Checks, Studies, New Assignations
At these moments, it was the afternoon, a few hours after Fox brought Selena to eat at one of the restaurants they have been often visiting amidst work, fairly known around the localities, and a bit on the internet. Selena had just exited the premises of a program, where she briefly sang and then played around on live with a team to bring a few relaxing, family-friendly entertainment section of the program to the country.
Fox waited at the side, exchanging a word with Sona, who leaned on him with her hands weighing atop his right shoulder. By now, any touch to his body was something he didn’t mind from her, outside of extracurricular activities.
A news reporter, tranquil and fangirling over this celebrity who was growing at last in Lýmoca, asked her, slightly lifting his rectangular-shaped, thin item. “Miss, miss. While this might sound unsightly, there are rumors of your bodyguard and you, to resume. Have you words for this?”
“I do, actually.” The beauty, Selena, looked up to her right and said, lowering her face to pause. She lifted it with a slight blush on her cheeks, making oh so many reporters silently gasp. But she continued, “I actually did try to, you know? I made a few moves. But ah, Mr. Fox, which he doesn’t like being called, is an exemplary, decent Ly. He’s a great guard, I tell you.”
“I cannot thank him for helping me change, not enough, at least. I now know I’m no longer young, hahaha. Isn’t it dumb? He’s more than a decade younger, but he helped me grow mature. More, at least. He takes good care of me, and I’m glad I could request him.” Selena smiled, placing her hands together in front of her belly, looking enchanting at worse.
“Oh, oh! Miss Selena, do you have any engagement with the government? You’re so pretty, is there a possibility you have connections— direct connections with the president?!” Another news reporter asked, gaining a few glares from his comrades.
“Ah, what? No. How can there be such things? Ahaha…” Selena narrowed her eyes, trying to be polite as a furrow formed between her eyebrows. She tried laughing it off as Fox watched her, sending lightened eyes towards her out of feeling a bit playful.
“I’ll make you go through a test later this month. Don’t end it without answering everything correctly, understood?” Sona smiled at the same scenery before turning to Fox, lightly grasping under his chin, lifting it, unafraid of being seen. Rumors and what not would run no matter what, whether it was happening or not, from what Fox has been seen.
“I’ll do my best,” Fox worded. Sona smiled, briefly glancing at his lips before articulating, “There is wisdom in your growing patience. Is it my doing? Of a kitten or a wise girl?”
“You’re no girl,” Fox smirked strongly. He looked into her gray-black eyes, similar to Luis’s, but prettier and fitting, unlike his. Sona smiled grinned from the left corner of her mouth, “Oh, and what am I?”
“A good woman,” Fox commented, lightly and without lust. He wasn’t in love, he was just being respectful. Sona’s eyes changed, she looked at him and felt moved. Then, she pinched his arm and clicked her lips from the same corner of her mouth, caressing his chin, “You’re really getting better at boot licking. I’m honing you into a perfect politician.”
“Only when it’s honesty,” Fox said, helpless. Sona smiled, even doing so with her eyes before hooking his arm and walking forward. Fox knew Selena’s quick mini-conference was finishing because of his hearing, but Sona knew because of her experience.
“Meet me at night. Oh, can I meet your ‘little sister’? I’m sure she can be a good asset, too. If she can join the District sooner, it’d be even better. How ‘bout it?” Sona lifted her chin and asked with glowing eyes. Fox smirked a bit, “Not only you want to ride me in my home, you’re even lusting after Teon?”
“So…?” Sona nodded in a good mood before perfunctorily asking. Fox flashed a smile. “I’ll get her controlled, but do something to her, and you’re on your own. Teon is a sweet one-way gal.”
“Isn’t she older than you?” Sona intervened, softly whispering her breath against his jaw from the right. Fox squeezed her bottom, imperceptible to the naked eye, “I changed my mind, I’ll throw you around.”
“Prrrr…” Sona purred after a gasp and heavy breath with a high rising and low bouncing chest. She melted her head on his shoulder, smiling before walking away from him a few steps after he let go. Naughty time was over.
“Ah, my hero.” Selena exclaimed after feeling Fox’s presence. She turned around and walked to him, standing behind him, waiting for him to walk ahead and guide her. Fox brought his client and Sona to the car PSD covered, listening to Sona’s teachings and answering Sona’s questions regarding the rest of her schedule for the day, and the week.

Late evening, presidential precinct.
Luis worked in his office, although he was having a relaxing time instead. Letters were neatly piled at the front edge of his desk. Drinking from his hot drink, he constantly eyed the letters, falling pensive. ‘I can’t keep writing so easily anymore. There’s more and more people who want their letters read. How am I supposed to do this from now on?’
Just then, the double doors opened. Luis looked at the entrance, only to see the most beautiful woman in the world. Lesly smirked from both ends of her mouth. She donned a tight, black denim dress showing some thighs, but even just from her knees to her calves was mouth watering.
“Working so hard this late, my President is not going to rest unless his state of mind commands it?” Lesly voiced as she neared his desk. She walked with a folder in her hands, half-throwing it on the desk after arriving beside it. Crossing her arms, she looked down at Luis, “Do you need anything else, President?”
“I didn’t know you’d be coming. Lesly, good to see you.” Luis gulped, looking up at her. Lesly smiled at his words, slightly bending her back. Her breathtaking black eyes took whatever remained of Luis’s breath away, “I barely don’t see you once or twice a day since Sargonde, Presi.”
“It’s just— we don’t spend time together. Only work. You’re not going to betray me and join another candidate next year, are you?” Luis spoke from his heart, before teasing. Lesly jumped her left eyebrow, slow and charming, before further lowering her body.
Luis couldn’t see it, but she looked a bit silly when bending over this much, and she did it for him. However, in return, he could see those eyes, that nose, eyebrows and mouth, up close.
“Maybe if you don’t make something about it,” Lesly spoke. Luis wasn’t sure, but he could swear he felt her breath on his face, or was it just him? It… he felt different when it happened. But then, Luis processed her words, and naturally, he grew confused. ‘What does she mean with ‘it’?’
Lesly kept looking at him, and Luis returned the stare, albeit confused. Ruefully sighing in her mind, Lesly nearly exhaled out, when she thought of something and looked at Luis with sharpened eyes.
“I heard something a little funny in the news today,” her words left uncertainty in Luis. He frowned, “About what?”
“Oh, nothing much.” Lesly tilted her head, playing with her right hand atop the desk. Her eyes snapped at him after a blink, but her words were… low and soft, “It’s from our mutual friend, Fox. But more importantly, these news came from his client, ‘miss’ Selena.”
“Ah…” Luis was none the wiser. Lesly added, “I heard something like… ah, are you and her meeting? Do you know each other? Ah, it seemed like many think so, or doubt you aren’t.”
“What? Haha, how so?” Luis smiled, finding it ridiculous. Lesly nodded, showing a pout for half a moment, “Say, is she pretty? Do you like her?”
“Ah… No?” Luis started to feel something was wrong, he frowned. Lesly nodded, sitting on the corner of his desk, half a meter beside his seat. She once again added, “How come she asked for Fox? So easily, at that. What did she offer? Or was it just easy for her?”
“I believe she was having some crisis in her identity. Intel about her spoke of some irregular activities outside of her job as a celebrity, or well above them, having nothing to do with one another.” Luis finally caught on what was happening.
He sat up a bit, looking at Lesly without drifting his sharp gray-black eyes away, somewhat turned docile. Lesly looked at him in silence, for quite a few seconds, before asking with a thin smile, “Oh, so she’s a damsel in distress?”
Luis wasn’t smooth enough, after all. He sweated a little, gulped dryly, and added, sitting up as straight as a spear. “Fox seems to have worked it out with her, not necessarily engaging in coitus or similar acts to hit it off together. It’s true help she needed, and her agency were willing to pay.”

“…” Lesly’s smile disappeared, she hung her head down to her right shoulder for several seconds, exchanging glances with the president before suddenly straightening her neck. “I have lunch, well, diner, just now. I left it at the dinner, wanna come?”
“I’ve been drinking for too long. Yes! Let’s go eat. I’ll have to do with their small portions, all for you.” Luis’s eyes brightened. He exclaimed in a good mod and with a sudden, joyous expression. He loosened his collar and stood up, with Lesly getting off his desk, spinning in a good mood, it seemed, and led the way out. With a smile, of course.
“No, you don’t. I can share some of mine, it’s a lot. I came prepared today.” Lesly smilingly said once Luis caught up with her, just about to turn around the entrance. “If you behave.”
“If hm?” Luis exclaimed, not hearing well just that bit, or mishearing it. He couldn’t even tell. Lesly’s stiffened, pale face rapidly relaxed. She said nothing and continued walking forwards, not wanting her little belly’s growls to be heard.

Outside the Plastics Recycler Factory. Nightfall.
Fox relaxed outside, putting his worker boots on while sitting at the end of the sidewalk. Not many vehicles passed by. Those who did don’t stick near the sidewalk, using their utmost primitive instinct of fear.
“I see you are still coming and going. How much money are you planning to make with all those bions?” Suddenly, a voice sounded behind Fox. He turned his head and saw Nala Loba standing behind him. He never really saw her around the HQ, or in any other place than that time in the coffee shop.
“You’re here.” Fox couldn’t comment anything else. Nala Loba sat beside him, bending her knees up to her torso, looking ahead before turning her head to Fox. “I see you’re doing well, still. There’s another assignation soon. Maybe tomorrow. Do you have free time from your daily duty?”
“I do have a free day either tomorrow or past tomorrow. If I can join you, I will. When do you depart?” Fox felt gladdened, doubting not once to get on to it. Nala Loba’s eyes, resting cold and indifferent, flashed on his. They were already large, appearing simply beautiful up-close. With her mere nature, all added up together, she was many folds more incredible.
“Whenever you have yours should be fine. We can depart any of those days. It shouldn’t take too much, so give my WID a message when it’s deemed available.” Nala Loba said, standing up. At the same time, Fox received a notification in his personal window. He took it out, reading her information before adding it to his list. It felt good to him, just doing that.
“What about this? Won’t you get it treated? Your front might be worse, but if we meet water in the task, you’d only end up worse. That’s not something I accept in my team. Eh, let me check it for you.” Nala Loba suddenly said, squatting behind him and tracing her index fingertips on his shoulders. Besides pain, Fox inadvertently shivered.
“Alright,” Fox’s eyes unknowingly dropped. He turned his face backwards to his left. Nala Loba slightly turned hers, staring back at him, before patting his shoulders.
… A few minutes later, Fox met up with the team, Nala Loba’s team. At once, after Alea and Lyan checked him up rather quickly, he was seated on the ground, with Nol preparing to treat him. Fox took his shirt off and sat with everyone else around him, chatting with each other as Nol began his treatment.
It turns out that Nala Loba’s offering was for her team to help his wounds to heal, or at least begin their faster healing process. Midway through, as Nala Loba considered things with Alea and Lyan on the mission, sitting at the side, Akina looked at Fox and Nol.
Fox constantly glared at her, wondering when she would act. Then, seeming to have grown satisfied enough with what she was watching, Akina voiced, “Come a little closer. Come on, you’ve touched each other’s skin for so long, stop playing hard to get, and get hard and get it.”
“…” - “…” Fox and Nol mentally pacted, staring up at the she evil to make a front against her even more evil wishes. Even the other young women looked at Akina, wordless. Akina wasn’t ashamed, though.
“Oww, come on. Kiss a bit, okay? Let me see what you two already wanna do.” She seemed insistent. Fox arched his right eyebrow. “Would you turn into a doggy, and a good doggy for us?”
“Sure! I’d treat you both,” Akina smiled widely, even spreading her legs, revealing her tight lycra shorts¡ groin area. She added, “Depending on how much more you show me, I’ll turn into your pet all day, all night long. So, show me!”
“…” They were defeated. Fox and Nol broke their alliance and ignored the she evil, who pouted before smirking, closing her legs in disappointment. On the other hand, Alea and Lyan, the one-way pure saints, shook their heads.
Nala Loba refused to show any reaction, though.
After a bit, Fox was treated from his back to his lower belly. Besides colored medicine, Nol used a few instruments to arrange his skin with rope-like strings among others, which Fox somewhat felt his skin squirming with, like endless tiniest worms all worked up.
Nala Loba guided him out, letting him rest with a few extra layers of protection, gadgets like skin partitions to cover his wounds from sweat and any other filth or fluid. When exiting the HQ, with Mena not present at the reception, they stopped.
They didn’t speak on their way out, nor did they seem to have something to say, but equally at the same time, they stopped and turned to each other. It seemed like they had something they could talk about.
“I guess I can say I didn’t see your nature and… codes before. I am now contacting you, but not to work again.” Nala Loba spoke first. Fox softly interjected, “Are you inviting me to your team?”
“What makes you think so.” Nala asked, with not a question. Fox didn’t argue. He just shook his head quick and a bit before expressing, “I’ll be honored to join if you offer me just that.”
“…” Nala Loba offered no further words, for a time. She slid her hands up her pants before crossing them at her ribs. “It’ll be your honor then. I’ll add you to my team. Welcome, Fox, Phesx Caolia. I will see to your improvement.”
Nala Loba then tilted her head, forming an exquisite frown, “Have you gone to the doctor lately? In the HQ, not your therapist, or whoever else.”
“Mm, no. I will after our task. No problem?” Fox arched his neck, gaining a pair of eyes briefly, before showing annoyance. Yet, he spoke with a calm attitude. Nala Loba nodded after thinking for a bit.
Bending her body a little low, she gestured to the streets before returning to the HQ, leaving a few words behind. “Get ready soon, you already know we must act quick when we do.”
“Mn,” Fox nodded, remaining seated on the sidewalk for a while longer before standing up. Both wore their worker uniform, looking quite like a pair of doofuses disputing about marriage. After Fox relaxed enough that he grew bored, he headed to his suite.
… There, he saw Teon, who wore a camisole she could only have bought with his money. He tilted her head, but since she was a good delicacy for the eyes, he let her be. Teon brushed her teeth, greeting Fox by sending her head upwards before ignoring him, flashing her tiny under butt.
Fox walked in and drank an entire bottle of water of 1 liter. Then, he went to Teon, who watched TV. He grabbed her like a puppy and lied on the sofa, but instead of caressing her belly or neck, he ruffled his palm on her hair.
“Gyaaah.” Teon exclaimed before growing used to it, as always. She kept brushing her teeth before poking his wrist with her nose to go clean her mouth. When she returned after he let her go, Fox was resting with his eyes closed.
Teon tilted her head before scurrying back into his arms, like a dog feeling clingy. Watching the TV, she murmured, knowing he wasn’t asleep. “Just a little. If you can’t sleep quickly enough, I’ll just go to my bed. Ack!”
Fox slapped her head, making her cutely exclaim before giggling from her nostrils. Fox then cuddled her tummy and tussled her hair again, resting his eyes and body. It was pretty calm now. If only it could’ve been like that since long ago.
… After a while, in the living room, everything was dark. Only the TV was still on, showing news Fox usually watches at night, usually prioritizing Proteros’s matters. Fox slowly opened his eyes, almost falling asleep but deciding not to by his body, always almost.
“The case has, as they say in ANS, ‘grown cold’.” Fox opened his eyes only to see the channel reveal something of importance to him. It was a female announcer who was previously cut off amidst her section. “The bikers, who used their legal rights to defend themselves from the mayoralty’s lawsuit against their instigation of the defensive measures a man was forced to take.”
“According to the reports submitted just 2 hours ago, after being let go of, each of these people were fined 20,000 credits each. The money will be used for reimbursement to the murder of a wife, a mother; a woman’s man, husband, and son, half her life.” The announcer worded before a small frame appeared beside her atop the screen. It was smallish compared to the announcer.
“I can’t believe my family is broken! Broken! Awwoooo!” A light brown woman with a hunched back and guttural female voice cried out loud, rubbing her eyes with rolling motions from her hands. “My heart is BROOOOO-keeeen! I am so thankful, thank you, thank you, thank you mayoralty. Ah, mayoraltyyy!”
“Those are the words of Estela Urtiga, the words of a mother.” The announcer sternly spoke with an equal nod before another small frame appeared, rapidly enlarging into the full screen. It showed the bikers Fox knew, with most of them dispirited, and the young woman from the couple the deceased young man saved crying her heart out without saying a word.
They exited a governmental office building, stomping down some stairs in the deep night.
“…” Fox didn’t realize when he sat up until after the images were replaced by a smiling male announcer, who now talked about animal rights and nature being saved from the current government’s projects.
Fox threw his back on the sofa, feeling his lungs alive again. He rolled his eyes and felt like killing. Tsking his lips, he shook his head before walking straight to his bedroom. He turned the TV off before throwing the control remote to another sofa.
When he opened the door, Teon was there, calmly sleeping on his bed while facing the ceiling. Fox looked with his polycoria eyes locked on her. He walked in, toured around his bed, and looked down at her face.
Picking a few hair strands to the side, Fox lowered his head and caressed her cheeks. Teon hummed a little, tender and swift, as Fox smooched her forehead. All thoughts of killing for the sake of killing vanished.
Not that he would target any person, especially with a mission happening soon. But Teon’s calm sleep and sweet sleeping image reminded him of Pheli. His time with her in Riverlye.
Fox continued caressing Teon’s face, blowing at her small nose a few times, remembering the first time they met, where she almost heavily injured him with a punch, although he wouldn’t know it would be that bad back then.
After another smooch to her flat, smooth forehead, Fox left, covering her body better and accommodating her head on his pillow.
…
