Alexander Creed: Re-Life
Chapter 226: Premiere's Main Event!

Chapter 226: Premiere's Main Event!

"Alex, are you alright?" Old Sullivan inquired. Noting how his grandson was rubbing his eyelids and the noticeable uncomfortability.

"I am grandpa. Just had to process things." Alexander reasoned with that. Nobody needed to know that he had a minor headache or his chaos-fogged eyes.

"You don't need to exhaust your brain by trying to remember those folks we just met. Most of them are a bit underwhelming." Old Sullivan could only advise. "Just call them Mr. Businessman 1 to Infinity like you always have."

Well, that was what he did. Only that he took it a bit too far though. Being a Batman-y was fun but Alexander felt that doing it once was good enough.

Putting game-like profiles was way too overkill and he needn't need to go that far any further. At least, he knew to what extent his special brain can take things.

"Why did we waste this little pre-screening time mingling with them then?" Alexander could only ask to not have the topic stay unto his abnormality. "Shouldn't we have taken the time to talk with all the Hollywood folks? A lot of them seemed interested in us as well. One of them seemed hostile-r than he should be."

"Well, a lot of business-minded people joined in the fun, so someone from this premiere had to deal with them." The Old Creed was an advocate for business socializing but he had minimalized practicality as well.

"Also, I'll give you a note on who among those we met are our investors." Of course, Old Sullivan wanted to keep his grandson in the loop on who was in his circle already. "They're good friends and meeting you now meant that my setup is complete for my envy and heart-stopping bomb. I can't wait to see their shock!"

Alexander had already tuned himself out of his grandfather's weird fixation on showering from the envy of his associates.

"As for these Hollywood folks, it's best that Robert and Bob take the helm for now." Old Sullivan had the virtue of appropriation. Giving the duo the spotlight in their industry was the best bonus. "Besides there's still time after the film showing and there's an afterparty where I can dive deeper into Hollywood mixing. This corporate crowd would be gone by then."

Alexander understood that rationale as well. "Shall we head to our seats now then?"

"Haha. I'm excited about the film as well." Old Sullivan was on board with that idea.

This was not time for their extended Creed huddles after all. As such, they headed for their designated seats.

It was not within the vanity pool of seats where all the Hollywood personalities were convened. In any case, it was fitting and special enough for Creed Pictures' status as the film producer.

Of course, there were the Jovovich girls and Miss Cox whose seats were adjacent and in a lane with them. It was best to watch the movie with acquaintances so that the experience be a bit more enjoyable.

-------

Well, with the Creeds settled on their seats, the Hollywood personalities had their fair share of seat talks.

"It's a shame that Mr. Sullivan is busy with his own set of crowds." Spielberg lamented.

"It can't be helped. I'm just a director and there needs to be someone from us who should give face to those corporate people." Zemeckis wryly remarked. "I'll be sure to facilitate your meeting at a more favorable time. Maybe after the film."

"After the film it is." Spielberg agreed. "I can't wait about what you guys have in store for us."

The Hollywood seating crowd always had the tradition and hidden bias to group important people together so a lot of elites can hear things as long they're up for it.

Of course, since their seatings were not too far apart, a trio of Cameron, Schwarzenegger, and Stallone was having their own bouts of discussion.

"It seems that it's not only us that has something to talk to with the Mr. Creed." Cameron hummed from what he eavesdropped on. He had no clue what Spielberg's intent was but he wagered it was not too far from movies. "It looks like I have to depend on you, Sylvestre."

"Why me?" Stallone was confused. "I thought that the Rambo favor was just to be your entourage of sorts in this premiere. It is just to buff your prospects up so that you can settle a deal with Creed Pictures."

"Well, Spielberg might be my competition, so you have to step up to the occasion." Cameron explained. "Creed Pictures may not be much but its adjacent company... Creed Comics has a lot of promise."

"What do you think of a movie idea where you fight an alien hunter? It's not a rip-off of Ridley's Aliens but a skilled Predator that wowed the masses already." Cameron enticed. "How do you think about riding a car? That's just a given for you action stars... but what if said car can transform into a robot and you also have to fight with other transforming car robots as well."

"What do you think about fighting a monkey-tailed boy in a quest to find seven Dragonballs that can grant any wish?"

"What do you think about being a police officer in futuristic Detroit? You'd be blown up, survive, and be experimented on as the first cyborg police enforcer to exist." Cameron had pretty much become a Creed fan at some point and had grown ever since.

"I get what you mean but why do I have to be the only one to step up?" Stallone felt the man's enthusiasm was too much but he also has his confusion. "Don't you also have Arnie here backing you."

"Well... he heard that Creed Pictures is from San Fernando Valley so... you know..." Schwarzenegger gave his rival a look that insinuated stuff. It was just fun to rib the guy about his dark past.

"Geesh! I don't know people in that valley that much. It was one time and isn't even part of that industry!" Stallone finally got the message.

Schwarzenegger chuckled while Cameron was thinking of other ways now.

Since two of the trio were big guys and had deep engraving voices, how could the others in the vicinity not pay attention to what they're doing?

"Robert, what does Mr. Creed have that got Cameron riled up?" Spielberg was curious now. "I mean those film pitches were great and all but what does Creed Pictures have to do with it?"

"Err..." Zemeckis felt that it was not his place to divulge stuff, so he had to go about it euphemistically... at least. "Mr. Creed and Creed Pictures is not far from those film ideas. You remember that I told you that there was a special person I wanted you to meet right?"

"Yeah." Lucas was intrigued now as well.

"Well..." Zemeckis whispered a bit. "...look at where Mr. Creed is at and notice the handsome little guy beside him."

Those who heard his whisper looked and noticed. "Isn't that his grandson or something? What does that have to do with things?"

"Well..." Zemeckis found it really hard to contain such explosive information. "...that grandson is Back to the Future's prime screenwriter."

""Eh!"" Spielberg and Lucas were processing things, so did the rest that heard the reveal. "What do you mean?! There's an Alex Creed on the film itinerary but..."

"He meant what he mean. Everyone at BttF production can attest." Gale joined in the fun of shocking people. "The boy's the reason in the first place that this film is way more solid than our shelved concept... the boy's even the one who made the sequels!"

"I tell you..." Zemeckis added. "... the boy's picture books are insane! So are his comic books!"

"Comic books?!" Cameron was eavesdropping as always given that they eavesdropped on them as well.

"Yes... you should know that Creed Pictures and Creed Comics are part of one mold but..." Zemeckis found it fun to steal old Mr. Creed's shock bomb thunder. "... it isn't Mr. Creed that's managing Creed Comics..."

"Do you mean...!" Cameron remembered the mysterious and popular creator. "That boy is...!!!"

""Shh!!!"" Zemeckis and Gale found tacitness and had their index finger against their lips.

Right in time as well. Since the murmur of the rest of the crowd quieted down with the theater lights dimmed and the light of the film projection replacing the lights.

Back to the Future officially started while everyone was ruminating Zemeckis on the shocking and unfinished reveal!

-----

Just as how the theater dimmed and lit up again...

The projector darkened some more as an empty dark space was shown...

A grand rhythm piked up as a blinding sun lit everything and illuminate everyone some more...

That state didn't last long though as a much grander rhythm popped up... this time, the blinding sun was enclosed by darkness.

In the alternation and balance of light and dark, "Creed Pictures" appeared and brought a picturesque scene.

Creed Picture finally debuted with a darkened sun behind it.

----

In any case, the pre-film was set and it was also finally time for Back to the Future to take the stage! It was finally the premiere's main event!
