After finishing up in the bathroom, I quickly cleaned up so as not to leave too much of a mess. Changing into one of the outfits I had brought, a pair of jeans and a black t-shirt, I realized I had close to no sense of style.
'Jeans and a black tee. A classic and clean look I will admit, but I really need to get some better clothes.'
Leaving the bathroom, I entered the bedroom to see Ciri fumbling with the remote control to the television.
"Need some help with that?" I asked while putting away my suit in my inventory.
"What? No. I've done this before but that world was a little different from yours. This damn thing just won't turn on." she said pressing all the buttons on the remote except the right one.
"You've been to a world like mine? When?" I asked, curious if she was talking about Cyberpunk since she mentions it in the game.
"When I first dropped Geralt and Yennefer off at the safe space. I was jumping one day and I accidentally overdid it and ended up in a world similar to yours but more advanced I believe. A lot of the men and women there had metal body parts.
I hung around there for a little bit before I had to leave because of the Wild Hunt. I was able to use a television but it was different than the one you have." she explained, confirming my theory about it being Cyberpunk.
'So she did go to Cyberpunk. I'll have to ask her to take me one day. The technology available for me to learn is too valuable an opportunity to pass up. Cybernetic limbs, artificial intelligence, robots, drones, and so much more. Yes, and the power level of the world isn't a problem for me. It's a good first step for starting my future company. SAO isn't a bad option either with its Full Dive technology.'
"Sounds interesting. Here, give it to me." I said before putting my hand out for the remote which she reluctantly gave to me.
"Like this." I said showing which button to press and how to navigate the television before handing her the remote.
"Thanks."
"No problem, but before you get too comfy, have you bought the [ID] yet?"
"Yeah, it was only 100 points surprisingly. I thought it would be more expensive."
"Well it is only a basic ID, if they were to run it through the system, besides your picture and fake information created by the DGC, nothing else would show up. But we'll cross that bridge when we get there, if at all." I explained to her only to see her with a confused expression.
"Ah, I forget you're not used to modern times yet, sorry. Just don't worry about it for now."
"Got it."
"Why don't you clean up first before we introduce you to the world as it were. And you should buy some clothes from the shop, you'll stand out with what you're wearing." I said looking at her outfit. It was her signature look, a white tunic with pouches across her stomach and leather pants with calf-high boots, and a sword that is usually strapped to her back but is now resting against the wall.
"You're making me use my points for useless things you know?" she said a little peeved at using her points.

"You'll get them back in the daily check-in anyways. Besides, if you want we can go shopping for clothes later. I need to buy some stuff too." I said before sitting down on the couch to watch television.
"Shopping, eh? Very well, I'll take you up on that offer." she said but unbeknownst to me, she had an evil smile on her face.
"Do you know how to use the shower?" I asked forgetting she was from a different time than me, again.
"I'm not a complete idiot. You turn this handle on the wall, left for hot and right for cold."
"Never mind then."
~~
"Alright, I'm ready." I heard Ciri say as I turned around and saw she was wearing black ripped jeans with black combat boots and a white sweater over a grey shirt.
"Nice outfit," I said genuinely impressed at her choosing such a modern outfit.
"Thanks, I couldn't decide what to wear so I asked the DGC for an outfit that would help me blend in and it showed me this. It was only 5 points, can you believe that?"
"I didn't know it could do that. And now I'm wondering if I got scammed for my suit?"
[Admin's suit was high quality among the highest quality available in current world]
"Never mind. Alright, you ready to go?" I said before something came to mind.
"Wait, I completely forgot to ask you what you got from the rewards for the last mission. I don't know how it completely slipped my mind." I asked her.
"I was wondering when you'd ask." she said with a smile.
"Alright, I'm assuming you got something good by the look on your face." I said rolling my eyes at her provocation.
"Indeed I did. But first, you tell me what you got."
"Fine. I got an enchanted axe and shares in a company, as well as an ability that lets me see the inside of someone's body." I told her before she started looking at me like a pervert.
"Hey, not like that I mean their insides, like their muscles and skeleton and things like that. It helps me be a better doctor and lets me spot weaknesses I can take advantage of during combat." I explained which made her change her expression to one of interest.
"What are shares? And what kind of axe?" she asked, confused.
"Shares are percentage ownership of a company, the more shares you own the more control you have over the company, and the more money you get. And for the axe, it's this." I explained before summoning the axe from my inventory.
"Whoa. That is the most beautiful axe I've ever seen. Can I touch it? And how is it enchanted?"
"Like this. Smoke." I said before Smoke appeared out of my shadow and stared at Ciri.
"You have a wolf too?! That's just not fair." she said to which Smoke raised his head in pride.
"Can I pet him?"
"Ask him."
"He can talk?" she said looking at me with a baffled look.
"I can talk. And you may pet me, only because you recognize greatness." he said which made me roll my eyes. Ciri getting the okay walked up to him and began to pet him, which he clearly liked evident by his tail wagging.
"Alright, that's enough. You can pet him later. You were about to tell me about your rewards." I said as Smoke went back into my shadow.
"Right. For my first item, I got this!" she said before summoning a sword I had seen countless times before.
"That's from SAO isn't it?" I said admiring the sword and baffled at the coincidence of me thinking about SAO and seeing the iconic sword a few minutes later.
"Indeed it is, the [Lambent Light]. A rapier from the SAO universe. It's quite strong and sharp, not to mention light. Unfortunately, it's a rapier. I'm used to using a longsword."
"I think you should learn how to use it properly."
"Why?"
"A factor that helps a rapier is speed and unpredictability. With your Elder Blood, you can bring out the maximum power in a rapier. What is speed to teleportation?"
"Yes, I was thinking the same thing. I'm glad you were able to pick up on that Matt." she said with a smile.
"What else did you get?"
"The other item is quite useless for me if I'm being honest. It's an item called the [Flask of Perpetual Booze] from something called Critical Role. Do you know what that is?"
"No idea."
"Well, apparently it never runs out of booze no matter how much you drink. Good enough item, but I can't drink that much. Anyway, my ability/skill/talent roll landed me with [Space Talent]."
"Whoa, the first talent I've seen one of us get."
"Indeed and it's perfect for me since it increases my talent when it comes to anything related to space. So my teleportation and blinking will be improved at a much faster rate than before." she said with a big smile.
"Sounds like you're happy overall with your rewards."
"Indeed I am. I do wish the flask was something more relevant to me, but beggars can't be choosers."
"Alright, now that that's been discussed let's introduce you to the world shall we?"
