As you may have noticed, I haven't really been pushing out chapters like I use to. I've actually been busy, but I don't want to drag this arc into the new year. As i've said in my previous comment (On chapter 57) I couldn't keep the content of this arc contained in 60 chapters like I hoped, therefore the arc will be going past that. You may not know it, but we are very close to the ending of this arc (However there is still a few things left to do.) Once the tournament ends, so does this arc. I'll be releasing chapters as soon as they get done until this arc is finished. I would like to finish it by the 30th, but we'll see how it goes.
I actually haven't posted any of the previous edited chapters that NasVersix has edited for me. Will do that after this arc if finished, but he is caught up on the latest chapter (57).
Hope you guys enjoy the story and some of the 'new' characters. Should be a couple more characters today, (Trying to get one released every 2-3 hours within each other.).

Soaring Dragon Continent
Qiu Zhen stretched his arms and got up from sitting crossed legged. He yawned as he went to his bed and grabbed the baby monkey. It struggled for a moment, but it laid down on his head. He hasn’t really had anyone care about it being on his head, and he almost forgets it’s there sometimes. When he went to visit Yan Xiang a couple nights ago, it wasn’t even with him.
Now that it’s the morning of the tournament, he might as well take it with him. If he left the little thing here, it would find him later anyways. Besides, this little thing can come in handy.
Qiu Zhen walked out of the door and went to find the other disciples. While walking to find his fellow disciples, a few of the other disciples he met looked at him strange. This was to be expect considering he had a little monkey on his head. Not to mention it wasn’t even a demonic beast, it was only a normal animal. What kind of cultivator kept such a thing?
A demonic beast that is captured at a young age can be taught and tamed. Most of the rich cultivators keep them as pets. They each have their own skills and cultivation levels of their own. Not many disciples have one because they usually aren’t allowed in the school. However in Qiu Zhen’s case, it isn’t a demonic beast and only a normal one, therefore it was allowed in the school.
When he first brought the monkey back, he got the same looks he was getting now. However no one questioned him in the school because they seen what he did to Ye Fa. Not to mention once he returned to the school, he hardly talked to them. Qiu Zhen only had a select few he would communicate with.
The disciples of the other schools glanced at Qiu Zhen, but said nothing. They continued walking but once they got a distance away from him they started whispering. They were whispering about a few things. One of the main being his cultivation level.
Qiu Zhen’s cultivation couldn’t be seen, therefore that could only mean two things. Either he was higher than them, or he was a mortal. They couldn’t believe the latter because he was walking around the area for the schools. However they couldn’t believe the other either because that would be too insane. What level could he be at that they couldn’t sense his cultivation? He surely was not a Paragon, nor an Immortal.
Qiu Zhen soon arrived in the area with his fellow disciples. They were around chit chatting and talking about the upcoming duels. It seemed they were excited, while some were fearful. They had to win, or else they would have to leave the school. None of them wanted that therefore their only option was to win.
Not to mention if they displayed their strength they might catch the eye of Chang Mo or Chang Jia. They needed to put on their best effort forward or else they’ll lose in the competition for catching the eye of one of them. The female disciples especially put on makeup even though they were going to duel. It seemed they just had to look pretty for Chang Mo.
Gan Fang was standing next to his master when he noticed Qiu Zhen walking over. He noticed little Mo on his head and laughed. He didn’t know why Qiu Zhen brought the little guy when he was going to duel. However he decided to ignore it like always. He walked over to Qiu Zhen
“Brother Qiu Zhen, it seems you’ll have a hard time today.” Gan Fang said.
Qiu Zhen raised his eyebrow. “Oh, really?”
Gan Fang nodded his head. “Indeed, I heard from a fellow disciple that in the F block it is filled with the top school. Truly your luck is bad, but so is theirs.”
Qiu Zhen laughed inwardly, he didn’t have bad luck, but they did. Since most of their disciples are in the same block they will naturally have to fight each other. This means that the chances of them placing high are quite low.
“So you say brother Gan Fang, but i’m not worried. Instead you should be careful, with you here who knows what Chang Chi will do.”
Gan Fang nodded his head. He knew that coming here meant that he could fight the other disciples from the other schools. However it also meant exposing himself to Chang Chi. Once Chang Chi found out who he was, who knew what he would do.
Soon the disciples stopped flowing in and the headmaster looked at all of them. He took a deep breath before speaking. “Remember, you have to win at least one duel. If you don’t, then don’t even think of coming back.” After he said that he turned around and started walking to the stands.
The other elders followed after him, while the disciples went to the arenas. Once they were on the ground floor, they split up into their groups. They each needed to go to their own block until the day was over.
In this tournament, it would be single elimination. Each disciple would fight one on one until they finally had a winner. Today, they would fight a few times and continue fighting tomorrow until they ended up with a victor.
Qiu Zhen split from Gan Fang and went to his ground. He was in group F which Gan Fang said contained most of the top school’s disciple. The top school that he knew of was the Blazing Heaven.
The number in this group alone seemed to be in the thousands. Each disciple was emitting their arua letting the others know how strong they were. Qiu Zhen laughed at these kids. What’s the use of telling others how strong you are if in the end you’re going to lose?
You could be reading stolen content. Head to Royal Road for the genuine story.
He arrived at this ground with four more disciples from his school. Qiu Zhen didn’t talk to them at school so he didn’t bother to now. He walked into the crowd of disciples to blend in.
An old man walked onto the stage and looked at the disciples. “When I call your number come up.” He said.
The old man started calling two different numbers. Shortly after two male disciples went up. They both had on white robes with golden lining.
“Yes! Now these damn people will kill each other off. Hopefully they are all like that.” Someone spoke.
“Ha, that’s what they get for all pulling the same group. Wait until I go up, ‘Number one’ school my ass, this daddy will show them who the real number one is.” Someone else laughed.
At the end of the crowd was a group of disciples. Each one of them showed a different expression, but none of the said a word. They were each wearing the same colored robes as the two on stage.
This group belonged to the Blazing Heaven school. If you looked into the group, a third of the group was made up of them. The other two thirds were a mixture of the other schools.
The old man told the two males the rules for the duel and then he floated in the air to watch. The two male disciples fought, the one at the peak of the Dao realm ended up winning in the end.
Following that duel, there were a total of ten more before the old man finally called Qiu Zhen’s number. He walked onto the stage and all eyes were on him. They couldn’t sense his cultivation! Not to mention no one knew who he was. If he was some genius then it is to be expected that they at least know his name. However they didn’t.
A robust male with blonde hair came onto the stage. He was wearing the same robes as the other two males who first appeared. He sneered at Qiu Zhen and gave him a sharp glare.
“Get off the stage and come back when you are a real man.” He told Qiu Zhen.
“Haha, brother Yu Zho is going to kick that brat to the ground. Look at him, looking like a rat who is in front of a cat. The look in his eyes has his froze with fear.” A fellow disciple said loudly boasting about his brother.
“Indeed, his arua is so weak I can’t even sense it. Such a weak person doesn’t even deserve to live. Brother Yu Zho, just kill him, no one will care.”
The robust male on the stage nodded to the comments. He noticed that Qiu Zhen said nothing and wasn’t moving at all. He thought that Qiu Zhen was frozen stiff from his strength.
“Didn’t you hear me!? Get the hell off the stage!” He shouted.
He released all his aura which shot up. Everyone could feel the energy he was revealing, but they weren’t too shocked. Yu Zho was at the middle stage of the Mystical realm, it wasn’t too big. At his age, if he didn’t have that then their was no use boasting his strength.
Qiu Zhen tilted his head slightly. After looking at the male in front of him, he smiled as he turned to the old man in the air. “Can we start now?” He asked.
The old man waited to see if Qiu Zhen was going to leave. In all his days, he never met someone who didn’t have an ounce of aura. He figured that Qiu Zhen was strange and that he was weak. When he noticed Yu Zho’s cultivation he grinned and hoped Qiu Zhen would leave. He didn’t want to kill up anyones’ body today. However instead Qiu Zhen asked him can they start which greatly surprised him. ‘It’s your funeral kid.’ He told himself.
“Start.” He calmly said.
“Don’t blame me then!” Yu Zho moved his body and a ball of fire that was two meters wide shot at Qiu Zhen. Qiu Zhen himself wasn’t moving and only stared at the fireball.
“Shit, does he have a death wish! He isn’t even trying to move!”
“Let the idoit die. He shouldn’t have acted arrogant and ignored Yu Zho’s warning.”
Boom!
The fireball landed on Qiu Zhen and the area was scored. However there was no screaming at all. Not one cry of pain, not one sound. The crowd’s jaws dropped.
“Did he get roasted in an instant?”
“Y-yeah, that has to be it…”
“Really, this is the best you can do? I should have known better.” A voice spoke.
Everyone's eyes widened as they looked around the crowd. They were trying to see who was talking. No, they were hoping someone was talking in the crowd, because if they weren’t then the person who was talking could only be Qiu Zhen!
Qiu Zhen who was standing in the middle of the flames moved his hand and the flames dispersed. He was unscratched, not even a burn could be seen.
“My God!” Someone shouted.
Qiu Zhen ignored the talking of the crowd and took a step forward. Yu Zho who was a few meters away glared at Qiu Zhen. ‘How the hell did he survive? That was my strongest technique!’ He asked himself.
The answer was simple, or at least it was to Qiu Zhen. When he trained in the ‘9 Revolving Heavens’ body skill, it gave him immunity to four different elements and poison. One of the elements just happened to be fire.
Yu Zho shot out two more fireballs that went after Qiu Zhen. Qiu Zhen slapped his hand to the side and the fireballs dispersed.
His body blurred and a loud bang was heard. Yu Zho’s body went flying while Qiu Zhen’s blurry figure solidified back.
Qiu Zhen turned to the old man. “He won't’ be getting up anytime soon.”
The old man slowly nodded his head while he was trying to understand what happened. He stopped thinking about it and announced. “F4520 has won.”
