The first floor was already in its finishing touches as there wasn't much heavy work to be done by now.
"The first floor is really well done, grandpa. But why the over beautification of all of it though?"
"Well..." The old Creed could only come clean. "The entire place's elevator system is still damaged, so I had to pretty up the first floor. That is in the case that I might be doing my work here for a while."
Alexander could feel amused at the fact that the old boss might be stuck on the first floor of his company while also feeling troubled as his old grandfather might be overexerting himself.
"Shall we head for the upper floors then?" Sullivan asked as he saw Alex already sated with all that they've inspected. Old Creed was not minding much of his old bones as he was quite excited to show off what he has planningly accomplished.
Thus, the duo went on as they shuffled through the handymen moving stuff here and about.
----
As soon as they finished the first flight of stairs, the whole second floor was in sight and Alexander was already clued in with what company was going to be stationed here.
Of course, the second floor of the new headquarters would follow the same allocation of the old headquarters.
Creed Comics is mostly the heart of every company venture that is popping and emerging after all.
The planned expansions for 1985 weren't just for show. It was an expansion of comic titles to play with, which meant that extra manpower and talent were needed.
50 people weren't going to cut it and so was the previous crampedness. As such, doubling was needed and the new HQ could afford just that and even more.
The preparation wasn't even that much of a complication as the drawing tables and ten-man space allocations were being met.
Since the second floor is mostly where the previous news writers and editors huddled up before, re-using and rearranging their place was just a matter of taste and time.
In essence, the floor was no longer about gossip, non-fiction, columns, and articles. It was now about panels, pages, inking, coloring, and fictional storytelling.
Old Sullivan added on as he pointed towards the comic-making arrangements. "I've had the people work up the place multiply what you've done at the old place. Still, it's in your power to change it as you please."
"Since I'll be working with a lot of new people, I might change up the supply standby area." Alexander commented. "However, the ten-man custom setting of the tables should be enough with what I am going for."
"There is one thing that's bothering me though." He went on as he got the Old Creed's attention. "And that is the fact that my publicators, mailers, advertisers, legalities, and all that seem to not have their stations."
The entire spacious second floor was scarily all about comic book making that it could fill about 200 comic artists or so. It was great but how could Creed Comics be Creed Comics without all the company management team.

Sullivan knew what his grandson meant. "Not to worry about that as they have their own stations at the 5th floor or so."
Alexander finally got what his grandfather was going for and he could only say. "Does that mean that most of the floors are just mainly for the creative work and you decided to combine all the management factors into one working station?"
"There's that as a lot of redundancies are bound to happen if we station those departmental talents in every different industried company that we have." Sullivan gave his quite reasonable rationale. "But there are still special stations I've set up and it's best that we move on to the upper floors for you to know what I mean.
Alexander could not say no to that as he was now quite looking forward to it.
-------
The simple single-focusedness of the Comics floor could not be found on the third floor as it is a hybrid base of operations.
This is where the Creed Toys creative team would come along... along with another merchandising venture they'd hope to tackle. It was still a debate between Creed Clothings, Creed Costumes, or just Creed Merchandise but the general direction of the company could be seen from there.
The first iteration of the toy designs have been made in a humble cafeteria after all and it was already a significant improvement to have a place of their own.
The entire third floor was about peripheral integration as it was mostly concerned with the clothes and other merchandising factors of Creed franchises.
There should also be the molding grunt work for the toys and cloth designing that the company should hopefully tackle before the next costume upsurge of the year.
There is even a design station that is meant to come up with designs that could be in collaboration with established product makers. The theme was merchandise authorization and followed the Leisure Concepts way of idea-making while the authorized companies only need to make it happen.
There is even a planned semi-production testing area of Creed Toys and Creed Clothings. It had pretty much been compounded into this particular which should be enough and better than what it had been.
Either way, toys, clothes, and overall merchandise have been stuffed up in that single floor and would most likely lead to conducive synergy when it is done right.
The third floor's relative closeness to Creed Comics is also one of the biggest reasons as to why they are placed there.
Finally, old Sullivan's goal was becoming clear to Alexander and it became even more so as they reached the higher numbered floors.
-----
Of course, right above the merch companies is the fourth floor and it is where Creed Pictures would reside.
Film production companies aren't exactly that much of a space taker as most of their operation is done outside. Renting studios is the way that most film companies would.
Most film companies are even just bogus companies with only a handful of people being needed to form it. Even the rest of the filming crews are just temporary hires that could be discarded when needed.
Creed Pictures isn't at the level of the Major 7 after all and BttF had practically used up the staff in the onsite filmings.
In any case, the fourth floor would be ready by the time they come back. Storyboard areas and film pre-production rooms are already set to be in the renovation plans.
Top Gun and the rest of the future Creed films could very well be laid out and deliberated on this very floor.
----
The fifth and sixth floor was the culmination of everything as it is where the sectorial operations work of the companies would be happening.
Advertising, market research, legal work, publication work, market and outside correspondence, and the rest of what makes a company tick.
Ms. Marker, Mr. Advertiser, Ms. Mail, Mr. Legalities, and the rest could very well be stationed here.
This is where old Sullivan and little boss Alexander would oversee the company management and adjust things accordingly as they see fit.
It was a multi-management of multiple companies in a single multi-functional compound.
Either way, business savvy Sullivan is on a roll and looking forward to piecing all the puzzles together to make the messy hybrid into a cohesive and functional whole.
Even the new headquarters itself was an adventure to look forward to and it would be quite the spectacle to finally see the amazing achievements that could be found at the end of it.
