Battle For The Centralized Parliament (4)

Phesx Caolia crouched and grabbed a few larger bags to put the smaller ones in. Meanwhile, he spoke to Daniel, who kept running as Phesx and Maria prepared everything. “Daniel, will these work? How should I place them? Is it fine if I place them wherever those limbs come from?”

“Uhh, yeah! But no!” Daniel gasped, hurrying along. “You don’t have to place them there. Just look for whatever seems like a joint, that should be enough!”

“Alright, what are you doing? Soon to safety?” Phesx Caolia said while putting the bags onto his back like a school backpack, with Maria helping him put it on. On the other side of the core hall, Daniel ran beside Karla, “Nope. I’m just checking on Karla. Those fuckers want my thick body to explode. Hellcat, blow them up for me!”

“Mn, that’ll blow them up?” Phesx Caolia nodded, before shaking his head and asking. Daniel responded, with difficulty. “Er… um… no, but they will to themselves with those cannons. You have no idea, that tank isn’t the iconic tank for any supercontinent, but its model is SF-00…”

Phesx Caolia cut the signal before taking his helmet off and facing Maria. Maria took her helmet off and pusher her lips into his, closing her eyes to let the moment elongate as much as possible. Phesx did the same after staring at her.

Mwpoh. Separating their faces, Hellcat asked as he put his helmet on, “Was that a love confession? Is it my chance?”

“No, you’re too small for that. It’ll be bizarre… but maybe if you grow up.” Maria said, giving more than one meaning, making Hellcat humorously scoff through his nostrils and smirk. He looked at the tank, which now ignored them, before grabbing the railing with his left hand, jumping over it.

Maria watched him depart before grabbing her rifle and taking cover. She looked at the sides, worried of his warnings, before refocusing on his back running towards the tank. ‘He is very fast… Does his legs not hurt?’

Hellcat’s speed when rushing to the tank was almost inhumane, especially considering he carried at least his small pistol and those explosives, which weren’t light at all, on his back.

Stomp stomp stomp stomp stomp!

‘…’ Hellcat’s mind was empty as he neared the tank, running through the smooth floor he could see, impulsing himself a little forwards each time. His body felt perfect, although maybe getting tired from running at this speed. He didn’t know how he managed to last several hours when the encampment was assaulted.

Slam!

“…” Hellcat’s body slammed to the tank’s side, but he didn’t even make it tilt. A few machine guns rotated towards where he was, gaining his soldiers some time to breathe. He also heard the footsteps of many more soldiers coming towards here, be it ally or foe, and allied or not, outside the core hall.

He looked up at the small machine guns, which couldn’t get to him. Hellcat grabbed one of his 4 bags and searched for a pincer-like limb’s joint, but it was all smooth and flat. Giving a small machine gun a stare, he went to the limb and faced the ceiling while holding himself around it.

Placing the bag below, Hellcat strapped it around the limb’s curve while the machine gun opened fire in small actions, trying to scare him off, because they were far from touching his body. When Hellcat finished strapping it and let go of his feet, he heard like a door opening.

Looking up, he saw a prei soldier peek out from a lid on the tank’s surface, beside the cannons, wearing headphones to help with the noise. Hellcat had the helmet, but it was costly for Preut, where only assault forces of Prona, the ‘best’ military camp, could afford.

Bang- bang bang- trrrrrrr… Hellcat took his pistol out, with his back on the floor. The upside down view didn’t deter his cognitive agility as he headshot the enemy at once. The prei tumbled backward, fully firing the submachine gun in his left hand after firing it with single action after being shot dead. It didn’t stop until someone else within the tank brought him in, closing the lid.

Hellcat rolled his eyes before doing the same to the other pincer-like limb drilled into the floor. He rapidly strapped the second bag before moving around the tanks’ back, not wanting to pass by where the cannons aimed, not even below, as that turned many to unrecognizable corpses.

“He’s there!” When Hellcat was moving around the corner, with the machine guns following after him, clearly stressed out, another lid opened. He heard a prei soldier speak before feeling shivers down his spine. Looking to his left, he saw someone aim a pistol at him. Hellcat’s eyes widened. He moved his back, placing the explosives behind him, and received a shot to the lower left side.

Bang! Bang bang bang! With his right hand, Hellcat aimed at the 2 preis who came out, shooting the one who shot him on the stomach and head, before blasting the other’s throat. Hellcat almost tripped, feeling the powerful blow of a pistol from so close. But he didn’t kneel and continued crouched, moving to the other side.

“Agh!” Hellcat rapidly found the next limb before hugging it with his legs and using his abdomen to keep his torso near it. He could feel the pain and bleeding from his gunshot wound.

After strapping it, he checked the tank, ensuring no more surprises put him through more torment, before once again beating the shit out of himself to strap the last bag around the fourth limb. 10 seconds later, feeling his fingers getting a little numb, Hellcat returned to the other side.

He faced where Maria was hidden, covering behind a tumbled bookshelf, and gave a thumbs up. Then, he received beeping confirmations from his soldiers while he prepared to rush out, and ignore that gunshot in his abdomen. Once he received them, Hellcat raced away.

Prrrtrrr trrrrrrr trrrrrr ptrrrrrrrrrrr prrrrrrrr- bang bang bang bang! Bang, bang, bang, bang!

At once, 19 soldiers aimed their guns at the tanks’ small machine guns. Maria laid prone to get a good angle as she and Gustavo, from different angles, and more than 250 meters away, deviated one from aiming at their platoon leader.

The rest aimed at the other 3 in groups, barraging them with bullets to deviate them. Even those small things, covered with a layer of that Mintip armor, didn’t have good resilience. As Hellcat ran away, just 30 meters away to cover behind a thick counter, the small machine guns the prei aimed at were all tumbled about like bobbleheads. The tank sparkled with all bullets on it.

“Go,” Hellcat whispered. He didn’t have the device to detonate them, in case he died. That’s why Maria was hell-on bet to not be seen and get killed so far. When she received his call, Maria didn’t waste more than half a second before pressing a small, cylindrical object’s one-sole button.

Bu-tang- BANG, BANG, BANG- BOOOOOM!

The tank roared in incandescent orange lava-like smoke. The tank’s limbs were cut off in the multiple blast, and it not only suffered unbalance, tilting backwards, it also cracked around its front near the canons.

BANG BANG- BANG! The cannons continued firing, only now with their aiming completely out of place. The first 2 shots at the southeast, no longer able to hit the tower, didn’t do much to it, as Hellcat expected after hearing it from Daniel. But a second later, once all cannons reloaded, and the one that aimed at the northeastern tower fired, it sunk backwards into the cannon in the middle. The second cannon then fired, immediately ricocheting 40 meters away at lighting speed.

It flew into the ceiling before starting to fall, but by then, the first cannon had broken apart a segment of the cannon and gotten stuck where the second was; letting Hellcat, who had already stepped out of his cover, listen to fearful screams.

“AAAAH! It broke!” - “My eyes, aah, aaaah, aaaaaaaah!!” - “Medic!” - “He’s down already! Fuck!” - “The radar! There’s someone nearby!” - “Shit!” - “The 3rd is still working…”

“They have to shoot again!” Daniel’s voice sounded from the helmet communications. “Most of their systems should have fried from the inside, but one more will do it…”

Hellcat jogged towards the tank, still feeling tormented by the gunshot in his abdomen. He took his pistol out, preparing its new magazine. He jumped up the tank, peeked in once, unnoticed, before hanging from the open aperture with his small pistol aiming inside, with only 1 arm.

Bang bang bang bang bang bang bang!

“Hellcat! The third cannon is about to shoot! Get away!” Daniel shouted after the third cannon moved, aiming where he was hanging from. Hellcat kicked the tank’s surface and rolled off. He ran away, but when he was halfway back to the counter, the comms sounded again.

“Behind!” Maria shouted, she peeked out of her cover and, with the same rifle, only elongated somewhat, she aimed at the tank before firing. Yet, it was a bit too late.

Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon.

Bang! Pang!

The first sound came from the rifle a prei soldier aimed at Hellcat’s back, penetrating a bullet through his right ankle joint out of pure damn luck. To Hellcat, of course, it was unlucky. The second went from the sharp, immediate snipe shot from Maria’s rifle, breaking apart the prei soldier in 2, blasting most of it into smithereens.

Thud- tumble tumble. Hellcat fell to the floor, his head hurting a little. Only after falling belly-first did he notice he was profusely bleeding from his gunshot. ‘Ah… shit?’

Hellcat turned around when he heard mechanical sliding noises, which gave his body a shiver. He looked at the tank’s 3rd cannon, aiming towards him. The tank was still tilted backwards, and its sole functional cannon would only fire 2 meters above him, but no one would be near that range.

Hellcat watched its lower side heating up, slowly extending to the rest of its structure, very slowly… Hellcat’s body was momentarily paralyzed. Besides, from his lying position to crouching, it would take him 2 seconds with his injuries if he wanted to gain a good stance to lunge away. His light black eyes contents began shrinking, rapidly.

The third cannon heated up completely, going from a melting orange tone color to a reddened one. Then, its banging sound went off. Hellcat’s pupils dilated strangely, as if halving and forming into 2 bubbles in each eye, before gyrating his body to the right.

Crrack crack crack snap snap snap craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack~…

Hellcat’s body, under his soldiers’ eyes, inhumanely rolled to the side. His limbs flailed around without any form, bending, and like jelly, when the cannon fired 0.5 seconds after. Maria had already run 2 platforms away and jumped to the third, when the cannon’s projectile penetrated where she had taken cover before like paper.

BANG! BANG- BANG, BANG, BANG… … boooom…!

The projectile penetrated a few walls before flying out of the ceiling. A few tens of seconds later, when the platoon went to their platoon leader, 80 meters away from the exploded tank, now melting from the cannons’ area to the rest. The projectile exploded very loudly elsewhere on the outside.

Hellcat couldn’t move. He felt his body numb, as if it never excited, or at least no more. He could still see blurry and hear muffled voices. Maria shouted, helping Adams, who immediately treated him, although that was outside his blurry vision. “Why the hell did you say that, Daniel?!”

“I didn’t know there were still living preis inside… oh little heavens, tell me he’ll be alright.” Danial responded weakly, almost sobbing. Adams’ deepened, gasping voice resounded. “I… don’t fucking know, his bon…”

Hellcat submerged into a black screen of heavy eyelids.

Lýmoca, Sargonde state. Year 1,021, 9th month, 3rd week, 7th day.

A group of young men and women waited outside a traditional laundry service building. They chatted and conversed, before a very young woman with blonde hair and an indifferent, cold expression walked out. One could even say her resting face was murderous, yet, exquisite.

“Let’s go,” she said, ordering the others around. They nodded and walked around her, but in truth, they walked near her. The closest ones were a step behind her, following her. A young, pretty woman asked, concerned. “He wasn’t willing?”

“No.” The blonde replied. A young man pressed his lips before speaking to comfort the situation, with no hopes of succeeding if he wanted to comfort her. “Nobody here has children. When we do, we’ll tell you how much it weighs on.”

“Are you saying I couldn’t?” The blonde countered, looking behind at her follower, but still walking. The young man blinked, helpless. He opened his mouth, but his instincts and looks from the others helped him shut up. The blonde didn’t bother and kept walking.

Suddenly, stopping on the sidewalk when a red light from the other side of the street kept them in place, as the others chatted, the blonde said. “Find me an apartment in Proteros…”

She looked down before staring ahead, just before the green light stopped the cars and cleared them the road, “That’s his choice…”

“Yes, cap,” another young woman said, crossing her arms before the blonde led them down the sidewalk, not crossing the street.

Preut, Centralized Parliament. Prona territory.

Inside a medical tent, Phesx Caolia blinked with his eyes closed before lifting his heavy eyelids. The light black eyes as always were shone by light again. He looked at a nurse, Adams, and Maria, who conversed at the tent’s entrance.

“Cough- COUGH, COUGH, COUGH…” Suddenly, Phesx Caolia felt his body recoil before exploding with coughs, loud and wet. He spit phlegm and tiny traces of blood. When he finished, Maria had already driven the nurse out, with Adams helping on the matter, and was sitting beside him, lightly slapping his back.

“Aggh…” Phesx laid on his bed again, relaxed and resting after such tremendous coughing fit. His vision blurred a little before he could see well again. He nibbled his lips while looking behind Maria at a calendar, with only the day visible, telling ‘7th’ instead of ‘6th’.

“How long was I gone? A day?” Phesx asked, not even realizing how his body looked under the sheets. Maria looked down at him and shook her head after blinking once. “2 weeks.”

“… Oh.” Lifting his eyebrows, Phesx looked at Maria’s face. She patted his chest before lifting the sheets. There, he saw all of his body, except the neck, was bandaged. Before he could voice ‘what the fuck happened to me?’, Maria explained. “All of your bodies were… bizarre. They bent, and some even twirled in place. It was very strange. Adams exhausted himself to move them to back position. If we delivered you like that back here, they would’ve just shot you.”

“Waking up like that is not living.” Maria added, checking his temperature. “Mn, you’re getting warm again. But not enough. You need solid food now that your body is…. ‘normal’ again.”

Phesx saw the look in her eyes when emphasizing that ‘normal’ word. He felt her right hand move under his head before he asked her, “Would they have done that?”

“Yeah,” Maria nodded, unperturbed. Phesx Caolia’s light black eyes became distanced. Maria remained in silence until they were on her face again. She continued, “I had to break your bones the first 3 consecutive days because you were… healing on your own.”

“Don’t worry, no medicine you’re allergic to was used on you. You were lucky to be alive when we arrived here.” Maria said. He blew thorough his nostrils before asking with a light smile, “How much medicine was used on me?”

“No, on the contrary. It’s not your worth that kept you alive after that feat. After the tank was destroyed, thousands and thousands of fucking bastards poured in, just as our comrades and preqs showed up. However, when we arrived here, we exposed you to the watching soldiers, especially those who knew your face. Your tummy showed breathing, and some remembered your deeds. So, the higher-ups had to keep you alive. You’re lucky.”

“Um, I see,” Phesx’s face didn’t react, resting his sight on Maria’s face, not illuminated by the lights in the tent. Then, he poked her left backhand resting on his tummy and voiced ‘pu’ before expressing, “Thank you… for not asking more.”

“You did the same for me when I opened up to you, soldier.” Maria nodded slightly. Then, Phesx grinned and made another ‘pu’, this time more humorous, before lowering her face with his right hand on her left cheek. It was a light and gentle pull, more intuitive than physical, but her face went down like he manhandled her. Mwpah…

After a long transaction between saliva and pressing each other’s lips on the other’s, she lifted her head with wide eyes. “Where was that from? Do you love me?”

“No,” Phesx responded, not hesitating once. “It just thought it would feel good. Mn, it felt just right. Besides, hasn’t your hand been caressing my head all this long? Do you love me?”

“…” Phesx felt Maria’s fingers below his head stop caressing him, tenderly and just to give him comfort. She also looked at him without giving a word. She shook her head, “No. You’re too young. That would still be bizarre. As I said, perhaps when you grow up. Otherwise… Our relations are purely physical comfort, is it not? Why would I go for more?”

“Mn, unless…” Phesx nodded before innocently looking at her belly. Maria looked down as well, before staring up at him, opening her mouth in shock and steeling her eyes. “You were just thinking… how dare you!”

“Ouww, awff– heh- haha, wait, I’m ill…” From the tent, Phesx’s words echoed a little, only enough for the squad outside to smirk at each other and share lustful, perverted glances. It was almost as if their squad leader was corrupted by their platoon leader under their machinations.

… A few hours later, after going through procedures, and causing a loud cheering sound in the pronas tents, Phesx was helped to a small black tent. It was where Maria has been resting for the past 2 weeks. It smelled like her, and had her unique femininity.

“The tank destroyed 2 towers, the southwestern and northwestern towers. One of Prequa and the other their own. That last cannon shell? It blasted the Prei tower from the center. Hundreds died just there,” Maria elaborated as they laid facing the ceiling.

“Just there? Hm?” Phesx pressed for more, becoming intrigued, and proud? Maria nodded with a neutral expression, “Then, the shell continued moving into the sky, arching towards their command post. Even with the preis running from it, many high-ranked officers were reached. It was just a nice beginning.”

“Hm~,” Phesx smirked. Maria faced him, supporting her head up with her leg and hand on him.

With such intimacy move, Phesx felt a… twinge in his heart? It was soft, and it correlated to his brain and body reactions. Maria continued, just beginning to brief him on these 2 weeks’ happenings.

“Preqs were exhilarated, and after the stalemate at the core, we joined hands to shrink the preis back to their little turtle shell. Once that happened, we hunted the remaining criminal scum and paramilitary groups. The latter remains in the parliament, but the scum ran away.”

“Just as we ended the little alliance with the preqs, the scum noticed the immense number of artillery they had. They actually stole half their remaining artillery, whatever was left from the first day. Hmph~,” Maria sharply hooked the left corner of her mouth.

“Well deserved…” Phesx commented, also in a good mood, but tired. He ate, after 2 weeks of liquid and being cleaned by others. It felt exhausting. Maria cocked her head a little, “The prei and preq generals are still alive, though.”

Maybe she saw wrong, but Maria witnessed a glint in his eyes.

“Well, we took advantage of the preqs’ situation and stormed over their tower. Now, their tens of thousands are spread across the southern halls and core. It’s all a hellish all-out, never-ending combat out there. Few return from every team, although it’s better when they go in groups of 100 or a little less. For soldiers, at least. Mn, other assault troops have been… reckless.”

“Well, that’s enough of the situation in the parliament.” Maria said, leaning half her body on his left side. Phesx looked at her face, curious. “Hm?”

Maria straddled him, bending her back and holding his jaw with gentle grasps, with her face just above his. Their eyes locked into each other’s and the other’s face, none looking away. “I’ve been waiting for 2 weeks and a day. Make it up to me.”

She lowered her lips, removing her clothes. If he had to take his off, that would come later, her needs and desire for his touch came first. Who was Phesx, someone who might die later, to refuse?
