What Words Under The Moonlight?
Many hours later. In the evening. Below Phesx's house, in the pizzeria.
The place was actually closed for today, as there were some remodeling happening. The pizzeria couldn't expand, already having bough a corner of the block, but they could make the place ampler and visually appealing to the customers. In this case, Phesx sat in a small table in the non-remodeled zones, with the lights dimly lit, and a few small boxes of pizza at the side, of which half were empty.
Phesx and Pheli ate to their heart’s content, sometimes just eating and looking into each other’s eyes as the flavor, the melting, the sensation when biting, and the aftertaste of every bite enthralled them.
After finishing yet another small box together, Pheli relaxed her neck, arching it forwards and looking up to the ceiling after eating a lot. She lowered her head, noticed Phesx’s dumbfounded face looking at her, and smiled lightly. “I’m really full. Can’t remember the last time I ever ate this much.”
“Even after remaining hungry, you mean?” Phesx blinked, waking up to put Pheli’s eyes on him. She unceremoniously reached for another box while smiling thinly, “Only for that, we’re not going to my apartment afterwards.”
“…” Phesx blinked twice, demanding an explanation while Pheli opened another box. They were just going to rest, when the smell of a few spices and a bit of green in between called their attention. Their bellies were full, but with the training and missions they have as people from the secret world, eating this bit was nothing. The issue would be finding something as delicious.
After the early morning, Phesx fasted, waiting for the date while practicing with Emer with an empty stomach. He wore a jacket to cover his arms and shoulders’ bruises, even after Pheli had to check his left shoulder again. Those 2 days of extra rest gained more sense.
It was just a knife wound, but it could worsen his previous wound. As for Pheli, she also fasted. Knowing Phesx had some ‘access’ to the pizzeria, she betted on this place when their date began, and she ended up winning.
As the new box was opened, Pheli grabbed a slice before feeling awkward. Phesx smiled, took his eyes off her wonderful neck and grabbed a slice as well. After ‘clinking’ their slices, Phesx slowly brought his to his mouth, with Pheli repeating the gesture quickly.
“Is there a way we can call ourselves? Not just Artistas, and other orgs’ ‘cannon fodder’, but those in superior ranks like Instructors and the Head?” Phesx asked after a few relishing moments. Pheli shook her head with a slice between her teeth, cleaning the table’s surface in front of her before grabbing half the slice off her mouth and chewing the other.
“Wewl, gulp… There’s none, but I have seen many ‘talks’ after your play. It wasn’t as hectic before, but just 3 days after the museum’s event, that you first made the internet a bit zealous. Wanna bet there are some screenwriters already begging to make movies or shows of idiots like you?”
Pheli’s playful eyes looked at him as she finished the remaining of her slice. Phesx blinked, he tilted his head backwards and to the left, and his eyes upturned before voicing, “So no. But there might be one? What are the possible names? I would like to know.”
“Ugh.” Pheli didn’t seem pleased. “One is the ‘shadow serpents’. It is quite popular. You can’t expect much from the internet, much less when it’s only been a few days. Another is the ‘secret service’, another ‘SS’.”
Phesx Caolia flicked his eyebrows and put an awry expression, “It’s better than serpents.”
“Yeah, but that one also has ‘shadow’ in it.” Pheli nodded before commenting. Both pizza eating monsters cocked their heads in agreement before eating half the box.
“When do you plan to try craftsmanship? It’s nothing like you’ve seen in Preut.” Pheli ate another slice before leaning over the table. Her features weren’t big, but her gesture made her lovely breasts a bit pronounced. Her ‘grandma made me this’ colorful sweater only made her look cuter, not silly. Not only that, but her orange hair was a striking difference, but it combined well, somehow.
“Is it really that good? I mean. Do you- no, can you earn from it, or something?” Phesx tentatively asked. Pheli narrowed her eyes, slightly pushing her lips out. How could she not know Phesx was looking for excuses to get to it?
“You do a little bit of money, but maybe a little less than being paid to teach when you’re not fully available.” Pheli nodded a bit. “You first have to go through a period of 2 weeks, and pay 30,000 credits to use the org’s resources. It’s very little, but not lesser than in those big academies.”
“Mmn.” Phesx Caolia hummed. Pheli brought another slice to her mouth and ate, but not before saying with indifferent eyes glancing to the side, “Learning bion craftsmanship isn’t something every country’s academies can boast of worldwide.”
“You also have to pay for a person to teach you, from those who aren’t fully available, if you want a certain person guiding you. But it’s better than 300,000 credits the academies charge.”
“Then, you’ll be in a workshop after those 2 weeks. At first, you can only help with small things. You might make a few thousand credits a day after being socially accepted as a weapon crafter or so.” Pheli said, stealing the fourth of a slice of pizza from Phesx’s hands.
“How much do you make per order?” Phesx asked, his little mind trained by the evil Ruvas at work. Pheli slowly devoured the stolen fourth of a slice with closed eyes before voicing, “The same as anyone else with an extra thousand credits or so. It’s just that I and Waleks can make tens of thousands if someone orders a bion of at least 6 digits price.”
“Those still need maintenance and recharge, or simply battery, so to speak. Those also give you money, the same amount as other bions’ cost. Why now? Interested?” Pheli asked with a smirk from corner to corner of her mouth, slightly tapping her fingertips on Phesx’s left backhand.
“Yes, I think I am.” Phesx said, with eyes fully open, looking calm… and just attractive. His hair was still a thing to behold, naturally combed backwards, flat and smooth on the right, and a slight curve, and wild, on his left side.
“Can you take me as your apprentice? Oh, can I work in your workshop after being socially accepted, also?” Phesx’s questions left the pretty young woman before him feeling a little helpless. However, she picked another slice and ate, giving Phesx her little eyes. “I guess.”
… After exiting the pizzeria, and bidding one of the owners goodbye with a hasty wave, Phesx brought the young lady to the stairs leading to the rooftop. When going up, Pheli was still a bit incredulous, which rapidly recessed until he saw Phesx take some keys out.
“Little heaven… you do live on its roof.” Pheli’s arms slightly locked with Phesx’s left arm, going up the stairs as she felt the need to rest her right ear on his shoulder. She did it carefully so he would only feel a bit of pain at first.
Phesx Caolia smirked. “Are you disappointed? Jealous? Or disappointed and jealous?”
“The fourth option,” Pheli softly murmured. Phesx blinked. Immediately after, he felt his chest, deep inside, feeling a bit airy and heavy…
“Where do you keep your baby? I’m sure it would have been stolen already, whether you’re the greatest ‘serpent’ in the world or the worst.” Pheli said with a smile, hugging his arm a bit more, and tighter. They walked on the roof towards the little ‘apartment/house’.
“The landlady has connections. It is her who helps me keep it at bay.” Phesx resumed, feeling strange all under his clothes. Pheli smirked from her mouth’s left corner before voicing, “She’s some criminal lords’ hot, old flame, or something?”
“Pffgh,” Phesx scoffed with a wide smirk. “Maybe she was in her younger days? She has a son who stays out until late night, and never once I saw him come back injured or something. She only charges me 2,000 a month, though.”
“Do I have to worry about finding someone the other side of the door?” Pheli said, pointing at his house’s door while facing him. Phesx looked at her and tilted his head rightwards, hanging it there. “First, you call me a serpent, insulting and degrading me. Now you want me to bring a grandma to my bed?”
“Hahahaha.” Pheli giggled, narrowing her eyes as they stopped before his door.
Turning to each other, their eyes locked for a few seconds. Phesx’s eyes narrowed, while she looked at him, nearly at the same sight, whereas she had to lift her eyes a bit. Phesx nearly wetted his lips but stopped himself, gesturing to his door, “May I invite you in?”

With a tilt of his head, Phesx’s antics had Pheli look at him with a light in her celeste eyes. She didn’t respond, but he heard what she meant.
Bringing his nose across the air, Phesx first smooched her at the right corners of her lips before tilting his head rightwards and pressing his mouth on hers, no longer a simple peck. Pheli closed her eyes the moment she felt the first kiss. Her shoulders rose for a moment before relaxing.
Her hands went to his waist, pulling him slightly towards her, to her body. For several moments, there were only lips and saliva exchanging, dancing, and trekking into the other’s space, with the occasional obscured red tongues flicking in and out.
“It feels like a second dinner… it tastes like a second dinner…” Phesx momentarily stopped, with their chins pressed together and their mouths gasping, blowing air to each other’s faces. His comment gained them some moments to take a breather, but Pheli’s narrowed, watery eyes didn’t want that. “Don’t stop now…”
She brought her fingertips to both sides of his face, caressing his skin before returning them to his hips. “You why I’m not hugging your shoulders instead, waiting for you to push me into your wall?”
Their breathing became heavier, but they were rested now. They only needed to light the fuse. Pheli breathed with her lips moving atop his, “Because I wouldn’t want to hear you loudly groaning into my ears before-”
“…mmnf…” Phesx Caolia shut her, taking her mouth wide open while opening his door. His hands moved expertly, but only towards his door before bringing her in, slowly eating each other’s mouths.
Arriving at his bedroom, Phesx stuck his body to hers, which Pheli tantalizingly swayed her hips to, just a little, out of desire and instinct. Phesx gradually paused their mouths. Looking at her face covered in dark, the full moon in the sky, whose moonlight seeped into the windows, made her facial features hidden even more. Phesx held her cheeks before pecking her lips, little by little, one at a time.
When both their eyes slowly opened after the slow, passionate, intimate, and heated moment… Phesx cupped her face and smooched her forehead, therefore bringing her head lower and lower as Pheli smoothly knelt before him, rubbing her nose left and right all over his clothes.
… The night went on with passion, leaving not a part of their bodies unexplored. One thing was already in this night; they were definitely good for each other’s pleasure. But the second was only for Pheli, as Phesx wouldn’t stop, no matter how affected he was throughout the night.
It wouldn’t go on for hours and hours, but the force put behind every second was surmountable. The sensations flooding. And the hearts beat with no tomorrows placed in their brains.
With the covers wrapping them, all lewd sounds echoed, with gasps and muffled shrills echoing whenever moans or groans went for too long, tiring the young couple melting their bodies.
… As the night ended and a new day brewed, but the dark sky remained, the full, gigantic moon was disappearing and distancing from their sky. Resting in his bed, Phesx shared a pillow with Pheli, whose orange strands of hair littered around their heads. As she rested on his right shoulder, Phesx intertwined fingers with her with his left hand on his stomach.
“I have the feeling I’m not your first redhead,” Pheli softly said, almost ethereally. Phesx blinked, feeling sleepy, and adoring the fact he could feel like this without exhausting himself first, at last. “Those words give your ‘kind’ a bad reputation.”
Pheli smiled, ignoring his comment before Phesx spoke again. Meanwhile, she crossed her right shin to his groins. It wasn’t a threat or a response. It only made him feel warmer. “I have… met someone before… It wasn’t like that, though. She left early.”
“…” Pheli lowered her eyes, flickering her eyelashes. Turning towards him, she poked his right cheek with the tip of her nose. Phesx continued, “It’s not only her, and I had other thoughts with others, but it was all left in Preut.”
“Why don’t you contact some? You can, with some preparation, time, and making a few contacts in Riverlye, you could find them if they are still in Lýmoca.” Pheli proposed, but Phesx shook his head. “I don’t think I will.”
Pheli hooked the corners of her lips downwards before facing the ceiling, staring at the moon slipping away through the window. Her left shin found its way to his groins instead, making Phesx wonder if she was claiming him. María hadn’t been like this, although it ended in an intimate relationship that never fully was. It felt… good, though.
“Well, you’ll still make new contacts in Riverlye. Take a few more missions; until you can join other groups. Then, I’ll bring you to meet some. Focus on your craftsmanship for now,” Pheli offered him. Phesx grinned before his hands reached out to her sides, forcefully pulling her on top of him. “You’re not my mother to be telling me what to do.”
“What am I, then?” Pheli was surprised, but she still felt her eyelids a bit heavy, dropping them into a graceful, indifferent visage, and asked him. Phesx blinked. He had no idea what to answer that with. Then, he thought of something, making him thinly smile from ear to ear. “Mine.”
Then, Pheli rolled her eyes before delicious closing them, falling on his face with hers as a hefty early morning ensued. Once again snaking her arms around him in bed.
. . .
10 days later. In the center of the city Phesx lived in, in a cemetery.
After the procedures underwent, the few family members that could arrive, or wanted to, moved to meet each other. Phesx was greeted by a few young men who previously saw him working with the old man. The rest ignored him, only coming here because the old man’s lands were once again the family’s.
The blondie, daughter of the old man, walked to Phesx after excusing herself from a stampede of rats- no, of family members she hasn’t seen in more than a decade with her fiancé. Evading a few more along the way, she stopped and smiled at Phesx, more politely than not.
“Thank you for coming, Phesx.” She said, wanting to hug him but stopped, knowing he didn’t like it. The young man stood a step behind her, nodding and smiling at him. Phesx was going to leave, but the blondie passed him a document. “My father would have liked to give this to you.”
Phesx Caolia blinked before taking the document, reading a sum of 50,000 only his bank account could scan with his fingerprints read by his green bank card. He lifted his eyes to look at her again, but she just added, “I’ve already registered the movement of that much money. Trust me, he would’ve liked you to have it. With the money from the adult livestock and the remaining crops, I had more than enough for the funeral. He would like you to have this.”
“…” Phesx Caolia didn’t refute it. Thinking for a moment, he replied as he scanned it with his bank card. “Bullshit. You just want me to keep me and work with you.”
“Aww, if you put it like that, no business in the world is honest work.” The blondie was startled, before smiling a little, at last, and became playful with him. Meanwhile, the young man behind her blushed a little, scratching his head.
“Besides,” the blondie breathed in. Her eyes became a little lost amidst her words, “It has become very obvious I am not giving this to anyone else. So, I would be mostly alone. I need as much help as I can. Don’t you think?”
“Have you thought of expanding?” Phesx Caolia asked after folding the document. The blondie smelled her philtrum, pouting before hooking the right corner of her mouth in a grimace. “Should I do that? I’m not so sure, though…”
“There’s a lot of land surrounding your grandpa’s farm. Besides, even the dirt road is ‘on sale’, I remember, and he would always speak his mind about what he’d do with all that land.” Phesx offered some advice. The blondie seemed to consider, saying, “If I do, I need a lot of money. It may take a few months to start something like that. That might work with my father’s savings now in my hands.”
“I can help with a bit,” Phesx politely grinned before showing her his phone after preparing something. She jumped her eyebrows, “No, Phesx, that’s too much money. Isn’t it from what I just gave you?”
“It’s not a problem to me, I can recuperate that in a month, really.” Phesx smiled, feeling a bit boastful. He offered her 30,000 credits as an investment, but the blondie couldn’t believe he could do this much money. Either way, she didn’t dawdle and took her green bank card out, “I promise you it won’t be a waste. If worse comes to worst, you might even own the lands if the government has to implicate themselves.”
“That’s right,” the blondie jumped, remembering something. Her face finally displayed hints of confidence as she went, “With one of the government’s programs, I can advance this new step of my life faster and safely.”
“Hmf,” Phesx blew air through his nostrils with a wide smirk. “You sounded like a commercial. Are they really that helpful?”
“Yes!” She nodded her head repeatedly. “It’s actually more like… donating, from the government to us, and we don’t even have to promise them some shares or make a contract. Only that we do not sell it outside the country nor large portions to private companies, just the markets and local establishments.”
“…” Phesx Caolia jumped his eyebrows as well before tilting his head forth, feeling a little strange. The blondie smiled before looking at her fiancé, who took another document out. She passed it to him, mentioning, “I’m not familiar which days you’re free and for how long. Here’s a contract if you do wish to keep working for the farm. I hope you do-”
Before she could finish, Phesx rapidly read through it and took a pen from his jacket’s pockets. He signed up before returning it to the blondie. Then, he flashed a polite smirk before turning around, “I may show up a few days a week, but it might be inconsistent. I’ll leave you to your father’s funeral, then.”
“Goodbye~!” - “Safe travels!” The blondie and her fiancé bid Phesx farewell as he headed out and towards his Myertha. Shortly after, they were surrounded by rats again.
. . .
Back at the center of Sargonde, Riverlye HQ.
Phesx Caolia rapidly parked his bike, took his helmet off, and walked into an elevator, whose doors opened at the regular pace of a second. As he went down his elevator, in Pheli’s workshop, she spoke to a beauty.
They sat in an empty area between the counters, Waleks’s, Pheli’s, and the kid-sized one, Phesx’s. It was a black shortie with long curly hair and intense, black eyes. She asked Pheli after growing a bit impatient, “So, what would you say he was like?”
“Alright, well, he…” Pheli sighed a little, blinking before her cheeks blushed ever so slightly. “Moves me around, handling me like a toy everywhere, wherever we are at.”
“Ooh…” The black beauty stared without blinking. She closed her mouth and licked her lips before cleaning their right corners with her right wrist as a playful gesture. However, she felt something and looked down, actually finding some saliva on her skin.
Pheli rolled her eyes a bit before the young woman said with a teasing smile, “Well then. You better don’t let me go near him.”
Pheli lifted her eyebrows and lowered her chin, looking at her. Pheli was going to say something but stopped, falling a little pensive instead.
Step, step, step. Just then, footsteps sounded from the outside, heading towards the workshop. The black, young woman lifted her hands with a bit of preoccupation. “Nevermind, nevermind. I don’t think it’s that casual anymore.”
…
