After staying up all night talking about business, Hana had to sleep in the spare bedroom that was included in the suite. She had offered to just book her own room, but being the generous employer that I am, I made her stay in the spare bedroom so she wouldn't waste her money. The next morning, I also treated her to my cooking, which she very much enjoyed.
"Wow, that was amazing. And I've eaten food from Totsuki graduates before." she said as she patted her stomach.
"I know right? I've told him before he would make it big if he became a chef." said Ciri.
"Well, thank you ladies." I said as I put the dishes in the sink.
"I'll clean those later, Matt." said Ciri.
"Okay."
"As much as I have enjoyed this, it's time for me to go. I have things to take care of before I can officially join the company." said Hana.
"Of course, don't let me keep you."
"Okay then. Boss, I'll talk to you soon." she said.
"Boss, huh? I like the sound of that." I said rubbing my chin thinking about all my future employees shouting boss.
"Sigh, absolute power corrupts absolutely. And it's not even been a day." joked Hana.
"Alright, alright. Go on. I'll call you if I need anything." I said as she left, leaving Ciri and me alone.
"I like her." said Ciri as she started washing the dishes.
"Me too. I sure do know how to pick them." I said as I sat down on the couch and turned on the TV.
"Them? And what do you mean by them?" she said, raising her eyebrow.
"Employees. Friends. Girlfriend." I said.
"So, girlfriend is last on the list huh?" she said.
"Of course, save the best for last."
"Good." she said before blinking right next to him.
"What's gotten into you?"
"Well, we've done it at night every day for the past few days, and yesterday we didn't. So, I'm a little backed up. Momma needs her sugar." she said before kissing me.
"Momma needs her sugar? Don't ever say that again please."
"Fine, whatever, just come on."
~
"What do you have planned for the rest of the day?" said Ciri, a sheen of sweat covering her body as we had just finished a vigorous exercise.
"I was going to call up a fellow doctor and ask him for a favor. I've been getting sidetracked with other things that I haven't been able to be a doctor for too long. So, I was going to speak with the Dean of Medicine of my fellow doctor's workplace and ask him if I could work at the clinic. It's a free clinic, so win-win for me. I get to treat people, they get treated by a great doctor for free." I said as I brought Ciri closer to me.
"Sounds nice. Guess I'll just go visit Geralt and Yen meanwhile."

"Why don't you use the computer and look up the majors you were interested in? That way you can have a better idea of what you're getting yourself into?" I said.
"I'll do that tomorrow. Not like I have anything to do anymore."
"Whatever you want. I just don't want you to be stagnant. Being in a relationship means pushing each other to be better." I said kissing her head.
"Thanks. So, that means I should push you to be better as well right?" she said.
"Yup."
"Good. Then I have a few tips about our sex life." she said.
"Whoa, wait a minute. You haven't been satisfied?" I said backing up a little to look at her face.
"No, I have. It's just I could be satisfied even more."
"Okay, well I can't say that doesn't sting a little, but okay. Communication is an important part of any relationship, so I'm glad we're doing this now. I have some tips for you as well." I said.
"What?! You have some tips for me?" she asked, a little baffled.
"Of course, I do. What, did you think you were a goddess of sex?" I asked with a smile.
"Well, no, but I thought I was doing alright."
"You are, but as you said, I could be satisfied even more."
"You're right." she said.
"Good, now, let me have it." I said before we started talking about how we could each improve upon our sex life.
~
An hour or so later, we were done talking.
"That was productive." I said.
"Yeah, it was. I'm glad you're able to talk about this stuff with me. I'd hate to have this become a pebble on our path down the line." she said as we continued to cuddle.
"Me too. I'm in this for the long run."
"Me too." she said turning her head up to look at me as we kissed.
TRING
"Was that?" said Ciri.
"I think it was. A mission." I said as I opened up the DGC to check.
[Mission]
World: Overwatch
Participants: Everyone
- Prevent the fall of Overwatch
- Eliminate Talon (Optional)
- Prevent the Second Omnic Crisis from occurring (Optional)
Rewards:
- 1 Random Skill/Ability/Talent Token
- 1 Random Item Token
- 1 Base Token
- ??? Unlocked (All missions must be completed)
"Overwatch, huh? I know some of the lore but not all of it." I said.
"What's a base token?" asked Ciri.
[Base Token allows for the user to create a base of operations that lets them fully customize the base as they see fit, and allows for upgrades.]
"Well, that's our apartment problem solved." I said.
"Talk about convenient." said Ciri.
"Call the others." I told Ciri before she called the others.
"So, did you guys see the mission?" said Ciri as the other four entered the call.
"Yup. I can't wait! I love Overwatch!" said Amelia.
"What kind of world is Overwatch?" asked Guts.
"Me, me! I can explain!" said Amelia.
"Go ahead." I said as we chuckled at her antics.
"Ehem, thank you. So, Overwatch is set in a world where technology is very advanced. So, a company called Omnica Corporation started creating factories called omniums that would constantly pump out robots that would do what they were told. But, after a while, the company couldn't keep up with the number of robots they promised and were eventually shut down after malfunctions and allegations of fraud.
Sometime after that, a lot of the omniums suddenly started up again and started creating super-intelligent military-grade robots called Omnics. That then led to a war called the Omnic Crisis where it was the humans fighting against the Omnics all over the world. This then led to countries starting their own elite military strike teams, which then led to the world coming together and creating Overwatch. A United Nations strike team that would operate all around the world before eventually taking care of the Omnic Crisis.
After that, Overwatch became a peacekeeping team all across the world but was eventually taken down because of outside forces intervening. Oh, and there's a group of bad guys called Talon that thinks humanity is better when they're in conflict because conflict breeds innovation." said Amelia before taking a sip of water.
"There are more nuances to it than that, but you guys get the idea." I said.
"So, we have to join this Overwatch, prevent it from being destroyed by Talon and other people, take down Talon, and stop the Omnic Crisis from occurring a second time." said Ciri.
"Sounds fun." said Uzui.
"Very. Alright everyone, prepare what needs to be prepared and we'll meet up in an hour." I said before we all started getting ready.
"I wonder how long this mission will be." I wondered out loud.
"Why?" asked Ciri.
"Well, the story of Overwatch takes place over half a century or something like that." I said.
"Oh, that's exciting." said Ciri.
~
Matt: Alright, everyone ready?
Everyone: Yup
Matt: Good, I'm going to start it.
[Mission]
[Warning: Users will experience their background in the world before the mission begins!]
[Accept?]
"Experience their background? Like how I experience other's memories?" I asked the DGC.
[Yes]
"Do we have to?"
[Yes]
"Okay, then. Accept."
