Autist Isekai
[END] [All Fiction]

[END] [All Fiction]

In the depths of the Geofront below [Yume Nasai]’s mansion, a demonic brontosaurus collapsed to the ground.

“I like how big and fat it is. Knowing I killed it, I feel powerful, you know?” Wizard admired her blue grey katana.

Yukko stepped in close, peeking at the sword. “Is that [yumicite]? So dense.” She poked it.

Wizard moved his hyper weapon away from the girl.

Yukko took the hint. She approached a hidden alcove under a tree. Steps leading down into the made her uneasy. Even though she went down here by herself, having Wizard follow her made her nervous.

“Don’t do anything.”

“What would I do?”

There wasn’t a single thought of doing anything in Wizard’s mind.

Yukko guided her hand across the cool stone to her left, careful to have her boots touch against the steps below her before placing all her weight on them.

Wizard grinned as she summoned a ball of light to guide the two.

However, although Yukko felt relieved to have light to guide her, she said nothing. Wizard felt proud of her efforts, however meager. Her desire for praise from Yukko stewed inside as they descended.

Reaching the final step, a glow at the end of an open hall spread out before them.

Wizard’s ear twitched. English dubbing. A tight grin marred her face.

They approached a tv set with old style wire rabbit ears made makeshift from a clothes hanger. Yukko petted the top of the tv, brushing away dust.

Her petty attempt to clean the dirty old tv didn’t stop the anime playing on the TV screen.

Wizard’s face soured. Readying her katana, she asked Yukko, “Medaka Box?”

“Is it?” Yukko’s eyebrows swirled against each other in the tv’s glow.

“Yeah. So, this is the first seal of the [Anime Girl] spell?”

Yukko nodded. “Yep. It’ll get difficult from here on, so let’s—”

And then Wizard did something unbelievably stupid. It’s important to mention here that Wizard never was a fan of english dubbed anime. However, the real reason Wizard bisected the 1st seal, if asked afterwards, would be, “at the time it seemed like a good idea so I thought like, why not?”

Of course as the 1st seal of the [Anime Girl] spell bisected, as the tv collapsed onto the ground, naturally, the story came to an end.

Because, this story, Autist Isekai, is fictional. The events depicted in this story don’t refer to real people, real events, nor does the story have much intention or ability of entertainment and/or informational purposes. Really, you’d be better reading The Wandering Inn or checking out some anime or manga. Surely you have meaningful activies to do with your life than read this tripe spat out weekly by a low self-esteem autist, right? How’s that project going that you’re working on? The skills you’d like to have that you aren’t studying for? The relationship reigning over your thoughts that you wish you could forget?

This is all fiction. So. Wizard and Yukko entered frozen space. A completely white area, completely cut off from any context. The white space extended into the horizon endlessly, and, staring at the two, an average boy with an average gakuran pitied the two frozen characters.

「Losers。」Kumagawa Misogi said. 「Welcome。」He spread his arms out. 「This is [All Fiction]。It’s sad, but she sent me out alone here, you wouldn’t believe the kind of punishments that girl dreams up, this time, get it, she said she’d make me a boss character of some westerner’s fanfiction。」

Kumagawa walked up to the statues of Yukko and Wizard, knocking the girls on their heads to check they really couldn’t move, grinning, he slipped a hand into his gakuran, the edge of an apron became visible.

“[Za Warudo]”

Wizard’s voice from inside the ended story shattered the color there, inverting it. Mana reserves boiled in Wizard’s frozen existence. The whole of [Yume Nasai], for an instant, flickered as if a television screen turning to fuzz.

Wizard fell to the ground, panting and sweating. She glanced at Yukko, readied her katana, then took an apron to her face.

「Strip。Strip, and put it on。」

Wizard froze with the apron over her face. She knew that voice well.

“I used to be a man. You know. Thirty plus virgin. Male. Oji-san.”

Wizard pulled the apron from her face, rising to stand off against Kumagawa.

「Even better。When you’ve lived long enough you like a little more variety。What’s important is the you-now is a girl。」

Wizard put both hands on her katana, distancing herself from the frozen Yukko.

Kumagawa lifted up a hand, summoning a smartphone, he waved it at wizard.

「The story is over。I deleted all the chapters。Except this one, but, this chapter too, will become nothing。」

Wizard stopped. The witches stew of his mind brewed up a concotion of half-connections and half-truths, shallow reasonings, and false conclusions. Really, it was a bunch of nonsense, ego, and self-explanation of what Wizard didn’t understand at all herself running high pace at a loop. But, if she knew one thing, she knew that victory was hers. Wizard grinned.

“Kumagawa, have you heard of the [Ecchi Line]?”

「Sounds risque。」

“It’s Anime Girl Physics.”

Kumagawa held up a palm, as if pleading. 「Ah, not physics, that’s school, I spent everyday in school feeling like a loser so I’d really not remember those days。」

Wizard gloated. “It means, you can’t defy your genre rules. Kumagawa Misogi always loses. He’s a villain, the heroes triumphs. That’s all.”

Smugly attacking, Wizard took a large screw to her face. Wizard fell back onto the floor, her katana swirling in the air free from her grip, the sword stabbed into a spare white spot, shimmering like a flagpole.

Wizard got up, rubbing her screwed cheek with malice tinging her dull silver eyes. Heroes never have it easy.

「As a Villain, it may be a given that I’ll lose to the hero, somehow。」Kumagawa spread his arms wide, holding two large screws. 「As Kumagawa, it may be given that I’ll lose。But, giving my best effort keeps me going。If I can be satisfied with my effort, I don’t need to be satisfied with the result of the struggle。Because, I know what happens。」

Kumagawa grinned. 「[All Fiction]。Your transfer to another world, Autist Isekai, becomes nothing。」

Wizard’s vision rattled. Clothes disappearing, boxes appeared on Wizard’s old body. Thirty plus, male, balding, fat, body. Wizard’s hand ran over the hairness, through the crop of unwashed hair on his head, then down into the boxers to check the plumbing.

「Please don’t do that while I’m here。」

Wizard was too stunned to be worried about small things. “I forgot. I forgot dicks exist.” And Wizards grubby palm covered his face, creasing his old man ugliness. “I think I liked living better without dicks.”

Kumagawa attacked, a wide smile on his face. Wizard’s body twisted in reflex, knocking the oncoming screws aside with his own forearms. Wizard winched, cuts ripping his forearms. He panted, remembering how hard breathing was like. Surely, he breathed as an Anime Girl too? Breathing shouldn’t be this hard.

Wizard took drill stabs to his stomach shoulder, slowing him. The meager strength of Wizard’s body held out as Kumagawa pushed him back.

Wizard mind swum in pains it forgot. The creaking of the muscles, the joints that were never that great, the fresh exertion of someone who rarely left a computer chair. Wizard couldn’t panic, because Wizard was too busy fighting to live.

Compared to Kumagawa, an anime character, Wizard was now a normal, aged human. Kumagawa himself alone, given a normal teenage body, would have been able to kill Wizard.

Pushed back, Wizard’s thoughts flickered back on line. Odd strands of thought, concerning each and every possibility, began to swim within his mind.

Wizard’s old mode of thinking switched online. Long days of pointless analysis turned toward a single goal. Survive. If there is a problem, solve it. Wizard’s frustration screwed away by Kumagawa’s attacks. His scattered thoughts united into furious imagination.

Wizard’s lips expanded, mimicking a grin. The same feeling he had, when, in his last life, he would walk around wringing his hands with imagination. That furious, excited imagination, it burned within Wizard, boiling in a cauldron of doubt, fear and pain bubbling in from his failing body.

Wizard fell to the white ground. Kumagawa stood over him, screw in hand.

「Looks like I can win。I have a bad feeling about this。」Kumagawa sighed.

「You know, Wizard, you’re right。Being a villain is pointless。I know that, now, after living for so long, but still, it’s painful knowing that you’re going to lose no matter what you do。」Kumagawa grinned. 「Maybe there are are other losers, and, if it’s two losers fighting, the biggest loser wins。」

Wizard’s spent body, screwed full of wounds, shuddered as it failed. Cold crawled over him. Never in his human life had he experienced this intensity, excruciating pain while perched on the edge of death.

“Finish it.”

「Become nothing。」Kumagawa’s screw launched, propelled by his hand, toward Wizard’s head. Wizard jumped straight at the oncoming screw, spending everything his dying body had and coming up with a screw through his chest.

“[Bookmaker].” Wizard gasped to Kumagawa, as his heart screwed to bits inside his chest. His body lying in tatters impaled on the screw, extra energy pulsed through. Strange electricity, power, mana flowed through Wizard’s dead body.

Wizard’s fist punched Kumagawa, sending his body flying. Kumagawa sneered at Wizard. His body hit the white ground, bouncing like a skipping rock.

“This is all fiction. I understand now.” Wizard’s now, truly dead, eyes, mangled body, blood dripped all over. Blood, and sparking within it, meager amounts of mana.

“The [Ecchi Line] wasn’t the end of Anime Girl’s theory. Genres are categories. In a library, there are even bigger categories. Non-fiction, and fiction. There are underlying rules, a hidden logic, behind both of those titles. Hidden expectations. I couldn’t see them before, but now, I understand.”

「I don’t understand at all。 Not at all。Nice turnaround, hero。」Kumagawa cackled from the ground where he lay. Kumagawa raised his hand.「But, I’ll just make that turnaround become nothing。[All Fiction]。」

Wizard turned from Kumagawa, heading toward the katana standing like a flagpole in the white expanse.

“Your real ability always was [Bookmaker]. [Bookmaker] equalizes an opponent’s power to your own. That punch I gave you just now, it wasn’t my strength. It was yours. By invoking the name of your original ability, I forced you to [Bookmaker] over [All Fiction]. You can’t use [All Fiction] anymore. I’ve progressed your character on it’s fictional timeline, forward, to when you lose [All Fiction] and regain [Bookmaker].”

Wizard pulled his katana free of the white expanse. Holding it with a numb arm, he limped towards Yukko.

“But, in the original work, even when [Bookmaker] is used, the person brought down to your level still has their own qualities remaining. Even after using [Bookmaker] on Medaka, you lost.”

Wizard’s palm on his katana handle extended a small tentacle of light. It entered the [Yumicite] katana, a katana made of pure mana. Tendrils spread through the blade. Wizard’s dead body regained mana from Kumagawa’s [Bookmaker], but not nearly enough to win. Or live.

Wizard reached Yukko’s frozen body. Wizard’s tendrils broke through the katana’s barriers. The katana made of pure mana returned to pure mana. Wizard forced the mana towards Yukko.

The mana wasn’t enough to cast something as grand as Wizard’s [Za Warudo], which managed to allow him to move in an ended story. Wizard saw it as his final will. He didn’t know if Yukko could use the mana, but, he wanted to leave something behind. He is already dead, after all.

“And this is the second time.” Wizard’s mad grin lit up his face as he turned. He missed Yukko’s body begin to pulse bright yellow.

Kumagawa charged, screws in hand, Wizard grasped his screws with his palms. Dead, numb to the pain as the screws fixed themselves through his palms, locked in a pushing match against an opponent of equal strength.

Kumagawa stepped back, freeing his screws, he launched a flurry of attacks as Wizard punched wildly. Wizard’s body churned off pieces, one by one, screws of meat hit the ground.

Kumagawa overwhelmed Wizard. Wizard’s combat ability, even with [Bookmaker] raising his level to Kumagawa’s, couldn’t win against a battle manga character. Screw by screw, Wizard’s body resolved itself into strewn bits across the white expanse.

Kumagawa admired his handiwork. He won. Kumagawa, too, missed Yukko pulsing bright yellow behind him. Kumagawa searched for the apron, finding it covered in blood, he shrugged, hefting a screw, he decided to finish the other girl off. It looked like he would win, this time… until he saw Yukko.

「Oh, it’s the part where the hero’s sacrifice has meaning, because heroic sacrifice is supposed to be important。Not this again。」Kumagawa’s groaned, not stopping his attack. A losing villain still has to put effort in, to his bitter ending.

Kumagawa’s screw reached Yukko’s throat. Her clothes changed to a red hood. Her new costume: Little Red Riding Hood. A role she took up in her source work, a game, activated.

Solely in Yukko’s game, there was a special mechanic. It would allow her, just this once, to surpass the ended story’s freeze.

The special mechanic called ‘Climax Act’. By definition, a Climax is before a story ends. With the extra mana from Wizard’s sword, her Climax Act activated to defend the rules of her own story’s existence. A miracle only brought about by the complexities of her creation For the duration of a climax, Yukko would be able to move.

The screw hit Yukko’s neck.

「Bullshit。」Kumagawa grinned, he expected bullshit.

Yukko’s neck remained white and pure. Kumagawa heard a thunderous growl, turning as Yukko dashed away in fear. A giant dark wolf, titanic, occluded the white in front of him. The Big Bad Wolf opened her jaws, reaching down, munching on Kumagawa like dried jerky.

Two screws and an empty gakuran fell to the white below. The Big Bad Wolf disappeared. Yukko herself froze. Her climax ended.
