Pushing his sword down into the chest of the humongous titted girl, Ouji stopped. Hovering over her body with his sword penetrating her heart, he waited for her breathing to stop.
Leaving his sword in her, he rose. Walking out of his hut, he surveyed the remains of Neo-Nephil in the Geofront. His kingdom.
Ouji grasped the crown off his head, letting it fall to the ground.
His former kingdom.
Ouji’s unexpected rise to power when he survived the cataclysm. The past where he spent the days drinking, chasing girls, and adventuring, shirking his role as fourth in line to the throne were ancient history now.
But Ouji thought of those times fondly now. Walking across the ruins of his new kingdom, now, with one living occupant, himself.
Ouji became king because he was able to get along with Niji, who controlled the lycan-zombies. Their settlement in the Geofront would be impossible otherwise. The moment his countrymen landed here, they shared space with monsters. Lycan-zombies would attack them, cause outbreaks creating more lycan-zombies. Soon their number swelled, and Ouji found himself with lots of lycan-zombies and very little people.
And the last person, the big titted Dojikko, became infected. She pleaded with Ouji to finish her. Ouji did as she asked.
Though Ouji thought he really finished her because he was tired of ruling. Niji gave him dominion over the lycan-zombies, if she turned, she’d be under his control. Ouji didn’t want that. He was sick of ferrying around monsters, of talking down the remaining humans telling them everything is going to be alright.
“Nothing ended alright. It’s over. That’s the solace I can give them now.” Ouji whispered to himself.
Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon.
Wandering the ruins, he found himself impeded by Stehy.
“You’re the last survivor. Come with me.”
She held out her hand for Ouji to take.
Ouji took her hand. There was no grand design in it, or deep thought involved. She offered help, and Ouji, at a loss for what else to do, took it.
And he saw the stars out of the Twintails Rising in the next moment.
“Is this… the sky?”
“Space.”
Stehy walked off, and Ouji followed her, his head turned to take in the view of the space.
Lonely nights less than a few months ago where he would stare up at the stars in silence flooded him. In front of him now, he understood there was no one to stop him from doing the staring he did back then.
Except Stehy. She snatched his hand and pulled him into her quarters, directing him to a chair.
“You lost all of them?”
“All..all of what?” A dazed Ouji answered her.
“Your kingdom. The lycan-zombies, how did you manage to control them? I examined the remains of the battle, why would the lycan zombies fight on your side against Yarko? Why fight Yarko?”
Ouji settled into his chair, his mind spitting out answers through his voice. “Pressure from the Moon Elves. We were already few in number, the uh, living ones, that is. The Moon Elves have powerful magic and our strongest, former strongest, Imouto, wouldn’t stand by my side. One of the Moon Elves pushed me to setup an attack on that grey haired girl, and if I didn’t, the Moon Elves would leave and fend for themselves. They only stuck around us because I could attack them with the lycan-zombies—”
“How can you do that? You don’t have magical powers like that.”
“Oh,” Ouji sighed. “That girl, the one your size who I met once, a long time ago. She came to me in a dream and handed over control of them to me.”
“Niji?”
“Is that her name? Didn’t even introduce herself.”
Stehy thought to herself. Niji is hiding, then. She’s been missing since before Wizard and Anime Girl disappeared. Through the [Yumicite] dagger, Stehy kept on eye on Yarko, she watched her die.
There’s Niji left. Niji, the one who created the lycan-zombies. Stehy wanted to pretend she didn’t exist, but her power was undeniable. Maybe through her-
“Is there something going on?” Ouji broke her thoughts.
“[Yume Nasai] is falling apart. Not your concern. I’ll teleport you back to Nephilze.”

Ouji stretched in the sunlight on the streets of his old town. He wandered into the thick of the streets, and got lost in the crowd. First, he’d head to the adventurer’s guild…
