Chapter 14 — Alias

Alias

Phesx Caolia woke up to kisses from a beauty, still unknowingly connected in the most passionate way. His groggy eyes watched as a pair of lips refused to go off his until he bit them twice. Priscila separated from him, letting a 'plop' sound from somewhere, before kneeling beside him to put her clothes on. “I was already finishing anyway. Hurry, there might be a feast waiting for us.”

Phesx Caolia blinked, waking up, before following her suit. He yawned and sneaked glances at his comrade, who giggled and teased him back. After a minute, they exited the tent, with both in a good mood.

“Feeling great, I see.” As soon as Phesx Caolia came to everyone’s view, he noticed, and ignored, their knowing smiles. Paul voiced a little, making Phesx Caolia blush. Meanwhile, the kitten supreme walked forward, relaxed and in high spirits.

“Let’s go back.” Paul nodded at his team before heading to the truck. “Girls, to the back. Let us men talk heart-to-heart, no shirts allowed.”

“Woo!” The female soldier cheered before packing Phesx Caolia’s tent, the only one left behind, with Priscila. The dudes went into the truck while the back was readied up. Phesx Caolia sat on the back, between the older soldier and his comrade, while Paul drove.

“Okay, little Hellcat, let me just tell you this so you can prepare.” Paul said, slapping his thighs. When he heard a knock on the back of the truck’s floor, he started the engine. Phesx Caolia looked attentively, curious. Then, Paul dropped the soup, “Thanks for putting the team at attention all night long, but now, tell us. How was it?”

‘Oh boy.’ Phesx Caolia felt a somber shadow eclipse over him as he looked at the two sitting beside him. Even the older soldier had a grin that said all Phesx Caolia needed to know, no doubts were left in his heart. He sighed in defeat, “Phuu…”

… They drove for less than an hour before arriving at the encampment. The entry felt different from when he first came here, feeling like this camp was welcoming him.

When they returned to the military zone, they were welcomed big time by a few instructors and many soldiers. The new recruits, just like Phesx Caolia had done, watched as they started sweating from just warming up a little far away.

“Here he comes, wuaaaa!” - “Hehehe, all grown-up. Another little bat has formed in our cave, wooo!” - “Look! He already looks like a grown-up man, doesn’t he?” As soon as Phesx Caolia stepped out of the truck, he was welcomed by loud words and most of his hut’s comrades.

There was a white cake with purple cream around the perimeter in the middle, held by a serious Em, who looked like he was just doing his job. León was at the corner of the group, looking in jealousy as everyone treated Phesx Caolia differently than when he returned.

When Phesx Caolia was a few meters before the cake and Em, he realized something and stopped. However, Paul and the older soldier had long been on guard. They slapped his shoulders from behind before helping bring his body forward. Phesx Caolia tried stopping it, using his heels like hooks to drift through the dirt, to no avail.

“Aigh,” cruelly accepting reality, Phesx Caolia sighed and closed his eyes in defeat. He lowered his head before slowly opening his eyes and lifting his head later. The cake was just 2 seconds away from him. He steeled his heart and opened his jaws, mimicking a bite. That’s when it happened, Emilio brought the cake below his chin, with Paul and the older soldier slamming Phesx Caolia’s face against it. His fate was sealed.

“Woooo!” - “Get that, rat!” - “Welcome!” - “What does it taste? Better than pussy, huh?!” - “Oh heavens, shut up. He’s a kid!” - “Err! He ain’t! Look! Isn’t he in that phase? He’s just learned what motivational drug means.” - “Wooo! The prophecy! It’s true!” - “Come on, hey. Take the cam- bwahahaha! Tell me you took a picture of that…”

After being heartlessly brutalized by the comrades he has shared a hut with for almost half a year, Phesx Caolia was brought to a different place, where the soldiers could drink liquor. Only a select few units could drink liquor every few weeks or a couple of months. Planned by Paul, he calculated so Phesx Caolia could get the high-end treatment in the military zone after his rite.

Thus, Phesx Caolia tasted liquor for the first time in his life, with his first woman challenging him to a few cans, before the party made an officer come and berate them. In the end, they were allowed a bit more of celebrations. Of course, the officer left, but not without something to ‘celebrate’ for himself.

… The party was mostly over, but Phesx Caolia still had something to do. Because he was young, didn’t have enough volume, and was his first time drinking, Paul told him to get a ‘resistance candy’ elixir from somewhere. Having his trusted doctor, Phesx Caolia arrived at a small ‘infirmary’.

“You’ve returned,” a female, mature voice sounded as soon as he opened the entrance. Phesx Caolia went in and met Sofia, trying to hold his breath, but Sofia turned around from her desk, still on her chair, and smiled. “What, you think I’ll be worried about you getting some liquor? You must feel terrible, only tasting but not feeling. Come, I’ll give you something sweet.”

Sofia stood up and grabbed 2 large cups from her desk’s lower drawer. She walked to a reception desk where a hot chocolate machine was, and turned it on before returning with him. Phesx Caolia seemed somewhat distracted, he kept looking at his nails.

“What? Another illusion?” Sofia asked him, taking his wrists and examining them softly. She frowned a little, feeling like his bones seemed… a little sturdier and elongated? Yet, they were the exact same length and volume.

“No, I just keep feeling strange…” Phesx Caolia shook his head but didn’t move his head away. He calmly elaborated, “Yesterday, I caught a small boar- no, a baby boar. I crushed its back and front, reaching its heart. I don’t really know if it had some injury beforehand, but I did it easily. Since then, I’ve felt a tingling sensation between my nails and meat. It makes me feel a bit of… ticklish, and an electrifying vibration. I feel like I now have accumulated strength within me.”

“Hmm, they do seem a bit ‘touched’.” Sofia said, examining his nails in detail, lifting them to her eye level. She rubbed each of them on top before grabbing something from her jeans’ rear pockets. Sofia showed a small, stout bottle of pills to him, holding it with cyan-painted nails before his face.

“These are a very special kind of medicine. They are ultrarare.” Sofia said, showing excited eyes. However, Phesx Caolia could see how much more willing she was to give them to him in her eyes. Her white skin had become a little paler, but her long, smooth black hair had been well taken care of.

“How rare are these?” Phesx Caolia asked, gently taking them from her fingers. Sofia smiled a little from the right corners of her lips, “Even Lýmoca’s president couldn’t get these. It was in his last year of his first term that he had people develop it. Many wonder what kind of secret he uncovered, because this is one of a kind in the world’s history. Anyway, many contribute it to luck. I like to believe in-… people’s capabilities.”

“Everyone in the world wants one, but they are too costly and efficient. Every leader of a nation obtained one a few months ago, leaving many oligarchs thirsting for it. I have no idea how some criminals got it.” Sofia was marveled, caressing Phesx Caolia’s head as he read it.

“You didn’t…” After hearing her words, Phesx Caolia slowly lifted his head and voiced his concern. Sofia smiled and caressed the back of his head, smiling with narrowed eyes at the silly kid. “Of course not. It was from a kill. A little someone gave it to me before it fell on anyone’s reports. I’d get killed otherwise.”

“Mn.” Phesx Caolia seriously nodded. He understood. A slight beeping sound went off from the chocolate machine. Sofia went to check it. She remained behind the reception for 2 minutes, preparing a bunch of things before returning to Phesx Caolia.

Meanwhile, he popped open the lid and took one of the medicine’s most valued light silver-blue pills in the world without much expectation. He read its name while he felt it fall in his stomach and start doing its ‘wonders’.

‘Hmm, Vicissitudes.’ Phesx Caolia nodded, feeling a little rumbling in his stomach, but nothing much. Sofia walked to him, passing one of the hot chocolate cups to him. It had square marshmallows on it, threatening to melt if he didn’t eat them quick. He mentally smiled before taking a sip quickly. Then, unable to stop, he took one after another.

It was brownish, foamy, and so good…

Sofia watched with fully open eyes, calmly sipping her chocolate little by little. In over a year, she went from being mature in front of this kid to follow his tendencies in not hiding her likes. Besides, she became really good at making hot chocolate, not even the officers who usually visit her, can deny her.

“Do you still want this?” Sofia asked him, showing him a pink pellet with lateral lines forming gaps in the middle. It was the size of a pinky’s fingertip, quite small. Phesx Caolia looked down at it before finishing his hot chocolate. “Yep.”

“It will only last 3 to 4 hours, so don’t waste it drinking coffee. Alright?” Sofia added, tapping his forehead with 2 fingers. Phesx Caolia pouted, dispirited and wronged. Sofia warmly reminded him, “Don’t abuse.”

“There you go, I already let it bathe in your hot chocolate beforehand. Will you do more than drinking alcohol?” Sofia said before blurting out. Phesx Caolia nodded, looked at her with a neutral expression, and said, “Paul will bring me whoring tonight.”

“Nope, I don’t need to know more. Take care,” Sofia turned around after gently bumping his forehead with her closed fingers. She could enjoy her hot chocolate without hearing those things.

Phesx Caolia innocently walked out of the office, placing the pink pellet on his tongue. Before he retracted his tongue, it latched onto its meat before slowly integrating itself within, melting. Feeling the breath of hot chocolate going into his nostrils, Phesx Caolia felt that liquor wasn’t so bad after all.

With an unbendable back, he returned to Paul, who brought him to the kitten household asap. There, along with some fellow soldiers, Phesx Caolia went into the numerous tents and cottages, recently built, to see if there was any food to taste.

Seeing a lot of pretty girls, from young to mature, to the point Sofia could join the club if she was like that, Phesx Caolia walked around. Maybe he was picky, but even those who immediately caught his attention and were checking their phone, bored, didn’t attract him.

He wasn’t a lecher, at least not yet. But since he’s already entered a world like this, limiting oneself to the hero’s path and getting no girls would be awfully funny if he accidentally dies before going into the actual battle.

When Phesx Caolia went deep into the kitten household zone, he caught Priscila’s cottage nearby. He walked around but didn’t see her anywhere, probably shaking her ass elsewhere. Phesx Caolia pouted, as she was at least someone he liked to talk with and got used to. Just as he was leaving, he looked at a nearby, smaller cottage. His instincts told him to go…

Thus, being an intuitive slave, Phesx Caolia listened to them and parted the curtain. Immediately, he was stunned. Before him, a meter before the doorstep, a light ebony beauty spread her legs in the doggy position, arching her body like a banana, and role-played as a spring like the one Phesx Caolia showered with yesterday.

She was on the bed, and when she heard someone enter, she whimpered before greeting him with a ‘V’ sign using the back of her hand, letting the lukewarm water continue falling on her exotic bedsheets.

‘My oh my.’ Phesx Caolia quickly thought. Then, the young woman looked back, sweetly saying, “Mmf, I thought you forgot about me. What are you wait- ayo? Hii~.”

“Hello,” Phesx Caolia smoothly greeted her back and waved his right hand up to his chest. She had black hair braided backwards, big black eyes, a tiny body, and was pretty short. Phesx Caolia was a polite person, so he only glanced at her body a few seconds before inquiring, “Have you seen Priscila?”

“I think she left with a trio. Hey, what’s your name?” The beauty asked him, so Phesx Caolia had to respond. “I’m Phesx. Sorry, I won’t bother you anymore.”

“Are you sure you don’t want to stay?” She returned to her earlier pose, showing Phesx Caolia how to hold a paper roll if he could only use two fingers while the rest of his hands were busy. He couldn’t help sucking a deep breath of air. Her moaning voice went out, “I heard many things about you. She just wouldn’t stop. Is it true? About… your family relics and stamina?”

“Cough,” Phesx Caolia felt embarrassed, alright. However, he was convinced, but still had a few restraints left. “What about your partner, though?”

“You are here, no? I’m Fer, by the way.” Fer said, still showing Phesx Caolia what she was doing ‘there’. Phesx Caolia blushed more, before walking forward. He stopped behind her, making her gasp and giggle a little. Then, he said before lowering his head, “Well, Fernanda. Nice to meet you.”

“Nice to- Oooh!” Fernanda exclaimed, feeling a gentle hand grab her wrist and bring it away, before a mouth greeted her second mouth. It didn’t take long before Phesx Caolia employed his learnt tactics, grabbing that small, narrow waist. Those arms, fair and short, or her hair. Wherever it was, it was easy to grab a hold of her and play.

“Huh? Hey! Who are you? She’s my kitten!” A few minutes later, someone entered her cottage and demanded an answer, smelling of perfume. A few seconds later, he was thrown out with a few shoes expertly hitting his head. Thereon, they were left alone for the rest of the night.

… In the early morning, before 5 AM, Phesx Caolia gave the nice young lady a smooch on her forehead. Wholly different to what he did to the rest of her face just 20 minutes ago. He stood up and dressed before exiting the cottage. Priscila still wasn’t back, or the other ‘high’ kittens at the center, so he just headed to the exit.

‘Hm?’ Phesx Caolia heard something, raising his right eyebrow, he looked in that direction before walking around a few corners. He came across a peculiar scene.

Yells, agitation, and an abusive person among others. There were 4 people, 1 of them was Priscila. The others were a young man and a young woman, whom Phesx Caolia didn’t know. The last person was a tall, slightly fat person, who seemed to have just found Priscila with them.

He seemed agitated, yelling at her for an answer, and he wouldn’t leave without verified benefits. However, Priscila put up a front with him, despite him being over 2 meters tall. He lifted his right hand, but Priscila jerked her head the other way before slapping him. Immediately after, she was slapped by his right hand, making her lower her body for a short while.

A cut appeared on her left cheek. At that moment, Phesx Caolia’s narrowed his light black eyes, moving them to the man’s face, staring calmly.

Priscila walked off after staring off at the man, leaving with half a reddened face. The other two continued talking shit with the tall man, but the latter left after many others came by and surrounded him, leaving with his hands up.

. . .

5 days later. It was already the year’s fourth month. Usually, soldiers go on tasks once or twice per week, but mostly once.

At the workshops in the military zone, Phesx Caolia was working on a barrel with several gaps around its muzzle area. Its lower end needed repairing after being dismantled completely. It suffered internal damage due to unprofessional maintenance.

Being paid a good amount of social credits for this, Phesx Caolia spent his last few days relaxing in these workshops. He didn’t need a helmet whenever he welded, allowing for a quick movement between parts and tables, although he had to use glasses. He wasn’t fire-proof.

“Ooooi, what’s with this part?”

Whoosh. Hearing Priscila’s yell, Phesx Caolia gave his current task a few more touches before moving to the other half of the workshop. He looked at a piece of small artillery, with Priscila working on the lower mechanisms near its foundation. She wore a mask, the doofus.

Phesx Caolia poked her butt with his right index finger before helping her sit up. Then, cuddling her out of nowhere, he showed her what to do, making hand signs as obvious as he could before proceeding. In return, Priscila wouldn’t stop nodding and voicing ‘ah, ah, ah, ah~’ at his silent instructions.

“Mmm, thank you!” Priscila smiled, turned around and made him eyes, blinking them many times, cutely. Then, she pointed at another few areas before asking, “What are the weak spots of an artillery, what would make it more dangerous?”

Phesx Caolia looked at her face before immediately explaining, “This, this, this, and that. As long as those places aren’t well welded, or their openings aren’t sealed close, just moving the piece might cause friction and explode it. It’s not certain it will chain-react, but if they were to fail their safety measures almost at the same time, it might blow up. These are pretty old yet potent.”

“Aah, you know it all.” Priscila nodded, praising him before smooching his lips twice. Phesx Caolia returned the gesture, satisfying the crazed young woman before she turned around and rapidly unbuttoned his pants…

Amidst giggles and suckling noises on each other’s necks, Priscila drew an innocent young boy to the near bathrooms, spending a sweet 15 minutes alone. When they came out, a corporal was waiting at the doorstep. He didn’t leave, so he knew what was happening there.

Priscila licked the corners of her lips while accommodating her shorts, very contented. Phesx Caolia was in even better, higher spirits. Working in a quiet environment, and being motivated this much every few hours, how could he complain?

Phesx Caolia walked to the corporal and saluted, with Priscila’s eyes shining as she nodded at him. The officer nodded at her before facing Phesx Caolia, “Hellcat, right? You’ve been called to new a task. Go to the administration zone and meet with your unit. I’ve been told it might be action-packed, so prepare, soldier.”

“…” Phesx Caolia saluted the corporal again, this time with more ‘emotion’ as to thank him. Knowing the rumored Hellcat’s behavior, the officer nodded before looking at Priscila. “Should we…”

“My, he’s my trusted pal. What are you blushing like a bitch for?” Priscila smiled, narrowing her eyes to tease the poor officer. Phesx Caolia looked at the young woman he just shared his body’s intimacy with, perplexed. They were more or less equal, but she was this bold…

“Ah, sorry. Then. Can we go to our date now?” The officer blushed, but his military life has taught him to keep a stern expression even if a dog licked his toes. Thus, Priscila nodded before hugging Phesx Caolia, wishing him luck. “Take care of Paul. Em will take care of you, but Paul lacks self-restraint. Don’t let him die for another person, please.”

“Mm, I can do that.” Phesx Caolia nodded, hugging her small head back with his hands. He definitely wouldn’t be like Paul, and he could keep Paul from being like that. Sounded simple.

Phesx Caolia used this moment to stare eyes daggers into her suitor. The corporal let go of his status and fisted his heart noiselessly. Man to man, almost, he conveyed his thoughts sincerely. Phesx Caolia narrowed his light black eyes before kissing her forehead. Then, he made 3 sounds from his mouth, “Pu, pu, pu.”

“Mheeheem, pupu.” Priscila mimicked him before nodding at him. Then, she turned to the corporal and held his left hand with her right one. They left as Phesx Caolia went to pick his military bag, waiting for a day like this, finally arriving. These days, his thoughts had gone over what Paul might have said that intrigued him.

“Eh… Did you do something to him with your mouth?” From the distance, the corporal asked Priscila. She knew what he meant, but she narrowed her eyes and said with a thin smile. “I don’t know, why don’t you check it?”

“Oww,” the corporal dispiritedly exclaimed.

“…” Helplessly stopping for a moment, Phesx Caolia continued preparing his military bag, still needing to go to the armory zone and pick his rifle up, with its new sight and custom magazine. He had time to think as he left the workshop, leaving a few notes with instructions for his unfinished work. ‘Sometimes, I hate my extra acute hearing sense.’

Phesx Caolia went to the armory zone, where he picked up his rifle. The lass who delivered it to him was amazed, perhaps wishing she could become his pupil, but Phesx Caolia left with a nod and a small thanks. Still, she and the others working there were amazed.

At last, Phesx Caolia went to visit his little ‘aunty’. He left his bag outside, as she hated guns and anything dangerous in her office, before entering. Phesx Caolia made sure he didn’t smell of Priscila’s natural perfume, nice and pleasant, but obvious to other female human specimens, before greeting Sofia.

Let It Rain's note: Don't know if it counts for anything, if the universes and multiverses sent me a mystical sign, but Show Pony from Glass Animals came to me as I checked (proofr-edited) this chapter. Okay:^).
