Cerk-Ly War, Second Ters-Ly War, Piya Sanctum District's Deployment (4)
4 days later. Lýmoca, Pretetl's #1 air base. Year 1,027, 3rd month, 3rd week, and 3rd day.
After weeks since Lýmoca joined the war, taking the invaded countries' side, the country was preparing another large deployment. But this time, it was less than a third of soldiers sent to Argopolas. While the public didn't have an idea to what was happening exactly, connecting the obvious dots, the popular thought was that people like Fox were being sent to war.
When it happened before, nobody knew what was going on, except perhaps the hoogs aware of such situations and mobilizations. Now, it was different. Knowing Fox was capable of carrying out a successful assassination, the Lys waited the day to see those cargo planes fly off.
Lýmoca had nothing against the Cerk president, much less their people, but if Fox was being sent, then it was clear it wasn’t for nothing. The President, and Lýmoca itself, were going serious on these wars. Who knows, maybe more territory would fall in Lýmoca’s hands.
When thinking about this, and of Terka’s current situation, which had become guarded and tight in security since Lýmoca officially joined the war, the Lys felt a bit of a calling.
It was light and nothing exaggerated. But just as Lys thought of this, others did, too. Moreover, they didn’t think the same. For example, neighbors such as Cors and Preato, and even Mount Veneta, were feeling angsty.
Not only were these wars a lot to take in and impeding the peacefulness of south Moonblue. The flights from either side of their lump of land in the south were all cancelled, no chance for reopening any time soon.
After the First Ters-Ly War, one would think that the HLS would be followed better, which was the case, especially for Lýmoca’s business. But the situation at both sides in the south complicated everything. Furthermore, ANS was keen on Lýmoca’s prospects, should they… do more than defend Melenon and Argopolas.
While other countries like the Pyot and Meztle Islands, Carnge, and Endesa were silent, once again supporting the Lys, the rest of the supercontinent wasn’t so positive. It might be true that Cors didn’t want to have any side. ANS is one thing, but Lýmoca has become another.
While Lýmoca is Lýmoca, and there was no way they would attack the south altogether, besides being a suicidal, all-wasting course of actions; worse things have happened during the last several months.
First, Terka killed and beat Lys in their embassy, and who knew what and how much else on their way to being expelled of the country that it was back then. Followed by the First Ters-Ly War, ending in Lýmoca’s victory and ‘integration’ of Terka, still to be definitely decided.
Then, Cerka and Torka’s sudden declarations of war, practically illegal as they were on the move in others’ territories before it was fully sent out. Furthermore, about half a million people were the rumored digit in the casualties so far, and who knew how much longer it would continue to be.
Thus, who knew what Lýmoca would do next. That was when ANS, seeing the situation and the patterns, as well as the building irony that should have not existed, if it wasn’t for them, spoke out again. Lýmoca was all ears, and the world looked in the direction of one of the most influential countries in the world. How could they not?
“… Hello, everybody. My name is Laen Worfield,” Laen stood before ANS’s big press conference’s podium, transmitting to the entire country. The world watched with rapt attention. “I am a senator of the Aggregated Nation States. As its spokesperson, I have come to talk today in representation of the worries in the supercontinent, and our people.”
“But I won’t just speak about the matters happening in Moonblue, which hurts all of us and continue to etch a shadow of worry into all of our minds, even to the point children are uncertain. Hmph, that has to be something really wrong if it has come to that… and it has.”
“It costs me belief to say this, but I believe we are seeing a change in the world. One where Lýmoca has started to change its course, and it isn’t only because of their ‘illegal’ president.” Laen went straight to it, “Just a couple of decades ago, having a Lýmocan president wanting to keep his seat was outrageous. Today— they acclaim and venerate the notion.”
“If this isn’t an insult to a country’s history and tradition, there’s nothing I, and ANS, can say about the course of this history. Because, since years ago, Lýmoca has begun a path that does not suit everyone, only themselves.”
“It’s time to say his, and I do, as we in ANS do, hope that it reaches the rest of the ears in Resilient for the better future and to retain eternal peace in our home.” Laen frowned delicately, showing vulnerability, but also a growing ‘rise’ within him.
“Lýmoca has changed!” Laen practically declared. “We don’t know what’s wrong with them, but it sure wants different things from what they’ve always and still promise. They have become tyrannical. The world got rid of its last empire when the east’s royalty finally failed, and the Lýlaco Empire was crushed!”
“Yet, they are trying to re-incorporate their imperialism, and they’re doing it slowly, right under our noses! I do not respect such ideals, for this regression is exactly what brought the other Sanctum Orders to their fall!”
Those last words were sure to cause and upheaval in the mind of anyone listening. Who knew what other people felt during previous Orders? What did they feel? They surely didn’t believe they would exterminate each other again and rinse and repeat a few times after their deaths. Would they be the same? Or are they truly different and would change ‘this’ time?
“They are the very same pirates they said they got rid of, too. Criminals? There’s no need for OC when you have this Lýmoca. Their president sits in that office of his for more than a decade, and nobody wonders what kind of empire delusions he has developed now?”
“I want to make a call to not just all leaders, but the people of every nation!” Laen continued on and on, speaking just a day before the 3rd week’s 3rd day of the 3rd month.
… While the Lýmocan senate and Chamber of Deputies engaged in indirect ‘debates’ with ANS’s equals, slowly turning into a direct response from one side to the other. In the morning of the appointed day, everything was prepared in the large air base of Pretetl.
Fox was with the President, standing beside Ego and a few other cabinet members, including Roam and Lesly. Piya Sanctum District mobilized a couple of tens of thousands of 1st Grade special agents for Argopolas, and they were only the first batch.
Fox was leading a strong 200-company unit, and that was without counting the Captains leading at least an Echelon below him, including Nala among them, who also had a company unit under her command.
Special agents were ready to take off, all secured with the skies cleared. The only people moving were those who retreated with their machinery empty, hurrying away to let the scary assets leave as early as scheduled.
Fox turned to the President, whom Esmeralda kept rubbing his elbow, trying to ease her father’s mood. She was coming to the war, after all. While she would be safe with Fox protecting her, that much Luis trusted Fox, nobody wanted their dainty, little, incredibly clever and intelligent child to go to war, ever.
Fox looked at the other cabinet members, giving some a few longer looks before walking to the President. Luis noticed him. He pressed his lips before patting his daughters’ backhands, making Esmeralda smile before she let go of him.
Colmillo and Miros were at the plane Fox was going to take. She caressed Miros’s face, probably chiding him before they left each other’s sight and embrace for a while.
“Hold it there, bratfox.” Lesly sounded, halting Fox, who looked at the beautiful vice president with a black attire. Fox looked at her, unbothered to be stopped by this… future mother-in-law?
“Give them a bit more of time. Esmeralda might look decent-” Lesly began. Fox interrupted with a gentle shake of his shoulders, “But she is afraid, too. And I will ensure my little Esme comes back safe and sound, if only more experienced than her father.”
“Exactly,” Lesly blinked for a couple of seconds before responding with a smile. She joined her hands, caressing her skin before adding, “Any potential step a child takes is a worry for the parent, or parents. When… when you have yours, you will know the cause of all this worry.”
“Mn…” Fox narrowed his eyes a bit and nodded lightly, staring at the wonderful vice president who looked at him with care. She then said, “It’s also not just his daughter he’s putting thought into. Even Nala is someone he asks to give whatever she asks of. He just doesn’t like playing step-father for others, especially when things are complicated.”

“Mn.” Fox smirked from the left corner of his mouth. He gave Lesly another look before walking to Esmeralda, who slowly walked to him. Lesly bid him off with a light smile. Fox took Esmeralda’s wrist before walking to Luis, while Nala peeked out of their plane’s hatch, hanging from the handle and waiting for them.
“…” - “…” Luis looked at Fox, who looked back with Esmeralda by his side. When Fox stopped before the President, the latter felt something in his chest turn lighter, with his heart calming, and his eyes falling on his daughter once more before facing Fox directly.
“You know everything you have to do. I can’t have something more to say for you. Only… take care, Fox.” Luis said after a few more moments. Fox respected the man, letting him end his words before staring at Ego for a moment, who looked at the planes with narrowed eyes.
Fox could see the thoughtfulness of the man who might have never thought this day would come, at least in his care of the District. He returned his polycoria eyes to Luis and nodded, intertwining fingers with Esme, who looked at him with sweet, tender, and melted eyes.
“We will. You too, President. Egoaiz is the greatest bodyguard, and he’s the best source of reason to hear from. But I also know he’s your best veteran at knowing how to be an old man. It seems you’re in need of that, Luis.” Fox rubbed his nose after spouting nonsense.
Luis breathed in, drawing his chin in half a moon’s circle before giving his daughter a ‘see?’ look. His hands in his pockets, he eyed Fox and asked in a whisper, “Did he hear that?”
“Of course he did.” Fox flashed a tasteless grin before turning around, bringing the pure and beautiful Esmeralda away from her father. Esmeralda contentedly stepped towards the plane, a bit of a long journey, with her face in Fox’s direction, chin slightly up, the entire time.
“Siiiigh…” Luis heavily sighed as Nala helped the country’s princess into the plane. Lesly softly bumped his crossed arms with hers, standing at his side and looking at the hatch closing up. “You made one, now you’re losing her.”
“That isn’t helping.” Luis said, shaking his head as the first cargo planes in the base took off, driving off before spiking into the sky. He then added after a long silence, and when Raging Blood’s plane finally moved, meant to stay at the center of the airborne formation.
“Unless you meant…” He stared at Lesly, who looked ahead, and noticed the slight grin in the beautiful woman’s lips. Luis fell a little more speechless, but he concluded his words. “You would be all so willing to make them with me?”
“My, President of Lýmoca.” Lesly ‘exclaimed’ with barely a volume to her voice. She relaxed her arms and faced him, slightly stepping backwards and away from him. “What sort of things you tell to your vice president? I can’t believe this.”
“Oh, oh~ right.” Luis widened his eyes, letting his arms fall before a ravishing, handsome grin splattered on his face. He playfully walked slowly to her, ‘threatening’ to silence her. “I know it isn’t just me sending signals, my lady. Do you expect me to not get hint after hint?”
“Señor President, please bájale a tus huevos. I am but the country’s servant, not yours.” Lesly firmly shook her head, stopping and pushing her palms in the air to indicate her stance. Luis frowned with a confused smile, stopping as well. “What do you mean, then?”
“Only married couples have kids left and right, don’t they?” Lesly straightened her back and looked at the dumbfounded face of the Lýmocan President. She smirked, victorious and in control. But then, Luis’s hands went to her sides without her noticing.
“Ah!” Luis pulled her, hugging her and bringing her to his chest. Lesly accommodated quickly, looking at Luis with an expectant expression. Luis didn’t waste more time. He looked at her close, face to face, and went, “I’d like to, very much so, to let it happen soon.”
“Mmm.” Lesly hummed, her lips sealed, and her eyes taken hostage. Luis soundlessly sighed, bringing his heart out with a ragged breathing, “But I want to make it happen after everything. I will focus solely on you, not a war, not the uncertainty of other nations… just you and our family.”
Lesly’s breathtaking black eyes spoke wonders, turning Luis into a doofus. Esmeralda was one of the people to push them into this, so there was nothing to worry about her accepting this. How could they not know her and her most likely blessings for this crucial matter?
Even though Lesly has remained unmarried despite the difficulty of doing so as she is who she is, she did help bring Esmeralda to a mature age and taught her sometimes. Maybe it was more like an aunt’s job, but she had some experience, and of course, she knew the girl.
Both knew the essentials of today. Their love can wait for a tomorrow. They are already together. To make it official or announce it to the public was but a pre-ceremonial act. Furthermore, Luis would never let something like this occur while he sent people to die in another country, again.
“Won’t you say anything else? I think there’s something missing.” Lesly voiced after their eyes studied each other long and arduously for the umpteenth time in the past several months.
“I wasn’t sure if it was fitting… But, Lesly,” Luis widened his eyes, taken aback. He blushed a bit, hiding his face from all possible faraway cameras, allowed inside but too far away even for their latest models to detail everything in the distance. “I love you, you woman whom I cannot stop thinking about, desiring to be with for the rest of my life.”
“… I love you, too, Luis. It is you who has always made me the woman I am today, you wonderful dimwit.” Lesly was flabbergasted and engrossed in the moment. When she responded, her everything did the thinking and talking, her hands went around his neck to touch the back of his ears.
“I just realized we’re making a scene for all the ‘ears’ around.” Luis grinned after hesitating, remembering what happened before. Lesly’s face flushed red in a flash, with her hold around his neck becoming tighter, bringing them even closer.
They exchanged another pair of eyes before looking at the sky, where Fox’s plane had finally taken off and the last few planes in the airbase were amidst spiking into the skies.
Those were dozens of cargo planes and lighter types, all deployed to carry the vehicles and their personnel apart from each other. The combat and support helicopters under PSD command were already in Terka, waiting to receive the new aerial fleet carrying all the big, scary fellas.
“There they go,” Luis voiced. He sounded conflicted, at least internally. Lesly caught upon that, giving him a soft look before muttering, “He’s not your little treasure to hold off and send away. If he’s going, it’s because of something, ey. He has his battles, too. And anger.”
“Mn, that I’ve failed, too.” Luis commented. Lesly rolled her eyes, grabbing his chin and making him face her. “There’s no more room for self-blame. Keep your head up. We’re going to need the President to be ready for every situation from now on.”
“It should have been— from the very beginning.” Luis repeated. Lesly’s face fell. She finally shook her head a bit, “I’m seriously considering not letting you have a breather next time.”
“What do you…?” Luis was confused, but Lesly turned around and walked away, too tired of the airiness of the place. His eyes widened in realization, and then, he didn’t know if to feel punished or spoiled. The President just walked to their car, contented like a dog wagging his tail.

2 hours later. After flying down the Ly Ocean, nearing Argopolas’s north with confirmed safety.
After 2 weeks of Lýmoca entering the war, they had disabled every enemy anti-air and heavy artillery guns. Even when Lýmoca was still in the phase of lining forwards with a front, their artillery weaponry use was brutal and fantastical. The overall efficiency was anti-enemy-planning.
It helped a lot that these were also Lýmoca-modernized, with the ongoing war hiding the fact from the enemy side, Cerka’s, and Lýmoca not bothering to flaunt it. All that appeared in the morning press conference was the report of various enemy defensive points that ‘disappeared’ from one day to the next.
None of it mattered now. Just like any talks between the south and even from Lýmoca to the rest of the supercontinent, everything went quiet. Except for the new and more intense than ever bickering between ANS and Lýmoca. But that was something that mattered even less.
At least in the Cerk-Ly War in Argopolas…
… Fox looked at everyone in the plane. It was more of a jet, but it still allowed 20 people to sit with separate, widespread and even luxurious seats, if a bit. Standing up, everyone’s attention went to Fox. Nala’s team lacked 2 teammates, with Colmillo staying behind.
Nevertheless, after Fox stood up, they stood up. Everyone’s eyes went to the latter, who were the most widely recognized in the District. Nothing could beat into the morale of both special agents and Lýmoca forces like Raging Blood and the team he was ‘born’ from pulled.
More than anything, their Raging Blood was leading them into battle. Few things could be said about the secret world, but only PSD has been spotted after all this time since these wars began. Argopolas might have their hoogs, but they were used as good as to defend their intel.
But Piya Sanctum District? Just them alone beat the combined efforts of 3 other hoogs, all top-notch and lethal. They also helped terminate the First Ters-Ly War, and the people to do it were on the move again, sent to another war.
It was definitive. Piya Sanctum District, as the other expanding force protecting Lýmoca since the First Ters-Ly War, second to the military forces, had entered the stage no one can back away from. As for what that was exactly, it was fairly unknown.
“Get up.” Fox worded after a few minutes. He pushed a slightly large button to make the hatch open down. It sounded some digital, quick beeps before slowly descending. The plane, along with the others in the formation, leaned their front upwards.
“Meet with your units on the ground, then with me.” Fox added, taking one last look at the interiors before staring at the opening hatch. The skies were grayish, with several clouds covering them ever so slightly.
“Argopolas’s hoog will be under our orders, but keep them for intel with the Whites. The rest… stomp the Cerks here.” Fox covered his visor. His medium NUA transmitted his words to the rest through their communications channel.
“Lye for the District. Lye for the Lys— the old and new. Lye for Moonblue.” Fox’s voice echoed in the channel. Utmost silence accompanied his words, and when they ended, a roar from every Captain on board and in the other planes broke off in response. “Lye!”
Fox crouched, looking down at the ground, which rapidly moved with the formation not slowing down. The cargo planes had let go of their storage, with multiple armored vehicles already parachuting unto the ground. Every Captain had special agents and an allocated vehicle.
The rest was left in their hands. Piya Sanctum District entered the war. With it, the new war effort, more efficient than anything seen before in the history of humanity’s honored warring fascination, finally stepped into the world stage.
‘Down to hell to kill…’ Fox rapidly looked back a bit, grabbing an Esnly rifle with his right arm employing a reverse hold. He picked it up, stock to his chest, and forcibly pulled twice behind the sight before the submachine gun mode turned into the rifle mode.
Nala nodded, picking hers up to her chest, with Esmeralda standing between them wearing the only high NUA in their ranks. She was also armed, but only with 2 Greens and an HS.
…
