You may think that the Hub token was way too valuable a reward to just had out so easily but it was honestly not. The reason I say this was because it was permanently stuck here, I couldn't take the Hub it created with me when I left Orre eventually. Sure it was an amazing reward for someone looking to settle down but for a wanderer like me it was only situationally useful. It was only because my goal in Orre didn't have me constantly on the road that I was even given the thing if I had to guess.-
The hub was literally just going to be my base of operations while I was in Orre researching the secret of this region and after that it would basically get abandoned for years on end as I traveled the rest of the world. Like I said the reward was only valuable situationally. Anyway I left the back door of the building and was impressed at what I saw. The original oasis had been weeded, purified and ordered nice and neatly behind the building with the organic matter having been converted to fertile soil suitable for planting.-
'Is this what the description meant by self sustainability? I suppose that this would indeed count as with the soil as it is and the abundance of life force in the air crops would grow bountifully and quickly.' I thought amused. I wasted no time planting five of my best berries and some vegetables and herbs that I regularly used. The pond of the oasis was the best part though as it was crystal clear and cool to the touch. All in all I was quite satisfied with the Hub and now it was time to head over to the other settlements and get furnishing for my new base.-
"So I'm going to head over to either Pyrite or Phenac with Rune and Hades but does anyone else want to go or will you all stay here for now with the little one?" I asked my pokemon that were lounging about. A few minutes later I was flying over the desert on Rune with Hades keystone in my pocket and Tank flying beside us. Yani, Vulcan and Gaia had chosen to stay at the Hub with the little one that was besides himself playing in the pond.-
I looked at my map before we left and decided that Phenac was closer to the Hub and also more likely to be able to tell me where I could get some furniture due to the "cities" economy being the best in the region from my information. I emphasized the word city because despite being called that it didn't count as one by league standards as it only had a population of about five hundred. It was a town just like every other place in the region. Unlike I had gotten used to in Hoenn, Phenac didn't have a fence or wall to keep out wild pokemon that was well guarded but had three entrances that didn't even have gates much less guards.-
The wall was made simply to keep the desert sand out of the place and served literally no other purpose. I was rather confused to find a person battling out in the open at the cities main entrance and for the losers to flee on a weird truck looking thing. It was only after the squirming sack got opened and a disheveled young woman with blue eyes and red hair came out that I realized that those were kidnappers.-

'If I leave now I can still catch up to those two but should I really get involved in this matter?' I pondered not noticing the woman staring at me in confusion and shock. "Are you a pokemon of some sort?" she asked curiously while her new silver haired rescuer looked at me cautiously. His outfit was odd as he had a blue trench coat and black pants while the left arm of his coat appeared to be a strange device of some sort. Don't get me wrong he looked cool as hell but something about him bothered me.-
Turning away from the man i focused on the girl who was rather impatiently waiting for an answer to her question. "I am not a pokemon. Honestly not sure why you would think that to begin with." I said calmly. "Well you've got this wild sort of aura around you and stuff and I've only seen certain pokemon recently with something similar but theirs is all dark and twisted feeling unlike yours that feels more natural." she said honestly. This caught me off guard and extending my aura senses I checked the girl and discovered that she was naturally gifted in aura arts which had manifested as this "sight" she was talking about.-
"Oh now this truly is a rare treat, you are a natural aura master but clearly you don't know what that is. Your kind are quite rare you know and you are even young enough to receive formal training as well. But to explain simply I am an aura master and what you are seeing is the energy that I naturally radiate." I said with a friendly smile. "Alexander Drake but I go by Alex , a pleasure to make your acquaintance." I said holding out a hand for her to shake.-
"Rui, likewise!" the girl said excitedly as she took my hand. In that brief moment I send a burst of aura into her through this skin contact to fully awaken her gift that was incomplete. Her own aura felt mine and roared to life to reject it which made her flinch and move away frightened. "Not to worry I merely just awakened your gift fully is all, you are welcome by the way." I said with a chuckle and she looked around in awe no doubt seeing all the aura around her at the moment.-
Turning the the silver haired guy I smiled in appreciation as he was still cautious and refused to move his hand away from his pokeballs. "Now what of you? I caught the tail end of that whole event with those two and your rescue of miss Rui here but you've yet to introduce yourself." I said casually. "Wes, What is someone like you doing in Orre?" he asked seriously. "Hmm? Do you know who I am? I was under the impression that this region lacked many sources of information about the outside, is this not correct?" I asked curiously.-
"No that's right but all my instincts are telling me you are a horrifyingly powerful trainer, people like you don't just show up here." he said sternly and I understood his wariness. More likely than not he simply thought of me as a possible threat and was treating me as such. "I heard about this regions unusual problem with it not having any local pokemon and felt like seeing if I could riddle out the reason why. Consider me here on vacation if you would. I also suggest getting your hostility under control as one of my pokemon doesn't take kindly to that sort of thing." I said honestly and as if to prove my point Hades manifested a baleful eye glaring at him.
