Soaring Dragon Continent, Black Tortoise Forest
Qiu Zhen ran deeper into the forest, he was headed towards the core. If he couldn’t kill the Demon Ape King then he would get something that will. As long as both of the beasts fight, naturally they will injure each other and that’s when he’ll strike. For this plan to work, Qiu Zhen needed to be bait himself, and he needed a Mystical realm demon beast. He didn’t know if there were anymore inside the forest, but he would soon find out.
Jumping from tree to tree, going deeper into the forest Qiu Zhen came across multiple demon beast. Each one being slightly stronger than the last, the lowest one at the seventh Dao realm. Snakes, birds, foxes, bears, lizards, a different species kept chasing after him.
It had only been around five minutes since he left Gin Ja and Gan Fang with that Demon Ape King. Qiu Zhen wasn’t worried about Gan Fang, he had a feeling that he would be able to escape. As for Gin Ja, Qiu Zhen didn’t feel too good about him. His chances of living were slim.
Qiu Zhen jumped from one tree branch going to another when suddenly he heard a roar. This roar was louder than the last one and it made his body tremble. His body could still remember that fearsome war cry that the Demon Ape King let out. His body would never forget it. It knew what true fear was.
In a moment like this, Qiu Zhen thought back to how he was cornered by the Red Demon Furred Lion, his strength back then wasn’t even capable of injuring it let alone killing it. He slightly smiled as he was reminded of Lien Meili, and how she handled that beast. In a situation where he was once again facing a beast at the Mystical realm, he had to rely on something else that was equal to its strength.
‘Weak! I’m still too weak!’ Qiu Zhen thought to himself. He couldn’t bear the pain and feeling he had for being weak. Sure he could be considered strong compared to most of the disciples in his school, but what about the other places? In the cultivation world you never know who's stronger than you, and when you’ll die. Take him for example, he had reached the peak but yet here he was, starting all over again because he didn’t keep his guard up.
The feeling of weakness can also be one's strength, but for Qiu Zhen any form of weakness can never be considered real strength. Only those who cast away their emotions and live on top of everyone else can be considered truly strong.
He felt it, or he felt something. He was getting closer and closer to the core of the forest, the place where demon beasts are at their peak. As for the demon beasts that followed him, they disperse. They weren’t stupid. They could tell that Qiu Zhen was heading deeper into the forest where all the stronger beasts were. They themselves were only at the Dao realm, why should they risk their lives to follow him. They understood that it was better to give up while they still had the chance.
“There, up ahead!”
Qiu Zhen’s eyes opened wider, he knew that he had reached his destination. In the core of the forest there weren’t as many trees, instead it was a giant open plain. The grass was lush, and you could see all your surroundings perfectly. However one thing was strange, there was no demon beast in sight. Qiu Zhen could feel a slight chill down his spine. He had a feeling that something was watching him, but he couldn’t locate it.

Li Haun went towards the outer region of the forest, as long as she made it there she felt that she would be ok. She knew that she still needed to collect some demon cores, but first she had to make sure that the Demon Ape King wasn’t following her. She dashed forward with the idea in mind that she would go around and find some different demon beast to hunt.
She heard the beast roar again, and she could still feel the effects lingering in her body, but she wasn’t stopping. Her speed increased making it comparable to those who were at the sixth Dao realm. The veil on her face fluttered with the wind, it seemed as if it wanted to come off.
“I know you.”
Li Haun turned her neck to glance back at the voice, only to find a male she didn’t recall. Ever since she got into the school, countless males were trying to approach her, she couldn’t remember all of them. As for liking any of them went, she didn’t have such feelings.
Li Haun turned her head back and ignored the male, she didn’t have time for him.
“So that’s how you’re going to play it huh? Well now that that brat is gone how about we have some real fun?”

Li Haun grinned, she never would have thought that there would actually be someone who would try to force himself upon her. She quickly probed him for his cultivation and found out that he was only at the sixth Dao realm. ‘You’re not even worth my time.’ Li Haun thought to herself.
“Oh, think you can escape? Think again!”
Swosh! Swosh!
Four males came out from the surroundings and enclosed her, forcing her to stop het track. Each of them could be considered handsome and their cultivation was also high. If this was another female in the same place as Li Haun, they might kill themselves right on the spot or would’ve been scared stiff, but she wasn’t like the them.
The males gazed upon her body with lewd eyes while some licked their lips as if they were waiting to dig into a meal they would only have once in their lifetime. All together, there were five males surrounding her, each one had a cultivation higher than her own.
“Hahaha, boss it seems like we’ve caught a big one this time!”
“I’ve always wanted a piece of you, who would have thought that you would be the third one today.”
“Let’s not waste more time and cut to the chase right now. You will give yourself to us and we’ll let you have a good time. To be honest out of the five we’ve met today, three killed themselves while two panicked. We were going to wait until we had more people, but who would have thought we would find you by yourself. Today is such a good day.”
Li Haun’s eyes turned cold, you couldn’t even see the depth of her eyes anymore. These scums in front of her actually had the nerve to force themselves upon others, and they thought they could do it to her. ‘Stupid.’ She thought.
The males seemed to have noticed that Li Haun wasn’t going to kill herself like the others, so they closed in on her. To them it seemed that she was giving them the ok, but they approached with caution.
“That’s a good girl.”
“Hpmh! You should be grateful you’ll die by my hands!”
The five males stopped and coldly smiled, it seemed that the girl in front of them didn’t understand the place she was in. It was five against one and every one of them had a higher cultivation than her.
“Stupid bitch can you not count!?”
Li Haun’s eyes that were originally black flickered blue. Her aura was released, however she only produced energy at the fifth Dao realm. The air around her seemed to have changed a little producing a chilling air.
“Something is wrong with her eye.”
“What?”
“Look, it turned blue...ah it turned back black.”
“Boss it seems we’ve picked up a weird one.”
------
Hu Jun fled in the same direction as Li Haun and Gan Fang, however she stayed on the same path as Li Haun. Something about her just made Hu Jun angry, so she decided to follow her to get something on her. However to her surprise, Li Haun was surrounded by five males, and the way they were looking at her seemed like they were wild horny wolves.
In her heart Hu Jun knew she couldn’t let Li Haun be defiled by them, but she also wanted to see the look on her face when she was. Maybe she would get an attitude change if she was, Hu Jun thought but quickly dismissed that thought.
“No, I have to help!”
Hu Jun went forward and took out her fan ready to trade blows with the males. She called out, “Li Ha-” Boom!
Wiped out. Instant death.
Hu Jun couldn’t understand what had just occurred. It all happened so fast. One second Li Haun was surrounded and the next everyone around her was dead. “Im-impossible!” Hu Jun couldn’t believe it, Li Haun was strong, very strong.
Li Haun looked at Hu Jun, and that's when Hu Jun knew that Li Haun couldn’t be human. Li Haun’s eyes flickered between black and blue, and it gave this feeling of death. Hu Jun had this bone piercing chill go down her spine as she gazed at Li Haun.
Hu Jun rubbed her eyes. She had to be dreaming. There was no way a human could change their eye color, that was impossible. However when she looked again, Li Haun was gone.
