"Who are you?" said Geralt as he looked right at me.
"Matt, so nice to meet the man who raised Ciri. She's talked a lot about you." I said.
"Mm." he grunted.
"How are you feeling?" asked Ciri, diverting his attention.
"Groggy. What happened?"
"After you and Yen died in Rivia, Ihuarraquax revived you both and afterward you spent your time in Malus Island, living in peace. But the Wild Hunt found you and took Yen hostage. You went after them and caught up to them and offered yourself in exchange for Yen. They accepted and you've been riding with them up until now." explained Ciri.
"How'd you free me?"
"With the help of Ciri's friends, we set up an ambush and killed the Wild Hunt. As soon as their leader died, you were set free of his spell but it took your memory. Luckily I was ready beforehand and had a potion ready to bring your memory back. And now you're here." continued Yennefer.
"You killed the Wild Hunt?" asked Geralt, in disbelief.
"Quite easily too. Those friends of Ciri aren't something to scoff at. I'd reckon they could give you a proper fight." teased Yennefer.
"Where'd you find these friends of yours?"
"I found them when I was hopping through worlds. They helped me out of a pickle and we became friends." said Ciri.
"More than friends." said Yennefer while looking at me.
"Right, I guess it's time for a proper introduction. Geralt, Yennefer, this is Matt. He's my boyfriend." said Ciri as she brought me forward.
"Boyfriend?" asked the two of them, confused at the word.
"Oh right. In their world, the word boyfriend means a regular male companion with whom one has a romantic or sexual relationship. We have both."
"It's nice to officially meet you both. As I said, Ciri has told me a lot about both of you." I said as Geralt looked me up and down.
"It's nice to officially meet you, Mr. Boyfriend. How long have you two been lovers?" asked Yennefer.
"It was relatively recent that we decided to begin a romantic relationship, but I've wanted to make my move for a while now. Just took me a bit to do so. Had to get a hint from one of our friends, that Ciri wanted the same." I explained.
"Isn't that nice, Geralt?"
"Mm." he grunted.
"Well, we trust Ciri enough to make her own decisions, and not like she would listen to us even if we were against it. She's always been a very opinionated girl. I hope you'll have patience when it comes to her."

"Yen!"
"Oh shush now, darling. I'm sure he's picked up on it by now."
"I have, but I do like that about her. I'm not one to like women who only aim to please, I like an unruly one. One with a warrior's heart, and fire." I said as I looked at Ciri.
"Isn't that sweet, Geralt?"
"I need to take a leak." he said standing up and leaving the room.
"Oh, he'll come around, dear. Geralt acts tough but he's a teddy bear when it comes to his Ciri."
"So I've heard. I think I'll prepare a feast to celebrate our victory, and Geralt's and Ciri's freedom from the Wild Hunt." I said before going to check what food was available.
On the way to the "kitchen", or at least the closest thing to one, I heard the sound of swords clashing and went to take a look. Exiting the keep and into the training yard, I saw Vesemir and Uzui fighting, with Uzui on the back foot by a margin.
"Come on, kid. You rely too much on that strength of yours, you've forgotten what it means to be a swordsman."
"Okay!" yelled Uzui.
'Looks like Uzui's having fun. The only reason he's losing is because he's fighting based on swordsmanship alone. If he was using his real strength, Vesemir would be defeated in a near instant.' I thought as I observed the two.
"Alright break time. I'm not as young as I used to be." said Vesemir as he took deep breaths.
"Okay, Guts, spar with me." said Uzui while Guts was happy to oblige.
"Kid, is Geralt awake?" asked Vesemir as he walked up to me.
"He is. Had no memory as expected but he's gotten it back after the potion Yennefer made."
"How'd he take the news of you and Cirilla?"
"I knew you knew."
"Of course, I knew. I've been alive longer than you can imagine. I could tell you've both been intimate with just a glance."
"Awesome. But as for how he took it, I would say okay. He went out to take a leak, but he seemed fine with it."
"Ah, give him time. He's practically raised Cirillia all her life. She's like a daughter to him."
"I'll give him as much time as he needs. I don't think I'd take it too well either if my daughter came home one day with her lover."
"By the way, I've been meaning to ask you about how you fought?"
"You mean how I crushed them from far away?"
"Is it magic?"
"No. Similar I suppose. It's called telekinesis. I got it after I touched a crystal I found in a cave. Fell unconscious and a few weeks after that I accidentally made something move without touching it. So, I tested it again and it turned out I had gotten telekinesis. After a long time training it, I got it to the point it's at now." I explained.
"Must've touched a place of power"
"Of magic?"
"Mm. P-"
"Places of power are areas where magic has become so concentrated it has a possibility of manifesting in a physical form, usually a stone." said Geralt, finishing Vesemir's explanation.
"Geralt. Boy, is it good to see you." said Vesemir as he got up to hug him.
"Good to see you too, Vesemir." he responded, reciprocating the hug.
"I thought you were gone for good."
"I know. I'm sorry."
"Well, I'll give you two some space. I'll go give pointers to those friends of yours." said Vesemir before walking off.
"So." said Geralt.
"So."
"How'd you meet Ciri?"
"Fate." I joked, not making a crack on his face, "Well it was a coincidence mostly. My friends and I were walking to the next town over when we saw a portal open up and a woman fall out of it. I was able to get there in time to save her from hitting the ground, but she was out for a while. We decided to set up camp and we nursed her back to health.
Once she woke up, she almost took my friend's head off, but after calming down, she realized she was safe. She apologized and thanked us for helping her. We got to talking and became fast friends. The rest is history." I explained before sending the explanation to everyone in the group chat, so we would have the same story.
"Mm. Fine. Like Yen said earlier, she's an adult and can make her own decisions. From what I can tell, you're alright. But, if you ever hurt her, I promise you, I'll hunt you down." he said staring right into my eyes.
"I wouldn't have it any other way."
"Good. Ciri said you're making food and it's supposed to be the best thing she's ever had." he said before walking into the keep while I followed him.
"Well, I don't know about the best thing she's ever had, that's too much praise for me. But I do dabble in cooking."
"I'll be the judge of that. You play Gwent?"
