Soaring Dragon Continent

Qiu Zhen walked off the arena and the crowd gave him a path to walk on. Their eyes showed newfound respect for him.

“Who the hell is that!?” Someone asked.

The other disciples who were in the same group as Qiu Zhen grinned. They knew he wouldn’t let them down, not after he beat Ye Fa. No matter what anyone said, he was strong and they knew it.

They took pride in being in the same school as him. He showed them that you could beat someone who has a high cultivation than yourself. Even if he didn’t talk to them, they all knew who he was.

“That’s brother Qiu Zhen!” One of the Sky Serpent disciples said proudly.

“Qiu Zhen… I’ve never heard of him before.” A few people in the crowd said.

“Naturally, our Sky Serpent School doesn’t appear much in the world. If we did, then his name would have shaken the world months ago!” Another Sky Serpent disciple said.

A couple of disciples in the crowd nodded. His strength was enough to beat someone who was a middle staged Mystical realm cultivator. If you look at Qiu Zhen’s height, you can easily tell he can’t be more than fifteen or seventeen. Such a person is surely a genius whose name should have been spread around years ago.

“It’s a shame he’s at such a backwater school. If he was at our school, his strength would have soared a long time ago.” Someone said.

“What! You dare say that about or school!”

“Of course. What kind of school that claims to be ‘first’ rate hardly has a reputation. If it was my school that had such a disciple, his name would have been heard long ago. Not to mention the amount of beauties beneath him!”

“I’ll let your ass know that our Sky Serpent school is much better than any of your lame as schools! Boast all you want, but we’ll see if you leave this group victorious.”

----

A woman wearing a black veil was seated in the upper section of the building. She had a wonderful smile underneath the veil as she watched the matches going on. She was wearing this skin tight red dress that caused all the men to turn their head in her direction.

Seated next to her was her father. He was wearing a dark red robe with golden lining around around. He had on some flashy accessories, and he emitted his profound aura that would cause anyone to be fearful.

Next to her father was a beautiful woman who her father took a liking too. She was staring at the matches unmoving.

The woman wearing the black veil shook her head slightly. ‘Damn bitch takes the spot in my father's heart! Hmph! Wait until I become empress, i’ll kill you for making my mother sad.’ She told herself. Even if she didn’t have this veil over her face, no one would be able to know what she was thinking. On the outside, she was making smile, but on the inside she was frowning.

“Jia’er, has anyone caught your fancy?” Her father asked her.

She nodded as she pointed towards one of the many arenas on the ground. “Daddy, you should already know that Mu Lin is the most suitable. He is only twenty-five this year and already at the point of breaking through to the late stage of the mystical realm. With his age and talent, i’m sure he’ll be the most suitable. Not to mention he has the better looks than most of them.” She replied.

Her father, the emperor, Chang Chi. He loved his daughter and would do anything for her. His daughter Chang Jia had a friend that she use to hang around with when she was younger. Chang Chi didn’t think much of his talent then, but now that the boy is older his talent exploded. It was the same male who his daughter was talking about, Mu Lin.

His talent could considered top-tier among his peers. No matter who Chang Chi thought of, no one had as much talent as that kid. When he of the disciples that could even be in the Mystic realm by the age of twenty, he sighed. The number was low, but not that low. However the number of them that are worthy of his daughter could be considered few.

“Indeed, his talent is the best out of all the disciples. Out of all the ones that are here, he’s one of the most likely to win.” Chang Chi said.

“What if he loses!?” Chang Jia pouted.

“He won’t, I took care of it already. In his group there is no one that can challenge him, the ones that could are all in the same group. He’s definitely going to win!” Chang Chi grinned. “You already know Jia’er daddy will get his daughter only the best!”

Chang Chi knew that there were a couple of stronger men in this tournament, however he placed them all in the same arena. The reason he announced that his daughter was going to marry the winner was to let everyone think this tournament was fair. He however knew that it wasn’t fair. Everything is going the way he planned, so once the winner is announced he’ll be engaged to Chang Jia.

Mu Lin is still in his prime so he can easily increase his cultivation. With the help of Chang Chi, he’s sure to break into the Immortal realm later.

Chang Jia nodded.

“What about Mo’er? Did you take care of that too?” She asked curiously.

When Chang Mo was invited to stay with them, she was happy. She didn’t think her uncle had a kid, but once she learned she was happy. She grew up with Chang Mo so she treated him like her little brother.

Her uncle had died which made her sad. Since he didn’t have a child of his own, he treated her like a princess. She understood that he was stronger than her dad, but didn’t know how he died. Whenever she asked her father, he said that it was karma striking back at him.

Once he died, she cried all night long. Soon after her aunt Yan never returned to the palace, which also made her sad. At that time, Chang Jia was too young to understand everything that was happening.

When Chang Mo started getting interested in females, Chang Jia promised him that he would have the best one out there. Not only would she be a beauty that could move mountains, she would be the strongest one out there. Well, the second strongest. Chang Jia considered herself the first strongest.

Chang Chi nodded his head. “Of course, Mo’er shall only have the best. Like his father, his wife shall be one who can move the hearts of a kingdom.”

When talking with her father, she continued watching the matches that were going on. She especially paid attention to the group where Mu Lin was in. She didn’t want to miss a moment of it.

However her eyes suddenly grew big. “Mo’er!” She yelled.

Chang Chi glanced in the direction she was looking and jumped up. He strictly forbid Chang Mo from participating in this tournament. No matter what, he must not go up! If he did, everyone would find out he couldn’t use martial skills.

What sort of woman would want such a male? Now that he was going on stage, it would all be over!

“Stop! Go stop that match!” Chang Chi yelled at one of the men dressed in black behind him.

“Emperor Chi, it’s too late. They already started!” A reply came back.

“FUCK!” Chang Chi screamed as noticed Chang Mo get slapped across the arena. His hands clenched the armrest of his chair until they broke off. ‘Damnit! When I tell you something, you are suppose to do it! Just like your damn father!’ Screamed to himself.

----

In group D, Chang Mo was getting up off the ground. Blood was leaking from his mouth as he glared at his opponent. Chang Mo had the strength of the fourth Dao realm, but his opponent was at the eight Dao realm! There is a huge difference between them both.

“Get up!” His opponent said.

It was a male who seemed to be in his middle twenties talking. He had short brown hair wearing a light green robe.

“Hpmh! Some genius, can’t even take a blow!” Someone sneered.

“Ew, and to think I was thinking about marrying him.”

“Is he even Chang Mu’s child? Nothing like his father at all.”

It wasn’t only the crowd around the arena talking. In the stands, many of the spectators were also watching this match. Their opinion of Chang Mo quickly changed.

When the match started, the disciple gave Chang Mo a chance to use any martial skill he wanted. He was giving Chang Mo face because of his standing. That quickly changed when he found out that Chang Mo couldn’t use any marital skills. What sort of cultivator can’t use a martial skill?

The spectators shook their head and looked at Chang Mo with disdain. They couldn't believe that someone who had such a cultivation couldn’t use a martial skill. They would rather have someone at the Qi realm marry one of the females than him. Chang Chi talking about a peerless genius blessed by the heavens. What a load of bull!

‘Damnit! I’m still not strong enough!’ Chang Mo told himself. ‘If I knew the difference between learning a martial skill and not having one was this big, I wouldn’t have even tried.’

Chang Mo got up off the ground, but in front of him was his opponent. Chang Mo cursed his luck.

“Kowtow five times, and slap yourself in the face.” He told Chang Mo.

“Do you know who I am!?” Chang Mo’s voice raised.

The man laughed. “Yes I do, some fucking trash!” The man turned towards the crowd around the arena. “Isn’t that right, he’s trash right?”

The crowd nodded. “Damn right! You don’t deserve to marry, you don’t even deserve to live!”

“Talent? If you have talent then my pet dog has talent out of this world. At least he can breath fire! What can you do besides shit!?”

The crowd started laughing.

Chang Mo clenched his fist as he glared at the man in front of him. “Well, you going to do it? Or do I need to continue beating you until you do?” The man asked him.

“Chang Mo bows to no one! You think you’re the shit, Chang Mo will teach you what being the shit really means!” Chang Mo told him as he threw his fist.

The young man grabbed Chang Mo’s fist. He took his hand and slammed it against Chang Mo’s arm breaking it. “Of course you know you’re the shit. Because you really are SHIT!”

“AHH!” Chang Mo screamed.

In all his life, he has never been so humiliated. Sure, he can’t learn any cultivation techniques, but so fucking what! Do they not care who he is? Do they even want to live? Chang Mo laughed to himself as he glared daggers at the man. His body started heat up.

“Still not kowtowing! Fine, I’ll break the other one!” He threw out a punch aiming for Chang Mo’s other arm.

‘Chang Mo bows to none! Chang Mo will murder all those who dare humiliate him!’ He told himself while waiting for the blow to come.

Chang Mo’s body turned bright red. It felt hot. Suddenly his eyes flickered deep red as he glared at his opponent. The first that was coming at him seemed way slower than before. Chang Mo couldn’t feel his body, he was seeing what was happening, but he wasn’t in control of his body.

His body burst forth with bright red flames that covered his whole body. “DIE!” He yelled as he moved his fist and punched the man in his face.

Boom!

The man’s head exploded and blood sprayed everywhere. His body dropped to the ground while Chang Mo glared at the crowd. “Who dares call Chang Mo trash!?” His voice was cold as he stared at the crowd.

The crowd shook their head quickly. None of them said anything else after seeing what Chang Mo did. Shortly after, the fire around Chang Mo’s body disappeared and his deep red eyes turned back black. His body fell to the ground as he collapsed.

----

Chang Chi was shocked. In the time that Chang Mo was growing up, he has never been able to learn any martial skills. However, at this moment he released one. It was a strong one as well. One that could kill someone four levels higher than himself.

“Zhou Wei… tell me I just saw wrong.”

“Y-you did not…”

“Heavens! The heavens really do exist!”
