Soaring Dragon Continent
Some men came to take Chang Mo away from the stage. The scene that he caused, caused a lot of attention to go his way. Most of the spectators had seen the giant flame that burst out from his body. This easily attracted their attention.
The females disciples were stiff. A few seconds ago they were just talking about Chang Mo, but now he proved them all wrong. Not to mention his strength was greater than what they expected.
“I knew he would win. It’s to be expected since his father is Chang Mu.”
“I’m glad I wasn’t one of the stupid females who called him trash. Now that they are out of the way, less competition for me.”
The females who didn’t say anything about Chang Mo were happy. These females who only wanted him because of his parents and his cultivation were now out of the way. The ones who didn’t say anything were the ones who were really after him. They knew that Chang Mo would remember who didn’t say anything. He would reward them greatly in the future.
The ones who said something couldn’t even say anything. They were in the wrong. Just because Chang Mo was getting tossed around and didn’t use any martial skill didn’t mean he was trash. If anything, he was playing them for a fool! He pretended not to know anything so he could weed out those who only wanted him for his standing.
These females felt stupid at this moment. Now that they gave him a slap to the face, they won’t have a chance to get at him in the future. They could only feel sad about what happened. But who would pity them? They did it to theirselves.
In the stands where the spectators were, everyone was silent. It was so quiet that if a needle dropped you would be able to hear it. Even the noise in the other arenas couldn’t be heard. To them, it felt as time stopped.
They had to take in everything that happened. Chang Mo who they thought was only said to be a genius was getting beat. He had no use of martial skills, and was even told to kowtow. His opponent gave him no face at all and didn’t even care for his status. Thus they went along with him and agreed to what the crowd as saying. However Chang Mo surprised them all. He killed someone four levels above his cultivation in one move. One move! Such a person shouldn’t be considered trash at all. If anything he was a trophy that needed to be seen by everyone. Polished until it shined. His strength was out of this world. After witnessing what happened today, they would no longer question Chang Chi. When he told them a peerless genius blessed by the heavens, he really meant it. For someone to beat someone else four levels above them, if you weren’t blessed by the heavens, then what were you?
Out of all the people who were surprised by Chang Mo’s display, he would be the most surprised. It wasn’t him, he didn’t do anything. Sure, it was his body moving, but it wasn’t him moving it. It felt as if it was moving by itself.
When the man died, no one even cared. Even his school said not one word about his death. He gave Chang Mo no face even though his standing was higher than his own. He even humiliated Chang Mo in front of so many people. If he didn’t die after all of that, he could be considered blessed under the heavens.

A woman with a black veil was seated on a chair away from everyone else. She was greatly shocked, shocked enough that tears flowed from her eyes. She was none other than Yan Xiang.
She knew that he couldn’t learn martial arts. She knew that it saddened him because of that. However she could do nothing about it. She always wanted him to go on a different path from his father, she didn’t want him to cultivate. However that changed after she got Chang Mu’s message.
Yan Xiang thought about it deeply and what he was trying to tell her. For her to part from Chang Mu would cause her to lose something close to her. If she actually took that step forward and forgot about him, what would she do? Finding someone else who is stronger and wiser than Chang Mu? Such a man didn’t exist.
Yan Xiang decided after thinking about it all night. If such a man didn’t exist, she would help create one. She would love her son and help him reach Immortality. Even if it wasn’t the love of the opposite sex, it would be the motherly love he never got. The motherly love that he deserved.
Now that he released a martial skill, the things she previously thought about him disappeared. She didn’t know how he learned such a skill or where he learned it from, but she was happy. Her happiness came deeply from her heart. ‘Mu’er, our child is growing up. I’ll make him the man you wanted to me.’ She told herself as she wiped the tears from her eyes.
----
A fine young woman wearing a grey robe with a white veil over her face headed onto the stage. She released the her profound aura, letting her opponent know she was at the eight Dao realm.
This young woman was Li Haun. She was in group A, which was filled with people at the peak of the Dao realm or early staged Mystic realm disciples.
When she arrived here, there were a few women wearing veils, but not many. Most females who wore a veil were beautiful or high class women. Normal females would not even consider putting one on. Some even wanted to flaunt their looks to attract males, but she did not. She could care less about the attention she would receive.
However no matter where she went, males would constantly try to approach her. She was sick and tired of it. None of them were worthy of her, nor did any of the catch her attention.
The matter of friends was something she didn’t even think about. She couldn’t have friends, because if she did they would get dragged into her problems. Li Haun couldn’t have that, she couldn’t put her friend's life in danger. It was better if she lived alone and treated everyone coldly.
Li Haun wasn’t even originally from this continent, but she had to escape her own. She couldn’t stay there anymore or else she would die or worse. She feared what would happen if those people came to this continent. When she heard them talk about the emperor, she thought he was strong. However he wasn’t strong at all, he was weak. Li Lan brought her here, she said this was a place no one would look. Li Lan was right, who would look for her on this weak continent? However it was still best for her not to get involved with anyone.
Stolen story; please report.
It would be better if she stayed out of site. That changed. All because of one person. An image flew into her mind when she thought about him. She hated him! First he tried to teach her something she already knew. Next he dragged her with him everywhere. Then he made her a disciple of someone only at the Paragon realm. Now she’s at this damn tournament!
Staying out of site was surely out of the question. If any of these people even knew who she was, it would be all over for her. She would be forced to… just thinking about it made her angry. Li Haun shook her head as she looked at the person in front of her.
It was a man who seemed to be in his late twenties. If anything, he could pass to be in his thirties. He had this ugly smile on his face and his eyes were filled with lust as he looked at Li Haun.
“Hey, how about you come to my room tonight and let this daddy teach you all his sweet moves?” He asked her.
“Hpmh!” She coldly snorted. ‘Another idiot? If he said something like that in the presence of… he would have died.’ She thought to herself.
Back in her home continent, she was treated as a princess. None of the males there even had the balls to say such a thing to her. If they did, they would he dead the next moment.
A middle aged male was floating in the air as he glanced down at them. He sighed as he said, “Being.”
The older man dashed at Li Haun while his hand started sparking. Lighting coiled around his fist.
Li Haun closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Once she opened them, they started flicking between black and blue.
Li Haun made a hand gesture and the man threw out his punch. “Reveal that pretty face of yours.” He said as his first approached her face.
Boom!
Dust rose in the air as a crater was formed on the ground. The male's body laid in the crater slightly twitching.
Everything happened so fast that the crowd couldn’t see it all. They didn’t know who won, but they figured it was the man. He was at the Mystic realm while the girl was only at the Dao realm. The results should be obvious.
“I hope we can see her face.” One of the males said.
“Same, such a fine woman who has a great figure will naturally have a face to go with it.”
“I’ve decided, she shall be my wife. If I can have Chang Jia and her, my life will be complete!”
“Chang Jia, fat chance! Look at yourself then look at her. She would pick dog shit over you any day.”
“Fuck you!”
As they were talking, the dust was clearing away revealing the scene in front of them. They didn’t see it, but in the air was a white veil that was slowly floating downwards.
-----
Chang Chi looked at Jun Jiaying who was by his side. Such a woman was really his own. He thought about his first wife and sighed to himself, her looks could not compare to the woman by his side.
Chang Chi thought about Yan Xiang and a warm feeling filled his heart. Of all the women who he has been with, she is the only one who paid him no attention. Her heart was filled with his brothers love. Chang Chi could have any woman he wanted, but he couldn’t have her.
Yan Xiang still looked good for her age, and she was even better looking than Jun Jiaying. Chang Chi doubted that anyone in this world could be better looking than her. If he could find such a person, he would definitely marry her.
“My God! Such a woman exists!” A loud voice echoed through the building.
Chang Chi was interrupted from his thoughts and glanced around. He doubted that it was a beautiful woman, it was probably someone who had a high cultivation. However he still needed to look, it may be Chang Mo’s future wife.
His eyes went around the arenas until it landed on one. There was a grey robbed young woman with a beautiful face. Her looks could are on par with Yan Xiang. No, she wasn’t on par with her, it was Yan Xiang!
‘Did I go back in time!?’ Chang Chi thought as he shook his head. He glanced to his side only to notice everyone was still there. ‘No, I couldn’t have.’ He said.
Chang Chi looked across from him and noticed that Yan Xiang was also staring in the same direction as everyone else. He couldn’t make out her face, but he knew she had to be surprised. The woman below looked like her, how could she not be surprised.
Chang Chi smiled as he noticed this wasn’t a dream nor did he go back in time. He couldn’t have Yan Xiang, but what about someone who looked like her? This young woman would definitely be his.
“Daddy, look at her, she is stunning! I think Mo’er would be happy with her!” His daughter said.
Chang Chi frowned as he looked at his daughter. “I don’t think Mo’er would want her as his wife. Look at her, it looks like his mother. What kind of child would want a woman that looks like their parents?” He asked her.
Chang Jia seemed to understand something and frowned. “Mo’er would.”
Chang Jia could tell that the look in her father's eyes was not for Chang Mo’s own good. It was for Chang Chi’s own good. The look in his eyes were filled with lust and passion. The way he looked at that young female was the same way he looked at Jun Jiaying. She knew that her dad had to have wanted to have that young woman for himself. Therefore she wanted to push even harder for Mo’er to have her.
“No. Look at her cultivation, do you think she is worthy?”
“Yes!” Chang Jia didn’t hesitate to answer.
Chang Chi frowned as he looked back at the young woman. “As i’ve said before, who ever wins shall marry both of you. The male shall marry you while the female shall marry him.” Chang Chi knew that the possibility of that woman winning was quite low, so he wasn’t worried. He didn’t even check the male who was laying in the carter. If he did, then that would be a different story.
