“Huh?” Looking at the remaining Leaf Widows member, Red Bull said, “That thing you picked from your head enlarged quite a bit. Is it another Augmented Weapon? I sure hope you can entertain me some more. Enough wait!”
Red Bull released 6 more meteorites to obliterate Cinder Burn’s false braggadocio. They could only be 1 tiger atop the mountain. Truthfully, he just wanted to find out what her enlarged gourd could do. “I can sense a strange presence coming from that thing. I better see what I’m dealing with first.”
As the falling meteorites descended faster towards Cinder Burn, she whispered a brief incantation which caused both herself and her enlarged gourd to start glowing simultaneously.
“What is that?” The crowd witnessed a shocking scenery taking place onstage.
“Hyper Blaze Mode!” A deadly shockwave emanated from Cinder Burn’s proximity; so strong that it caused the incoming meteorites to shatter to pieces.
Red Bull felt a sliver of excitement upon seeing this. “Oh, she has guts. Not bad little girlie.”
Cinder Burn underwent a brief transformation. Her left arm which was made out of twisting parts of wood separated into many neat branches with a sharp arrowhead. The leafy wings poised at her back increased in flapping velocity, making Cinder Burn extremely fast. Her Guide acquired thick vines flowing through the pages. As for the large gourd, it was periodically oscillating at her posterior. Her entire complex was brimming with a brilliant aura of numerical values. This transformation was known as Hyper Blaze Mode.
“Wow! That Cinder Burn chick is on fire!” Dam Son was amazed by what he was seeing.
“She might be one of the most powerful first years in Caromine Institute.” Admitted Sugar Bun.
Xuan Li was speechless, he couldn’t form any word to explain what he was seeing. He was too engrossed in the ongoing battle.
Back to the matter on stage, Red Bull decided to take Cinder Burn seriously. They were both first-years attending Raixom Academy, however, he had more experience and skills when it came to Word Combat. Red Bull took his hand out of his pocket and pulled out a special script from his Guide.
“Is that what I think it is?” D.Zypher had already known what type of script Red Bull had pulled out. “That’s the elite Summoning Script. If he’s calling that thing out. It means he’s going to get serious.”
The script Red Bull activated called forth a ferocious infernal winged beast boasting the size of a truck. “Garuda, there is your opponent.” Red Bull pointed at Cinder Burn who was settled afar. His infernal phoenix wasted no time at all swooping towards its target.
Many ferocious fireballs were being launched at Cinder Burn along with irregular physical attacks. Red Bull just stood back and watched everything unfold.

“Branch Streak!” While evading multiple aerial assaults from Garuda, Cinder Burn shot the arrowheads of her wooden left arm into the ground. From where they made an impact, they sprouted large vines accompanied by tall twisting trees that attacked both Garuda and Red Bull simultaneously. Battle Arena 1 was quickly turning into a mini forestry.
“I think it’s getting a bit too crowded up here.” Feeling miffed at the limited space for proper movement, Red Bull page teleported out of Cinder Burn’s attack range then called down myriads of blazing meteorites to obliterate the growing forestry. “That’s more like it. Now there is less obstruction, huh?”
Cinder Burn flew up towards Red Bull at burst speed. She figured that because he was a Word Mage expert, he lacked all prospects of close-quarters combat. “That’s where you’re wrong little missy. Garuda transform!”
Red Bull’s summoned beast quickly morphed into a high-grade flame sword; just in time for him to parry Cinder Burn’s Whip of Numbers strike.
Cinder Burn was surprised by how skilled Red Bull was with a weapon. “Damn Bastard! You’re a Word Augmenter as well?”
“Why wouldn’t I be?” Red Bull parried another strike then page teleported behind Cinder Burn and whispered in her ear, “I am the best after all.” He kissed her cheek then page teleported again before she could chop him to pieces.
“You dawn pervert! How dare you steal my first kiss?” Feeling extremely irate, Cinder Burn released a tsunami of sapphire numbers from the mouthpiece of her gourd.
Perceiving the ocean of numerical values rushing down at him, Red Bull smirked before releasing 2 Gravity Splash Scripts simultaneous along with an Inverse Script which helped to direct the force of gravity upwards. Cinder Burn’s tsunami of numbers was stopped mid-air. However, she wasn’t that bothered. By assimilating her Whip of Numbers with an Anti-Gravity Slash Script, she was able to redirect the numeric tsunami along with the added gravity back at Red Bull.
When the combined attacks hit the stage, the majority of the stage got blown to pieces even though it was built more sturdy than the ones from the admission matches. Of course, Red Bull managed to evade safely before he could suffer any damage. He reappeared at the centre of the stage after the dust particles had cleared.
“Wow! Look at all this destruction you’ve caused.” Glancing around, Red Bull felt a bit annoyed because Cinder Burn caused more destruction than he did. “I think it’s about time I end this battle. It was fun while it lasted though.”
A menacing feeling crept in as Red Bull reached for the blindfold wrapped around his face; he took his sweet time taking it off too. Everyone watching was eager to see what he had hidden underneath. Out of everyone present, Cinder Burn saw it better.
“His eyes, they are…” Before she could form an opinion about Red Bull’s enthralling eyes, Cinder Burn saw him standing inches ahead of her. If the crowd didn’t know that a battle was taking place, they would have thought that Cinder Burn and Red Bull were lovers due to how close their faces were to each other.
“Look into my eyes.” Red Bull got even closer to Cinder Burn. His eyes seemed very deep as if a boundless vortex of repression was swerving within. At the forefront of his pupils, a pair of radiant L’s that possessed 2 glowing crosshatch was evident. As they started rotating, Cinder Burn felt an overpowering sense of doubt, low self-esteem, indecision and hesitation coupled with myriads of other negative emotions. The one that bombarded her mind the most and as a constant reminder was the one that said she was a big fat LOSER! LOSER! LOSER! LOSER! LOSER!
“No! Stop it! Get out of my head! I’m not a loser!” Cinder Burn could no longer resist Red Bull’s negative compulsions. Very quickly, she dropped to her knees before him; this time, repeating that she was a loser until she lost consciousness. Red Bull’s Loser Eyes completely decimated Cinder Burn’s imperious pride.
