Nathan one last time hugged everyone then bid his farewell, before he walked towards Hogwarts express pushing his cart with a giddy expression. It takes him a few minutes to notice Lizzy's presence beside him, who is currently following him to the Express in what Nathan would identify as leisure pace, only much more leisure pace than he would be comfortable with. " Why are you following me? Don't you have a portkey to pick?" Ethan asked, puzzled.

Lizzy didn't answer him but threw a casual glance at him then went back to what she was doing earlier, looking at the students and their parents with slightly emotional eyes. Nathan frowned seeing this but he kept quiet, when he entered the train Lizzy helped him to heave his things into the train even carrying his trunk after him.

Which was a completely unnecessary thing to do. Because the trunk was already put on a feather light charm by his grandpa, it barely weighed anything. But the problem is why is she carrying it for him? What is she planning on doing inside the train compartment? Looking for a compartment?

Besides, he didn't want to embarrass himself in front of his fellow students. Especially when he was perfectly capable of carrying his things and easily finding a compartment. Then why does she come all the way to finding a compartment " Lizzy, what exactly are you trying to do? I already said I can manage it on my own! ... Honestly it wasn't surprising if you think about it, Lizzy was little more than three years older and currently in her fifth year at Beauxbatons. Both of them didn't notice this when they entered. Instead of a rack it was placed under the seat. " I guess it was a girl, it wasn't difficult to pursue them. Hmm I wonder!"

Nathan became more and more nervous when he heard her mumblings. He knew she was trying to agitate him and wouldn't embarrass him in front of a stranger but he pulled a harmless prank last night. She was annoyed by that.

" Alright then, it's time. You have to write me at least weekly twice-"

" If I remember correctly I did write to you two times a week and you insisted on writing to you three times which sometimes I did, didn't I?" Nathan panicked the more she talked there is more chance for the first year girl to return.

"Okay two times alright! I'm not as smart as you so don't push me. I heard there will be lot of assignments grandpa said and-"

" That's fine" with that she bent down dragged him into a tight hug then showered him with kisses all over his face the compartment door slide open revealing two girls as they froze on the door " Take care, brat "

Nathan's face was on fire and tried his best to not to look at the newcomers he heard Lizzy's warm voice " Hey! are you two first years. I'm Lizzy, that kid's sister. Do you want my help? " she pointedly looked at the trunk in one of the girls ' hands.

"Please" Lizzy swiftly placed it beside Nathan's and turned to the second one " If I'm not mistaken this trunk is yours am I right? " If you want I can place yours too, " the girl once again nodded.

After placing second trunk she flashed them a smile from the corner of her eyes she noticed flustered looking Nathan and addressed the girls " If you don't mind let my brother sit here will you and take care of him during the journey if you can "

*Crack * There was a blue sparkle of Magic in the compartment the three girls turned to look at the boy. Who now drew his wand shaking like a crazy "Oops!" Lizzy dashed out yelling "Haha See you next month chili "

The compartment door dragged shut, silence filled the compartment, the three of them standing there awkwardly. " I-if you don't mind, Can I stay in this compartment " It was Nathan who broke that awkward silence as he inclined his head towards the girl who first got into this compartment.

"S-sure" the girl stuttered, also awkward because of the situation " Thanks! Your sister was nice enough to help us with our trunk " she said Conversationally as if trying to ease the atmosphere.

"Yeah!" he sighed, it did help lighten up the atmosphere. He returned to his seat which was near the window where he could see his family easily and clearly.

"Come on take a seat " the girl addressed the newcomer she brought with her. But Nathan doubted whether they knew each other before today.

' Wow, what a cute boy ' the new girl thought.

' It was quite funny...but he was very cute though' the first girl thought. Nathan's face colored slightly as his telepathy picked up some of their thoughts.

' At least they didn't think I was a baby or something ' he really didn't want someone to see him in such a light.

" Um, Hey we didn't introduce ourselves, it's nice to meet you two. I'm Kate Bell, first year " The first girl to take the initiative.

Standing there he watched them as he could no longer see them with a sigh he went back to his compartment. There was another girl and boy in the compartment and they both greeted him politely.

"It's Marcus Belby, please call me Mark, " a bubbly boy introduced himself.

"Hello, I'm Scarlett Lympshan" the girl curtly introduced herself.

"Thank you Nathan " another quiet voice spoke to him. Artemis got up from his seat and went to sit up with the other two girls.

" It's alright, I couldn't see my family from the window anyway " he sat on his back, smiled at her and apologized to the other two and properly introduced himself.

"Nathan...I'm sorry if my words offended you. I don't mean it like that " Kate Bell hesitantly spoke.

" I know, thanks for your words " he smiled at her. Then Nathan changed his topic and asked the other four " Hey! Should we expect anyone else to join us? "

While everyone looked at one another It was Lympshan who spoke up "I didn't think we have to share our compartment with another first year "

Seeing the other four's confused expression she elaborated further "You see, not all of them comfortable with traveling on our own or sit with strangers so they stick to their friends in upper years sometimes even prefects help this kids "

"OH, I don't think I can see myself ever doing it. I mean those older students wouldn't care about a lonely first year would they? Kate asked, a little nervous.

"Hehe, not all of them are bad, I know Slytherin allows their acquaintance to their compartment. First years could learn a lot of things from older students " Scarlett commented she didn't seem to be lying.

"No way Slytherin students are that accommodating right? I heard they are kind of... Um bullies" Kate blurted out.

"Yeah I don't think Slytherin students show compassion and caring to first years " Marcus seconded it seems he also doesn't think it was possible.
