Introductions- Regulus

Regulus watched the siblings interact. The twins, as he was informed by Hadrian that Vi and the younger male were, reminded him of his relationship with Sirius.

“Where’s Hiro?” Vi asked her brothers.

“Isn’t he at Mahoutokoro?” The older brother countered.

“No, father insisted on dragging us both to Hogwarts,” Vi grumbled.

“Why?”

“Fuck if I know!” Vi sounded exasperated. “Wait, are you telling me you left him there?”

She turned to her twin.

“How was I supposed to get him?” He returned.

“So you fucking LEFT him where Ryoshi can get to him?”

Regulus wasn’t exactly sure who Ryoshi was to the siblings but it was very clear that Vi did not like him.

“I need to go get him” Vi moved to exit the room.

“Ms. Oda where do you think you’re going?” Snape demanded.

“Where the fuck do you think I’m going Professor?” She snapped. “I have to get my little brother out of there before Ryoshi realizes he’s there.”

“I assure you, Ms. Oda, your brother is perfectly safe at Hogwarts,” Snape replied.

“How many fucking times must I say it before you get it through your thick skull?” Vi practically screamed. “Ryoshi is a fucking ward breaker and the password to the common room won’t be enough to keep him out, especially since I’ve pissed him off ever since he arrived.”

“To be fair, he’s always pissed off at you no matter what you do,” Bastian pointed out.

“You do know I cursed him 3 separate times today yes?” Vi asked.

“You did what?” Her twin demanded.

“Oh do keep up Bricriu,” she snapped.

Regulus turned to Hadrian.

“Do you know who she’s talking about?” He asked.

“I didn’t catch his name but yeah I know the kid she’s talking about,” Hadrian answered quietly.

“Think you can get him here before they stop arguing?”

“Worth a shot. I’ll floo to the fireplace in our room. Should be fairly easy from there.”

Regulus glanced at his pocket watch.

“It’s just about time for breakfast so you’d best hurry if you want to catch him before he makes his way to the Great Hall,” Regulus told him.

“No need,” a voice came from behind them.

Regulus spun on his heel cursing himself for not being more aware of his surroundings. The boy in front of him was clearly only 11 but carried himself with a different air. It was similar to the one he’d grown up using as a son of the Black family. But somehow it was far more refined than the way purebloods held themselves. His eyes widened as he realized the boy looked almost exactly like his mother but with the traditional almond shaped eyes he inherited from his father.

“Hiro!” Vi exclaimed rushing to him.

She wrapped him in what Regulus could only say was a bone crushing hug.

“Bash what are you doing here?” Hiro asked his brother.

“Dad and ojiisan were here to talk to Vi,” he sighed.

“You found them then?” Hiro grinned at his sister.

She nodded and motioned to Hadrian, who was still standing next to Regulus.

“That’s Hadrian,” she told him.

“The dhampir then?” He asked.

She turned to him in surprise. Actually, they all did.

“How did you know?” She asked.

“Most everyone here aside from Bricriu is bosorcoi,” he shrugged. “Though I don’t have a good read on him, I suspect he’s just very good at hiding it because he’s not dominant and an unmated omega is like crack to dominants. Also, based off of the looks of those two,” he gestured to Regulus himself before pointing to Lucius and Narcissa, “the one who brought me here is their son and he is most certainly bosorcoi. And he told me he was your mate.”

“Draco brought you here?” She asked.

“I did,” Draco answered, quietly coming to stand beside the boy.

“How did you know to get him?” Bastian asked.

“I felt her power in the Great Hall last night when she was facing off against Professor Snape and I also felt someone was drawing it away from her when it became clear that she was going to lose control. I was sitting next to him when he said that Vi was his sister. With everything that happened with her uncle in Dumbledore’s office I thought it might not be over so when I felt her power surge again I went to get him. Figured she might need him again and if not, it was better for him to be away from their uncle until he goes back to Japan.”

“You’re just lucky you caught me before I went to the Great Hall,” Hiro laughed. “Speaking of which, I’m starving!”

Everyone laughed at that.

“If someone will show me to the kitchen, I’d be happy to make a traditional Japanese breakfast,” Vi chuckled.

“Oh no dear, that is why we have house elves,” his cousin waved her off.

“I don’t give a fucking flying rat’s ass if that is why you have house elves!” She snapped glaring at the woman. “I asked to be taken to the kitchen. I don’t intend to ask a second time.”

Regulus was dumbfounded. No one had ever spoken to Narcissa that way before and he could tell she didn’t like it.

“Well I have never been treated so poorly by a guest in my own home,” Narcissa gasped.

“Well you’ve never played host to royalty have you?” Hadrian asked.

Regulus watched Draco raise a brow at him but said nothing.

“Royalty?” Narcissa scoffed. “No one here is royalty.”

As he watched all four of the Oda children stood taller and more regally. That’s when he realized, they were royalty.

“You have the great honor of hosting part of the Japanese imperial family,” Vi’s voice had changed.

So not only did she now tower over his cousin, she was speaking far more eloquently and formally than she had before.

“You are looking at Bastian Ivaylo Oda, Bricriu Khaos Oda, Thana Visha Oda, and Hotoke Tatsuhiro Oda,” Vi told her.

Regulus found it odd that only the youngest had a fully Japanese name. Then again, Esarosa had always liked unusual names.

Your thoughts are very loud, Mr. Black, Vi’s voice slipped into his mind quite easily. And you’re right. Our mother did like unusual names. Our father named Hotoke because she died giving birth to a him. His name means dead person which is why I gave him the name Tatsuhiro. It means dragon or immense power. Seemed only fitting since both our father and uncle have names that mean dragon.
