Chapter 93 — Sweet

Sweet

Phesx placed his left hand under her chin, resting it yet grasping her. She didn't move away from his hold and caress as he spoke, “That young woman is most likely the one to orchestrate your almost-demise. As for the young man? Probably her toyboy or something. She didn't even blink when I shot him, if only in the first shot.”

“Besides,” Phesx pushed his body into her a bit more. Roroa still didn’t move away, and she even stood still, going against his pushes as if welcoming him. “Didn’t I tell you I can decipher a person’s act within just seconds? I had more time to reevaluate them.”

“Don’t think I’ll just admit you’re right because you told me that some time ago,” Roroa finally turned around and said. Her chin up, her eyes penetrating from beneath her mask. Phesx watched the ‘scenery’ before lightly holding her hands from bottom to top.

“Mn, it might not be enough. But I have something to show you,” Phesx lowered his head towards her. Roroa parted her lips, albeit a little, before closing them again with her face still up. Maybe out of her habit to welcome him and indulge, or just a few more words she wished to speak being halted.

Phesx wasn’t finished yet, so he continued, “You want to learn, don’t you? I can see you laze around, but nobody will be here to stop you. Mn, maybe you tried to manage them more directly and didn’t end up well. Here, nobody can stop me from giving you a lesson. If you’re willing.”

“… Fine. What is your lesson going to be about?” Roroa fell silent. It wasn’t until her chest heaved a little that she voiced, headstrong and with her brain choosing. Phesx lightly nodded, pulling her out of the room and opening the door while saying, “Steel your heart first.”

Roroa went silent, pondering on his words. Phesx brought her out of the mansion and into one of the storage facilities. He entered the code and opened the gates, where a few guards were watching over the stairs to the underground section.

Phesx walked past them, bringing Roroa with him, who adopted a stern, solid attitude as she walked past the guards.

Coming down the stairs, she turned around its corner to see 5 different people who used to roam around her during the day; some guards of her daily life since several months ago.

Now, they were hung by their wrists from the ceilings, with thick chains but thin contraptions tightened around their wrists. Some had blood coming out their skin, and they only wore ‘tough’ pants that couldn’t be any less natural or ordinary.

“You prepared this for me,” Roroa said without beating around bushes. Phesx casually nodded, placing his hand on her lower back before bringing her closer to the guards. They looked at her with squinted eyes, but so far, nobody seemed guilty, or about to implore.

“They are ‘tough guys’. They were discovered, but they know that staying silent is smart. Anyone would want to leave the quiet alone after torture, unless one knows what they’ve done.” Phesx Caolia started explaining.

He gestured to the man in the middle, “This one’s everyone’s boss. He knows more information than the others. Although he doesn’t have ties with the organized crime, he does business with them. One didn’t stop the other. Of course, he would never send himself to most-likely-death. So he sent that person who almost struck you. Even one flying object from the explosive wave would’ve been enough to send you down the path to the heavens.”

“…” Roroa opened her mouth amidst his words, looking at the man who awkwardly stared at them. She then thought for a few seconds before speaking, “That still doesn’t attest to them being chained like this, half-naked, and without any proper procedure.”

She looked at him, “And what about the young man and woman? Are they chained like this? They are workers of my choosing, and my responsibility. Their families, no matter how crooked they are, are unrelated to this. Why give them pain from nowhere? Wouldn’t that sow discord alone?”

“Mm, yes,” Phesx nodded. “Doing something like this to workers isn’t feasible, but they can still be punished accordingly instead of being thrown to the cutely uniformed forces.”

“You think everyone’s corrupt?” Roroa exclaimed, about to start another sermon, but Phesx stopped her with more of his words. “Of course not. But many are from the highest among them. Which is more than enough already.”

“Where are the females here?” Roroa asked after looking at Phesx in silence. Phesx scarcely grinned at her cleverness. He never hid information from her or Yoali about the people he imprisoned anyway. Phesx placed his hands behind his back before replying, “They are elsewhere. No matter how ready you can be, you still think of females as frail beings.”

“That means you’re not ready,” Phesx further stated. Roroa’s chest, which was just heaving up and down in breathing, calmed down. He gestured to the chained guards with his chin upwards, saying, “These people conspired against you. Tried to kill you. There’s only an end for them now.”

“What about a trial? They have families, too. We already don’t trust the authorities. Do we also not care about other peoples’ lives? When will there be a line to it?” Roroa also gestured to them with her hands, looking at Phesx before staring at them. Phesx exclaimed lowly, “There’s none of that when they threatened you. They were prepared to destroy and kill you, only feeling remorse they couldn’t help with the former. Do families do that?”

“…” While she seemed bratty, somehow, and her doubts to his methods were many. Phesx didn’t blame her for being annoying and answered, to which Roroa silently processed. As such, Roroa looked at these people with a lot less ‘duty’ to speak for as before.

“So, what now?” Roroa called out. One of the guards whimpered before opening his mouth to soothingly bark. “Miss, please spare me. I, as you have said, have a wife and children. My whole family is big, too. I can’t leave them alone in such a condition.”

“Miss, please,” another guard, this time their leader, spoke out. “Take me, but these men worked with me only for money. I drew them into this path with money and benefits. Punish me, but let the others go.”

“Do you feel it?” Phesx spoke, standing behind her right ear. Roroa’s eyes opened from slightly narrowing them. She looked at Phesx briefly before staring at the chained guards, shaking her head. Phesx whispered, “Their need to beg after seeing you defend them from me, the country’s worst criminal. You question me and I always reply patiently. They see me lower, you higher.”

“… Is it this easy for their ideals to change?” Roroa asked, but Phesx didn’t answer. While she questioned him in a whisper, the guards heard her. Moreover, Phesx felt that she was questioning herself more than she did him.

“But they’re still not dogs for us to kill as we please after biting their master,” Roroa sounded decided. She looked at Phesx and exclaimed, “No lives are for others to claim. Why do we have to? Can’t I just show them goodwill? Is it really so bad?”

“Pity them if you want,” Said Phesx Caolia, taking a handgun out from his pants rear. “Feel sorry and be compassionate towards them. Search for more excuses in your honorable mind. Nothing is wrong with that.”

“But those families they have are being fed by the money you’ve given them. They can keep a home and not worry about medicine while millions in this nation can’t do either or both. Forgive them for just ‘wanting more’. But like with your workers, they will only be the first.”

“I don’t know about ruling or managing an organization, but you are a leader not because you perform honorable acts and search the better good in everything. Leaders make the better good for their people. These are just rats, and where one appeared, others can follow.”

Phesx grabbed her right wrist and put the handgun in her hand. He looked at her and further stated, “You wouldn’t be killing them because of the righteousness of a cause. You’ll do it to show everyone else you can.”

“…” Roroa fell silent, and Phesx could feel she was tensely frowning, pondering on everything she’s heard. With gun in her hand, the guards returned to their previous state. She gulped nervously and grasped her gun to her waist level. Phesx interjected, holding her wrist to say, “Remember, you are a leader, not an asset. You don’t have to do everything yourself.”

“Sigh.” Roroa felt a weight drop from her shoulders. She looked at the handgun in her right, caressed it, and looked up at Phesx. She drew a wide breath into her lungs before nodding, facing the chained guards, “I have decided. This is something I can’t ignore. Fox.”

Phesx looked at her. Roroa took a step forward and slightly lifted her right hand towards them, declaring, “I have decided to execute these guards… Kill them for me.”

She passed the handgun towards Phesx in the same position. He walked forth and gently grabbed the handgun from her hand. Nodding at her, Phesx aimed at the guards, shooting their leader last. Bang bang bang bang bang.

Phesx didn’t hesitate, of course. Roroa jolted with the first 2 shots. When their leader’s turn came, she looked at his eyes and saw fear. He looked at her with begging eyes as his people died. Suddenly, it hit her. Yes, they would do anything for survival, but for money? That, too.

Her eyes were put at ease as the last chained guard was headshot and fell limp with his hands still up. Phesx didn’t waste time and brought the princess out of the ‘slaughterhouse’. The guards above remained silent, descending the stairs after Phesx walked out of the facility.

While the guards cleaned, Roroa turned around to see some of them walk down the stairs. She then looked at Phesx and grabbed the sleeves of his upper arms, finally noticing he was holding her forearms. “That was so fast. You didn’t give me any chance to change my mind, or leave someone alive.”

“Were you going to?” Phesx asked after rising his left eyebrow. Roroa let go of his sleeves and opened her mouth, feeling a bit difficult to breath. Phesx stored the handgun and slightly held her in his arms. After meekly shaking her head, Roroa rested her forehead against his sternum.

Some time later, as the guards came back up the stairs with black plastic bags and buckets filled with ‘water’, Roroa stepped back and looked up at Phesx. “I’m expecting more from you from now on. You wouldn’t leave me hanging now, would you? Show me more. I need to… learn more.”

“…” Phesx remained silent before nodding at her. His multiple contents eyes made Roroa pensive before she walked away a little. She stopped and turned her head back, Phesx kept his eyes on her. The notion made her pause for a moment. Then, she demanded, “While I’m not letting you to my body any time soon, I need someone to hold me tonight.”

Before Phesx could make a remark, whether he wanted to or not, Roroa turned around completely and added, “No. I’m not looking to be comforted, nor am I scared. I just need someone to hold me. It’s not universal. You either do it or you never come back to me. Understood? Clean this filth quick and don’t keep me waiting.”

Roroa left with flurried steps. Despite the overall heat across Lýmoca, this night, here, was colder than in most of Lýmoca. Phesx watched her leave halfway to the mansion before giving indications to his hand radio. Then, he walked to another precinct.

… 20 minutes later, Phesx walked to Roroa’s room. He could still hear noises from Yoali’s bedroom, and a sleeping, contented maid further away in hers.

Opening the door with care, Phesx heard Roroa’s breath momentarily stop, as she lied on the bed, facing the door with her back. He stared at her before entering the bed for a good while. Taking his jacket, pants, shoes, and sockets off, he got comfortable to join her under the sheets.

Phesx spooned her, feeling her tremble for a few instants before begrudgingly calming down, too used to his touch and him holding her. Her nostrils even let out a calmed moan before falling silent. The lights dimmed out in their own as Phesx pulled her closer to his chest with his arms around her solar plexus.

Closing his eyes, feeling her fingertips slightly trace his forearms before holding him with her hands. Phesx let out a relaxed sigh from his nostrils, falling asleep before her.

… Several hours later, in the morning. Phesx opened his eyes. Feeling her on his chest, he looked down, finding her little mask up against his collarbone. Her nostrils seemed intent on keeping her position, smelling him well.

“Hmf.” A small blow from his nostrils awakened her. Her head bobbed a little on his chest before she faced him upwards. Her lips trembled, but she didn’t do anything. Phesx thought, ‘Still punishing me?’

As if reading his thoughts, Roroa pressed her lips, replying to him, ‘Yes, I am.’

Phesx shook his head and pulled her tight into his chest. Roroa offered no resistance as her cheeks cushioned against his collarbone. Her eyes felt like resting, and her nostrils flared up a little. At last, Roroa realized she couldn’t hide her little antics anymore and just sniffed his aroma in before hugging him back.

Her hands snaked around his sides before rubbing her face on his shirt. Before Phesx could breathe the air in his lungs out, she murmured, sounding especially spoiled, “Don’t let go. Keep it this way. Don’t move.”

“…” Phesx didn’t even offer a nod, but that seemed fitting with what she wanted. Roroa couldn’t help but place a couple of kisses on his collarbone before stopping, deciding it was enough forgiveness of ‘you’re doing fine’ for the morning, and the rest of the day.

Phesx Caolia had noting to say. In fact, he just accepted it. He didn’t find a reason not to, and he felt good following that decision. Thus, for the rest of the day, he shared her bed with her, albeit not like he would’ve imagined not too long ago.

… For the following 2 days, Phesx diligently comforted the princess. He had to work hard during them because of his absence in the day after the event, but he cleared things with Yoali for the future preparations until the situation was resolved and the client could return.

He moved everyone around the villa, preparing for actual fortifications in the terrain, and to formulate a network for the security team. What’s more, in the next week, Phesx would begin ‘slightly’ training them.

He wouldn’t make them special agents like himself, or any special agent, but protectors to shield his client, who wouldn’t forget what they were here for. Phesx planned to be rough, only not at the beginning. It was indeed complicated to come by with so many hundreds of loyal people, and these wasn’t everyone, only those in the villa.

As for the further screening, that would be Yoali’s issue for when Phesx’s client returned to her daily life.

About Yoali, during the 2 days Phesx nursed Roroa’s mentality, and hence comforted her, she came to visit them once and deliver diner. Phesx Caolia was already comfortable, so he was in his boxers. She took advantage and teased him of now he was being the one trying to ‘give himself’ to the other, before retreating to her room.

Either way, Phesx’s training to these guards would be meant to engrave it into their minds so they could train the other guards, and so would the workers ‘doctrine’ the others after this was over.

Nevertheless, when Phesx returned from a stressing day building the network for Roroa’s security team, aided by the few cybernetic engineers experts in the team, he saw Roroa stand before her bed.

Now, it really felt like she had something with standing close to her bed. Phesx cautiously stepped in and neared her, taking his clothes out; slowly. Roroa slightly turned her head to look at him with the corners of her eyes.

When he arrived behind her, completely naked, and sticking his front to her back, she exhaled in delight before relaxing her arms, stretching them upwards before lowering them to her skirt. She wore a pale pink nightgown dress, with its hem stopping above her knees.

Phesx didn’t move or grab anything, simply letting her feel his ‘apologetic’ side and… need.

Even without his body, or those conveyed emotions, Roroa had her own plan. She grabbed the hem of her skirt and lifted it, revealing her bare, exquisite bum smoothly, followed by her delicious back, and ended with her swaying breasts held by his hands to stop their bouncing around.

Keeping them in place, massaging them, Phesx’s breathing hardened, and so did Roroa as she started swaying her hips on his groins. Little by little, bending over the bed together, reconciliation, if it could be called that, took place. Soft, tender, warm… pure, ardent passion.

. . .

3 months passed since the convoy arrived at the villa.

Phesx Caolia has worked from day to night during the following month and few weeks to keep the villa secured, and his client even safer.

The villa’s perimeter had a 2 meters tall, wooden fence with more motion detection than aggressive deterrence. There was a bit of wildlife in the surroundings, after all. Furthermore, the princess still went on rides, although not as much as before, and without creating a pattern.

Phesx was teaching her well, although it was not much. Considering he appreciated his time here, and her, no matter in which angle he looked at it, it would be better if she could learn to survive on her own for him.

The guards’ training went as expected. While they wouldn’t have extreme reflexes nor sensory skills, their protecting efficiency towards his client increased and would continue to as they trained for the following months and even years.

The days’ most stressful moments were when Phesx had to work that network. Even with help, being something so new, of which he was still learning with Mena’s handwritten manuals, Phesx had a little struggle to become proficient in it. Thankfully, the cybernetic engineers Yoali poached were pretty flexible and understanding to Phesx’s requests.

Not much could be done now. Even the machinery brought to build the fences’ soil and further underneath were gathering dust in their facilities. At least, Phesx gained a few more firearms, with a few select being trained to be snipers to protect Roroa even better. Phesx had to ask Yoali to bring him the 10 most loyal, of which he chose 2 for this matter.

Like the other trainings, they would find someone capable enough and pass on Phesx’s teaching. It wasn’t something unique and powerful, but it was different to what they were used to. In comparison, the team’s already existent snipers were like kittens before a growing lion cub.

But all that continued on its own. Phesx and Roroa continued their livelihood together, too. However, one obvious change was that their relationship during the day stopped consisting in so much sexual activity, replaced with… just spending time, together or not. On the other hand, their schedule to return ‘home’ and talk about life became sooner than before the event occurred.

Indeed, they couldn’t wait every day to fuck each other’s brains. All night, or as long as they could, however they wanted, and unreserved.

Today, for example, it was the year 1,025, 6th month, 3rd week, and 7th day. After the first ‘incident’, Yoali no longer follows them everywhere all the time. Besides, anyone passing by Roroa’s bedroom at night could feel the natural warmth leak from her room. Yoali was more than relieved to have Phesx protect, and bang, Roroa.

It was a type of double care that only she, Yoali, the Security Chief, could understand.

This afternoon, Phesx and Roroa were undergoing a set of stretching movements almost alone. They were still in the mansion, in one of the remodeled large rooms. Other maids and butlers here were relaxing or also stretching, but Phesx and the princess were a few distances from them, not necessarily because they looked down on them. Rather, it felt more natural for the others to draw this line.

Just as they finished their sets, Phesx and Roroa relaxed their bodies, facing each other. Roroa sweated a little, while Phesx barely did so under his shirt. She drank from her bottle before stepping closer to him.

In front of everyone’s eyes, like the most natural act in the world, she gulped down her water and kissed him. Her lips pressed his with such regard that it stole everyone’s breaths and attention away. Her eyes were closed with delicacy, and her left hand beamed, resting on his right shoulder. When it ended, their lips inadvertently made a bit of noise, swift and meaty, but light.

Then, she spoke before walking to the exit. Her right hand caressed him from the neck to his lower belly as she stepped away. “Since we’re leaving early morning, let’s get to rest sooner. This is for everyone else, too. Hey, I’ll be waiting…”

“…” Phesx Caolia remained behind, blinking. He thought, grabbing his cold water bottle and drinking half the long bottle’s contents in one go, ‘This… really, what kind of woman is she?’

He was contented, nonetheless.
