Chapter 63: Hopeful Aspirations

Chapter 63: Hopeful Aspirations

As Galina strolled the building and talked with who she could talk to. Everything became clearer and clearer to her.

Like others, she had no clue about the upheavals of the comic book industry but now that she got acquainted with it, her worldviews were widened.

It turned out that Mr. Creed wasn't just the only one with high value in the Creeds, the little one called Alex had a much more frightening potential to be tapped.

She hadn't heard of Creed Comics before but she did have some passing knowledge of its works.

Tailed boy, pizza Turtles, and cool lion prince were popular phrases floating about in Milla's school after all. She didn't care for the comics but she knew that it could be another Mickey Mouse craze that Americans are known for.

It was hard to imagine that it all came from a boy that she would be looking after.

If Galina's over-the-top predictions and connections are right, the Creeds could very well be on their way to following the track of a certain famous family surname.

As for Milla, she also strolled the comic booking hallways along with her mother.

Unlike opportunity-overwhelmed Miss Galina, Milla was much more breezy in her explorations.

She finally got somewhat of a clear understanding of what was happening and she marveled at it.

She had not much clue about the people on the first floor but she liked what was happening on the second floor.

Milla had a glimpse of these drawn stories from her classmates and it was exciting to know the process of how they are being made.

It also helped that the people working on the job were quite accomodating to her.

There is also the important note that she is the little boss's friend that aided in their acceptance of her.

If it was another kid hounding them questions as they worked, they would have long shooed them off to wherever household their curiosities had spawned them.

Unbeknownst to little Milla, her derogatory childishness and normal naivete was an unexpected comfort for the Creed employees.

From what she heard, it involves her presence that healed their mentalities and cementing their corrected views on the normalities of the world.

Friend Alex or little boss as they call it was way too abnormal. They were exposed to his maturity for too long that they assumed every kid was as scary as him.

They were even looking forward to little Milla's possible returns to this workplace.

It had to be said that being able to see little boss every day and not on a Saturday basis could take getting used to.

This book is hosted on another platform. Read the official version and support the author's work.

Perhaps her presence could mellow their adjustment period to be a balance between the little boss's inviolable seriousness and his little Ms. friend's childish normality.

Although Creed Comics has a lot of excitement for newcomers that want to explore the intricacies of a comic book company, it also isn't expansive enough so the novelty wore off after a while.

The office workers were working their jobs by their tables and the artists were drawing and coloring page after page.

The Jovovich duo finally got their fill and as they got acquainted with what they had thrown themselves into.

Miss Galina had to travel outside for her research at the new concepts she had come across while Milla opted to stay to start a much more interesting summer for herself.

Of course, her mother had no complaints as she wanted for her daughter to enrich her friendship with the little Creed, now more than ever.

Galina was then off to consult who she could consult and prepare an appropriate response for her and Milica.

Milla was thus enjoying the back and forth between the floors and taking in the environment that her new friend was easily drifting in.

Unlike her past boring summer times of just finding something of interest in the house, spending it in a building filled with people is much more fun.

It was a bonus that the place was something that package drawn entertainment, so she has a lot of fun comic books to read through.

Fortunately that some employees had kept their issue copies that were the virtue of employee benefit, thus Milla had the entire Creed Comic collection to choose from like she would from a library.

She would probably earn the envy of the nerds if they knew about how easy she had it with acquiring the collectibles they worked hard on.

Every issue wasn't free for the nerds as they had to work their way for their allowance.

It also added to their efforts that Creed Comic issues was a sought-after item and they had to worm their way to comic book stores in every new comic book day.

She also has the unparalleled advantage of being able to know the unpublicized issues as long as she knew who to ask.

Whatever the case that the nerds had to go through, Milla had no idea and she didn't have to care.

She had her fun and was hooked to the amazing picture stories as much as the employees that had become fans of little boss Alexander's creativity.

As for Alexander himself, he had much more responsibilities to take account for.

Ever since the he had delegated them with creative capabilities, the arguing incidents flare up quite often now and then.

Of course, it was interesting to see them quarrel about using this panel design over the other but it needed to be settled quickly.

That is when Alexander steps up and does the decision for them.

Alexander was quite vexed with these frequent flare-ups but it shouldn't be too long until they've honed themselves and become handy subordinates with more independent sensibilities.

One step at a time as they say and the appointment of Mr. 1, Ms. 2, Mr. 3, Ms. 4, and Mr. 5 was his solution to also subdivide the editorial responsibilities.

In his hopeful aspirations, these employees had better get used to his decision-making methods and be emulate them as they moved forward as a company.

The 50 art people were just the first practice and first step for his management abilities after all.

They are the first wave to hone himself for what is about to come. After he has made them into elites, the recruitments would follow.

If they thought that getting swamped with 3 comic titles was already a challenge, then Alexander would probably give them a rude awakening when they see his ambitious goals for the future.

Their numbers would flare up and hopefully, his comic book ideology would be passed from the original 50 to the new recruits.

Alexander had doubts about being able to build a graphic novel empire like Japan's manga industry had been in the past-future.

All he knows is that he would spearhead such an undertaking and having capable subordinates is a necessity for it to happen.

Either way, the days would go on and the ideal comic book company would eventually come into fruition.

Him and his employees were slowly accumulating skills and experience to methodically level up to the heights that he had set up.

Summer break came as a timely necessity to shape these people up and hone the group's abilities.
