Alexander already has movie schemes in his head but he had to think of a clever way to influence his grandfather while keeping his temporal soul a secret.
------
The birthday dinner ended with old Sullivan having peace of mind in a lot of things.
Alex was changing for the better. The boy had pretty much let him let go of his guilt and his mistakes on a lot of things.
Now, all Sullivan had to do was establish and grow his business, so his grandson wouldn't be as troubled as he had been in his long life.
After all, earning fortunes isn't just about enriching oneself but also ensuring his future generation.
-------
Alexander headed to bed after having his bath and hygiene taken care of.
Fortunately, the sogginess only took up one side of the bed and he could still relax and ruminate about his grandfather's film plans.
As far as Alexander knows of his family history, Sullivan Creed is a master in business and everything Alexander knew about capitalism and scheming came from the old man's teachings and collected books.
------
Sullivan Creed was of pure British roots and had an enviable business in the English market.
He started a business with his wife Tina and was a considerably successful Englishman in his younger years.
Tina Creed sadly passed with the birth of his son but Sullivan weathered through it as a strong widower with conviction.
Sullivan flourished, made friends, and inevitably made enemies.
Having provoked some snobbish nobleman, his business was taken over because it was unjustly justified by those with power and connections.
Fed up with the indiscriminate bullying and wanton abuse of power in his country, Sullivan was left with no choice but to migrate to another place together with his son, the young Oscar.
Just like any other, he chose America. The so-called land of opportunity.
His nationality, along with his lack of connections, made their stay unfruitful for many years. It was impossible to thrive and progress with everyone being extremely xenophobic.
It did not help his cause that wars and disagreements were still prevalent throughout portions of the world.
Sullivan's business abilities were rendered useless as there was a huge barrier of entry that he wasn't able to overcome.
He made do with working with what job he was offered with and adapted himself to have a stable source income to support his son.
Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
It took quite a few miles on the road to reach that point. Strangely enough, the business-savvy Sullivan did not pillar himself with his capitalistic profession but by doing menial jobs in Hollywood
Specifically, in film-making, and by being part of film production crews.
Just as unknown, poor, but pretty people became rich via stardom, Sullivan had a stabler development in the behind-the-scenes of film sets. He translated his business acumen and made it work with film.
He had learned his lessons well and grew his connections in the entertainment industry. Becoming a relatively successful budget manager and planner with his talent. Eventually landing jobs as an assistant director in some movies.
With the way things are going, it was only a matter of time for him to jump into being a director.
Sullivan had much higher goals and that was to become a producer and eventually be back to his businessman route as a considerable power in a true blue production company.
Unfortunately, history repeats itself. Sullivan made enemies again and became squeezed out of the industry before he could kickstart his goals.
Sullivan had no choice but to go with his contingency. This time, it was not to migrate to another country but to make use of what he accumulated in all those years.
Using his connections and business mind, he became a medium for film production equipments. Instead of selling and leasing to established companies, he found his customers in the chaotic and messy independent circle.
When he found out that the independent circle had a much lower market than expected resulting in much lower earnings, Sullivan eventually found his perfect garden.
San Fernando Valley was just as productive or even more than Hollywood. Which meant that the market for film equipment was much more impressive.
He also sold toys to diversify and serve as a font to hide the real adult toys they were selling
Hence, the Creed family eventually settled in the area. Sullivan lived out his time as the businessman he once was, albeit much less impressive than what he was used to.
Branching off to porn films isn't anything compared to the clothes he had previously sold.
His son was also on his way off to starting his family with an American beauty. Thus, Alexander was born and Sullivan became a happy grandpa with a cute grandson.
The incident occurred and Alexander was left in his care. It was at this time that Sullivan willed himself to move from his stable income to leave a much more decent legacy to his grandson.
-------
Alexander remembered how his grandfather faced the complexities of Hollywood once again, only to achieve middling results.
After Creed Pictures' disastrous film debut in the theaters, the rest of the produced film was direct to the videotape market.
His grandpa was back to his old business module. Only this time, it was feature films that he was distributing and not the shoddy porn it had been.
Time passed and Sullivan's passing came. Alexander was set to inherit the business but opted to sell it as it was a destructive year for him.
He was spiraling from being left alone in the world and managing a film company wasn't the best way to cope.
Perhaps the guilt of selling what his grandfather worked so hard for had gotten over him as he used his investment riches to try and take stuff back.
Unfortunately, it was too late as Creed Pictures was dispersed and bankrupt due to mismanagement.
Alexander was still able to keep the house though and he used his money to procure the previous toy shop.
With a little tinkering and blending of his collective personality, the CREED of the future was born.
The CREED and the house is what were left to cherish his and his grandfather's memories and regrets.
-------
"I have a new life with a fearsome advantage. There is no way things would go as bleak and melodramatic as it had been." Alexander muttered as a vow to change everything he failed to have done.
Movie memories were still fresh and ripe for the picking in his mind. Although only the highlights and memorable moments were registering, it wouldn't be too hard to refit them to his needs.
"If my grandpa was struggling within the videotape market, I'll change that by making his production company the best IP monster that major studios could only hope to share a cake with." Alexander vowed again but he slowly dozed off as any tired 9-year-old would.
It would be too late for people to realize that the boy had already pirated the glories that they would have had with his dozing vows.
