Chapter 14 - Introduction To Library Creation

“Moving on to our next lesson for the day, I will teach you the importance of having your own Library.” Ms Enjoy removed the previous script she had placed on the clear board, replacing it with another complicated diagram.

“This is even more complex to decipher.” Dam Son thought after taking a brief overview of the script being displayed on his screen.

Ms Enjoy gave her class an introduction to what a Library was and what it was used for. “In our previous lesson, I spoke about the importance of proper script activation. What I’m about to teach you is just as essential. For starters, let me demonstrate to you what a Library is?”

Ms Enjoy summoned her precious Tome for all the members of her class to adorn. It was almost as tall as her slender-looking body, packed with thick lumps of Manuscripts. It exuded a cumbersome pressure that almost suffocated her students. She had to quickly vanish her Tome into incognito mode after ripping out a stable Papyrus for her demonstration.

“Sorry if I scared you all just now, but I had to invoke my Tome to retrieve this Library Sheet. Oh, I believe this is a good opportunity to inform you about what you have all experienced just now. The oppressive force that exuded after my Tome was unleashed is known as Guide Aura among Word Masters. As you grow accustomed to using your Papyri, eventually you will discover the flow of Guide Aura. It is something that comes naturally. In our later lessons, you will find out more. ”

“Wow! So that is what an actual Tome looks like in person?” Dam Son wasn’t the only person in the class who was amazed, other students felt the magnificence that surged forth from Ms Enjoy’s gigantic Tome. “Guide Aura is what she called it. I wonder why it was named that.”

Papyrus told Dam Son the reason. “Beings like myself are also referred to as Guides for Word Masters. Hence why she called it Guide Aura.”

“Hmm, I see.” Dam Son gave his attention back to his teacher. The surrounding students sitting close to him thought that he was queer by how he was speaking to his Papyrus as if it was a person.

The students began to snicker at Dam Son. “What is that idiotic Dark-Human doing in our class? Who even installs Speech Emulator Scripts on their Guides nowadays? That is so lame. Don’t you agree?”

“He must not have many friends. I only know of lonely people who do stupid things like that.”

“Huh?” Dam Son overheard the jeering conversation of the students around him, but he ignored them.

Ms Enjoy continued, “What I have in my hand is known as a Library Sheet. Let me demonstrate how it works.” Ms Enjoy Properly traced the contours of her Library Sheet using her bare fingertips. A clear yellow glow began radiating from her fingers as she activated the magical patterns.

Seconds later, the Library Sheet sent off colourful spell graphs which transformed into 5 carton boxes that floated around Ms Enjoy. Each box’s size varied according to its unique contents. The smallest box had 6 equilateral sides measuring 7 inches.

Ms Enjoy interacted with a few boxes as she continued her demonstration. “These floating cubes are the extracted portion of a Library Sheet. Whenever Word Masters speak of Library, they are referring to cumulative storage where the content of Vocabulary Packs mixed with various scripts are well sorted out. Observe.”

Ms Enjoy touched the base of a box. It bounced similarly to a gelatinous substance for a second then poured out several collections of regular size books which had zippers concealing their contents. “These are basic storage books that come equipped with the creation of any Library. One of the main features of having a Library is the ability to capture and store living organisms to procure their Raw Mundane Letters.”

Ms Enjoy unzipped a book that she had grasped. What crawled out soon after were a series of tiny spherical creatures. They had spiky apple bodies with a short stem on top. 2 very thick leaves were softly swaying from the erected stem, each of which sported a bulging eye. They also had tiny mouths at the very bottom which they used to speak out of. Visible bubbles were the words they spoke.

The author's tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.

“As you can see, these small Magical Word Beasts are clearly still living. I captured these cute Apricot Puffer Birds a few nights ago just for this demonstration. Only a Library could disintegrate these living organisms into scriptural data to keep stored until you are ready to reactivate them. Even menial stuff such as food can be safely stored within these boxes without ever going stale or losing its flavour. Another example of a Library is utilized in those many storage devices that you see selling across Vocabulary for exorbitant prices. Why waste Q-currency on bound to expire products when you can create your own?”

“What I’ve just demonstrated is merely one aspect of a Library.” Saying this, Ms Enjoy showcased another gelatinous box. “These larger Library boxes consist of some Powered Letters that I’ve already sorted out in proper order. As you continue to grow as a Word Master you will eventually realize that your Vocabulary Packs will reach a limit of how many letters they can hold. Even if you force your Guide to simply store them all in Blank Pages it won’t be enough. You will only take up all of your Manuscript’s space by storing only Powered Letters alone. Instead of gearing towards this disorganized way of maintaining your Guide, creating a Library will solve all of these issues, making your Guide well-adjusted in aiding your future ventures.”

“I don’t want to take up too much time on the theoretical part of this lesson, so without further ado, let’s dive right into creating your own unique Library.” Ms Enjoy deactivated her Library. All of the varying size boxes returned to scriptural data that merged into a Library Sheet. Soon after, it disappeared up in smoke.

“Alright, who’s ready to create their own Library?” Enthusiastically asking this question, Ms Enjoy waited for her student’s response.

“Me! Me! Me!” Many students raised their hands eagerly, Dam Son was of course, within this mixture.

“I’m glad to see you all so eager. Ok, take 5 minutes before sitting back down.”

“Yes, teacher!”

……

When the 5-minutes recess was over, the students settled their behinds back into their seats. Ms Enjoy operated a Graph Switch on the clear board where she had a brand new enlarged script present. Moments later, a noticeable change began taking effect on every student’s desk in the classroom.

“What’s this?” Dam Son witnessed the front portion of his desk extending while opening its compartment. A bubbling water surface was inside. Each bubble that rippled throughout the peculiar wetness was producing growing letters varying from A-Z in Vocabulary’s unique alphabet.

Dam Son used his finger to tap one of the floating letters and immediately it produced toxic steam which almost blasted his nose off. ‘Cough! Cough!’ Other students did the same thing and suffered nostril abuse.

Ms Enjoy had to quickly issue a warning. “Students please take heed not to breathe in the toxic fumes emanating from the Arcane Bath. If you look in the side compartment of your desks you will discover a simple Noun Script inside that contains a mask. Go ahead and put them on.”

With his nose still covered, Dam Son opened the side slot on his desk. He properly traced the Noun Script’s activation graph to avoid succumbing to CLDS (Compulsive Letter Depletion Syndrome). Shortly, a versatile mask manifested. Dam Son observed how the other students utilized the mask then did the same by equipping it over his face. “Is this how you use it?”

“Yes, yes, that’s it, newborn.” Papyrus made sure Dam Son was doing it correctly.

“Now class, let me explain the creation process of making your own Library. The Arcane Bath before each of you is what beginners Wordsmiths usually used to refine Raw Mundane Letters. Today we will be using it to create your Library Sheet. The Arcane Bath has already been supplied with an ample amount of refined SPL (Superpower Letters) so you don’t have to worry about running low during the creation process. A Library Sheet is comprised of 3 core Graphs to get it working. These are called, Greek Alpha, Greek Beta and lastly, Greek Gamma. They are other complicated Graphs that you can use to enhance your Library, but for now, we will only be focusing on the 3 core Graphs.

There are 3 separate nobs attached to the Arcane Bath. The left nob controls the cooler temperatures of the bath; the right nob governs the warmer temperatures, and the middle nob adjusts the rate at which the Superpower Letters get poured in. The pair of Tracing Gloves that I gave each of you earlier will be the tool you use to interact with the Arcane Bath. Those of you who have already taken them off, please put them back on.”

Ms Enjoy waited for those naked students to cover up their fingers. Dam Son was still wearing his so he didn’t have to trouble himself. He glanced at Cinder Burn abreast him and smiled. He grinned after seeing her reaching for her Tracing Gloves to put them back on.

“Stop staring at me, stupid.” Cinder Burn gave Dam Son a serious glare that almost knocked his head off his shoulders.

“This Demi-Human is quite furious.” Dam Son hurriedly looked away; giving his attention to Ms Enjoy’s instructions.
