Bratty Teon
After checking the boutique's block, Fox went to the workshop. The bike, what remained of it, and what he protected the most of it, laid in the center as mechanics and Fox looked down at it. It was opened with an electric, high quality saw for matters like these, where the frame in question couldn't be opened. Everything inside was disarranged, with some broken, though very few.
“Well, at least the majority is fine.” Mauricio looked down at it and nodded, hanging his head. Fox sucked his upper lip, grazing it with his lower teeth. Then, a mechanic slapped his hands in the air before everyone got to work, “Well, that’s it. Everyone, get to work again. Amonos.”
Fox nodded and watched them work. Before Mau moved some things away, Fox looked at him, drawing his attention. He said, showing his WID to the mechanic, “I’ll add 1 million now to make for the parts missing, and other things.”
“Alright,” Mau nodded. Then, Fox sent 1,000,000 credits to the workshop’s number, not losing a single credit to the holy taxes, and made Mau shake his head again. No matter how used he became to seeing these numbers travel so easily, and even bigger, it made him jealous.
“Sorry for the trouble, but can you still have ‘her’ in there?” Fox asked, storing his WID. Mau looked at him in appreciation, realizing Fox had noticed. He thought for a moment before nodding, “I think that can happen. It’ll take more time.”
“I can do with that. Thank you, and sorry for the damages, again.” Fox said, turning and leaving the workshop, not wanting to remain just here any longer. Mauricio nodded again before getting to work. Hundreds of hours were left to maybe get back to what they were at before.
After dealing with the bike, Fox went to his suite, receiving glares everywhere, including from the mega hotel’s workers, as even the vice manager came out to watch him. Once at his suite, he took his damaged clothes and rested on the sofa.
A vein on the left corner of his forehead bulged out of nowhere as he watched TV, feeling a bit of a headache, but nothing he hadn’t dealt with before; during his childhood, let alone after all that.
“… The president’s declaration has become an alarming sensation. Will this be the beginning of these happenings? This isn’t the first time something illegal has happened, coming from him. This time, it is to help a criminal, but before, it was to…”
Fox watched as the very same channel changed to a different view, showing a live footage from a police station, looking like a SPD. Fox saw some of the bikers, whom he could recognize from their attire and the bikes they were blocked from by the flood of news reporters.
“Excuse me, what happened before? Why were you detained? What did you do? Do you know Phesx Caolia? Is he in cahoots with the reason why you’re here, and not him?” - “Could you answer some questions? What happened before Fox murdered the innocent father and son?”
“That’s not what happened,” a young woman spoke, covered with a mantle over her shoulders and a young man hugging her from the opposite side of the cameras angles. She stopped moving through the reporters and cameras, looking at a person in particular.
The young man held her shoulders, supporting her as she spoke, “One of our friends was murdered by a disgusting killer. He chased and wanted to kill me first, but the one he killed saved me and my man from it. He ended up dying because of that, but we were detained. That’s what happened!”
“What can you say about Fox’s crimes? What did he do exactly?” The same reporter from before, a female, asked almost as soon after the young woman finished. The latter’s face dropped at the blatant disregard and dissociation from the cruelty she suffered.
Sobering up, the young woman dryly gulped before declaring, looking deadly into the reporter’s eyes, “What happened is justice. The murderer who went after us for no reason is now dead, along with his stupid son! Who brings an underage in the co-driver seat to kill people on the road? Fox avenged us! Fox stood up for it when cops didn’t even know who they were supposed to at least fake a pursuit! And it seems it’s only the president who understands this, ptui!”
The young woman spat on the reporter’s face, which showed a few seconds after it happened with all cameras turning around. The young man holding his girl took advantage and escaped, moving to the bikes, and left this awful place from an awful day.
Fox then saw the news rapidly blacken out, with the previous announcer calmed and changing the subject. He looked at the time nearing 4 AM before deciding to rest his head, closing his eyes and facing the ceiling.
Before he knew it, within a few minutes, he relaxed and felt a strange movement below his eyelids. Dark smoke moved throughout, his eyeballs rolled without intending to, here and there, and before he could feel falling asleep, his phone sounded.
Riiing, riiing, riiiiiing… Fox opened his eyes with difficulty, like something was keeping them tightly closed. He sat up and stretched his right arm, grabbing the phone atop the sofa’s backrest. Putting it to his ear, Fox heard from a PSD contact, “Teon has been found.”
“…!” Fox was surprised, yes, but he also slowly grew stern, keeping his calm at bay. The time had come. Fox dropped his phone and went to his bedroom to pick some more clothes, grabbing his gauntlets, and brought only pivots with him. They were still at the basic level.
Without missing a beat, Fox left his suite with a slightly aching body, feeling like ants crawling within his skin. It disappeared after 5 minutes of taking a taxi and paying the driver to push the accelerator. Fox arrived near a silent, obscure alley between a few large, tall buildings resembling an interconnected enterprise, but wasn’t.
There, he met with a PSD agent wearing white paint, crouching on a bench, doing so bored out of his mind waiting for Fox. Meeting, the agent told Fox before retreating, “She’s in the alley. Her hideout is an unused, hidden compartment, probably built illegally by a previous owner of the building. She’s fine, and her health is top-notch. If you need help, tell your WID.”
Fox said nothing, letting the agent leave, and scanning the alley with his polycoria eyes. He didn’t need help. In fact, all he needed was himself. Fox only had to know how to deal with this.
He walked into the alley, not bothering to hide his steps. Only he was here, with the nearest people walking around the city in the hundreds of meters away. It was far too early, and even those who lived far and had no means for a better lifestyle would have just begun commuting.
After stepping, stopping, and stepping forth again, Fox heard someone’s hidden breathing finally show. He looked a little to the right in front, behind a trash container, and stared at the ground. After several seconds, with his eyebrows slowly furrowing, Fox saw a sewer grates open on its own.
Tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap… Fox saw a humanoid image come out at once with a speed he might’ve considered blurry in the not-so-far past. A figure moved towards him, rapidly identifying him and rushing towards him. Fox didn’t move away, waiting until she jumped at him, barely lifting her feet above the ground with a right punching motion.
Fox saw her, since the moment she rushed out of her hideout, to her body jumping towards him, sending her right fist towards his chest. She was only a bit dirty, but her skin remained bright pale white; big black eyes; but her long hair was cut short. Tall, with long arms, and with a strong light etched across her eyes, now accompanied by a baleful will.
Pah- pfush, tap, tap, tap.
Teon’s fist fell on him, but Fox’s right palm blocked it with ease. She didn’t give up, kicking with her left foot, but Fox used his right thigh to cushion its strength away. Before Teon could headbutt him, even draw her neck forth, not needing to draw it backwards to employ her full strength, Fox threw her fist to his right, turning her around and kicking her lower back with his left sole.
Teon tripped forwards, flinging her arms around before Fox grabbed her chin with his left hand and locked her right arm and legs with his own. Teon widened her eyes, she thrashed her head to bite his hand, becoming more and more animalistic.

Fox dropped to the ground, making her hit her forehead, but she didn’t bleed, although she closed her eyes tight and endured the tremendous pain. After a few seconds, feeling him locking her in place against the ground, Teon shrilled like a beast, “WHY DID YOU DO IT?!”
“It’s not why I did ‘something’, and you know it well. You’re not stupid, Teon. Who are you to not know why she sent you away?” Fox struggled to hold her, using his left hand to hold her head in case she bit him, which would end up as a painless attack from her to him. His guttural words emerged in her head, audible at last.
Teon struggled even harder. At this point, she wasn’t enraged anymore, for the tears drowning her face and dampening his left backhand indicated something more. Fox turned around, pressing her back against his torso, both facing the sky as Teon only continued.
Teon bit his hand, unable to poke her teeth through his skin. She tried tracing her teeth through his skin, but still nothing. And when she bit harder than she should, she felt metallic obstruction on her teeth, making her jaw unable to clench any further.
“AAaaww- hwaa wa waaahaaa…~!” After enough was enough, with Fox enduring it all along, he kept holding her tight. Teon stopped struggling, now bawling as she held his left arm, nearly hugging it to her chest.
Suddenly, Fox grabbed her left side and turned her around. His strength was such that he made her stand up, straddling her feet to the upper sides of his torso. Teon looked down at him, startled. Then, Fox did the unthinkable and took a knife out of his left rear pants.
“Since you want it so much, then go ahead!” Fox exclaimed, turning the knife’s handle towards her. Teon looked down at it before returning her big black eyes on his face. Then, in a swift set of rapid movements, she took the knife, knelt straddling him, and stabbed his lower belly left side.
Swwlip- sheefth, swwliip… Once wasn’t enough, so Teon stabbed another four times in a row. When she took the blade out of his body for the fifth time, she felt weak and slumped on his torso, crying in silence and forming fists from her slender hands. They might be womanish, but they were threatening to the toughest body builders. Just one punch from them can kill any agent not up to par with her, and it wasn’t an exaggeration.
Teon bawled a few more minutes before turning around. She looked at the bleeding wound on his belly before asking him after as series of sniffles. “Why are you bleeding?”
“You don’t know? You, of all people, and right now?” Fox lifted his head, enduring the bits of pain. Teon shook her head, “No, not that. Before I stabbed you, which you deserved.”
Rolling his eyes with ill mood, Fox lightly explained, softly pushing her onto the ground to sit up. Each stab made his back hurt a bit more, which he hadn’t treated yet. “Damn, you’re really a neanderthal, or did you come from the 3rd order? Ahh… I just had a situation before coming to you. You were a bit difficult to track, you know.”
“Nah, I was tailed for just a few days. That’s very good. But hey,” Teon helped Fox up, still looking at him with some resentment. Fox looked at her, attentive, as she said, “I was contacted by some people. They told me they could help me; train me to kill you, and even find you in a good opportunity.”
“Really? Who?” Fox asked, knowing the possible next answer. Teon answered, as expected, “How would I know? They were very shady, and I couldn’t track them. I think they called themselves something like shadows, or preternatural. Something like those things.”
“Mnn. About that, join me, Teon.” Fox thought about it, but he couldn’t do much more. He looked at the lass and said, offering his left hand facing up towards her, which she salivated and teared up on quite a bit. Looking down at it, Teon fell pensive.
“Is this your tuned arm? They said something like that. Anyhow… what do you want me to join?” Teon asked, looking up at him without moving her slender arms, confused. Fox bit his lower lip, sandwiching it between his rows of teeth a little, and mouthed without emitting a sound after closing in his lips to her eyes. “Piya Sanctum District.”
Teon’s eyes widened before she calmly soothed them. She looked at him and asked, blunt and bratty, “Will they teach me how to kill you?”
“Oh, and much more than that. You’ll have to go 3 months under their training regimen, though.” Fox said, feeling a bit relaxed. Teon hmphed. He tilted his head before warning her, “You wouldn’t consider ‘those other’ people, right? You wouldn’t be this idiotic, Teon.”
“What would she think of this, then?” Teon asked, crossing her arms, acting all casual like she didn’t just stab Fox a few times. Fox looked down at her, holding his belly. “Don’t ask what you know the answer to. Don’t depend on anything else. It’s time you did yourself well, Teon.”
“Hmph,” Teon blew through her nostrils before relaxing her arms. “Very well, just… give me time to readjust… I’ve spent days unable to laze around. And I’ll have to keep hiding even after.”
“Mn, let’s go.” Fox didn’t offer any other words and gave her his jacket, a little bloody, to cover her. Fox looked at a few corners around them before heading to his suite.
When arriving at the mega hotel, Teon didn't care about their surroundings and just walked wherever Fox told her to go. She went directly to his individual bathroom, showered, and walked naked to the other bathroom, taking a set of towels Fox left atop the sofa.
Ignoring her, letting her feel all well rested as she went to the big bathroom to relax, Fox finally administered treatment to his belly. It was a nasty wound, yet nothing to worry about, not for him. He did a gamble, and it didn't end up being so bad, with only a few days needed to rest.
With his job as a celebrity's babysitter, Fox didn't worry about his pay. He placed tons of yellow cream and injected certain sections of his open flesh with yellow medicine. He didn't bother using red medicine and just relaxed on the sofa.
When Teon came out, Fox showed her the other rooms besides the main one. Despite her wanting and asking for the main room, Fox kept that for himself. Then, Fox went out while Teon used his 'new' laptop and TV, getting caught with things she might've missed.
She had to flee from a hoog secret organization, after all. She must've understood how to run away quickly, and not get detected. Especially with the national guard, which seemed more and more capable the more the president let them work. It was even more drastic as the drones they used could triangulate back and forth information with the small bases nearby, and detection.
Fox walked to a few restaurants, especially those Teon used to order a lot from, except the pizzeria he used to work in, and returned. When he did, Teon was walking all around the place, but calmly. She looked at him and then at the tons of bags he carried.
Teon became a little, silly girl and started crying, but only a bit. She helped him up and offered her body; meaning, she let him cuddle with her on the sofa as she ate and received his head and shoulder rubs. When she had her fill, like a kitten, Teon fell asleep.
Looking at the time, Fox put her on his bed, giving her an extra layer of clothing before taking his leave. Teon was heavily asleep, only able to wake up much later. On the other hand, Fox prepared to meet with his client and begin the day after opening the boutique.
… Meeting with Fabiola, who looked at him somewhat warily, Fox opened the door, to which she went in after a light greeting. Mena’s cousin remained outside, with the other youngsters walking in nodding at him, seemingly told what he did for Fabiola last night.
Fox was left pensive with this. Last night was such a time. It wasn’t really as difficult as his other worst days, but the amount of things happening did compare somewhat.
“They want me to tell you that they want you to know that they don’t think you did anything wrong, with the truck psycho, anyway. They liked it when It told them about what you did here last night. Everyone likes Fabiola, even if half of them want to fuck her more than anything.” She said.
“I got it,” Fox simply said before gesturing to welcome her in. The gal took the gesture with a nod and prepared to get to work. Additionally, since Fabiola came, he went to see her, conversing a bit in the computer backroom.
. . .
Since the white truck event on the highway, and finding Teon; 4 days passed.
As the end of the week, with the moon nearing its half-moon stage, the people became a bit more relaxed, even enjoying some hours of their boring jobs.
Teon began planning to join the Piya Sanctum District. Her life had begun to calm down, and the support Fox showed her was most helpful. Especially with the money he gained. He was just babysitting a lass like her, but he was winning a few hundred thousand per week; too much.
Of course, Fox let her know that only 'high-end' people could request PSD agents. And that even 3rd Grade, thirds, would get this kind of activity, even if not the full per diem, at least half the price of a firster. He also let her know she’d learn more things than she can imagine, not quite relating to a special agent’s needs, but management and even logistics and strategy.
For that, though, Teon was a bit far from accepting. She continued lazying in his suite, quite impacted by these few months when all she could do is run. Fox only spent a couple of weeks like that, and not even he can imagine that sort of life, where everyone is searching and hunting her.
Preut was different, as practically everyone would kill anyone, where sides were but fragile and blurry when outside the encampments.
As for Preut, Fox had a hunch. The civil war had stopped already, but the government, namely Luis Heartez, waited for something. After learning, and realizing where he had to look for, Fox wondered if it might show up before the naval cooperation between Lýmoca and other countries down south.
Additionally, ever since Fox was berated yet again, and most likely not for the last time, a little someone began following after him during his daily job. Sona Heartez was in Selena’s hotel room. He could hear their voices even a few floors below theirs.
Fox had just convinced, or so he thought, Luis to not treat him as a lost cause. Yet, the next day, or a few hours later, Fox is met with the sight of the president’s sister ready to educate him in the ways of politics. Even if Fox didn’t hate it before, which he didn’t, and at best didn’t like; he began doing so after being made to grasp in these circumstances.
Regardless, during the first assignation Selena had during that day, Fox was sweet coated by Sona, who jumped and fell on his body, talking about life, hard.
From then on, Fox became even more… engrossed, in politics. While he still wouldn’t like them, he approved of Sona’s honeymoon technique. And he started abusing it, too. To her amusement and delight, of course.
Even then, that didn’t mean Fox wasn’t taking care of Selena. He had to enhance his senses, which meant feeling more… satisfied thorough. A few times, he had to stop, hide the beacon of life, and interrupt before Selena was intimidated. Only to return with fury into Sona’s hugging… legs. To her delight, of course. Always.
