to save more lives. He also shared the Breathing Technique with the group, but I haven't had the opportunity to train it. Guts and Ciri both have started to train with it, while Yoruichi and Amelia didn't really see a need for it.
Yoruichi was intrigued by the future of her world and started to train her Six-Eyes in preparation for the future. Amelia's life is probably the one that was least disturbed seeing as her world's future is unknown but she's excited for the first mission.
Speaking of which, I'm surprised it hasn't given a mission as of yet, and when asked the DGC doesn't answer. I also forgot to mention the daily points I get, which I haven't been the luckiest with. On average I get 60ish points. I've accumulated 550 so far, but there haven't been any items that have intrigued me so I'm saving them for now.
RING RING
My phone ringing snapped me out of my reminiscence and when I checked who it was I realized it was an unknown number. Deciding to pick it up anyways, I answered.
"Hello."
"Good morning, is this Dr. Garetty?"
"This is he."
"I'm calling on behalf of the annual New York Medical Conference taking place tomorrow. I'm calling to ask if you would like to attend?"
'Medical conference huh? What are the chances the week I come, it's going to happen? Might as well go, not like I have anything urgent to do right now.'
"I'd love to."
"Fantastic. Will you be needing any accommodations Dr. Garetty?"
"No, I'm fine thank you."
"Very well, all the information will be emailed to you. We look forward to seeing you, doctor."
"Great, thank you very much."
Hanging up the phone, I went to go sit down on the couch and watch some TV.
"Let's see what this world's tv is like. I hope it's entertaining."
As I sat there scrolling past the channels, my thoughts began to wander.
'Medical conference tomorrow means I get to meet some of the greatest doctors in the world hopefully. Not to mention see some interesting medical devices. But, I think for today I'll just wander around the city and see if anything catches my eye.'
Finally landing on a channel that looked entertaining, it went to commercial.
"Come on. I hate com-"
"Goliath National Bank, member FDIC."
