Bastian Ivaylo Oda knew the instant his sister found her mates. His connection with her snapped. He was no longer tied to her. As a bosorcoi, he had been the only one able to keep her alive but as she got older it became harder to ignore the pheromones she exuded. Don’t get him wrong, he loved sex and he loved his sister but the two things together made his skin crawl. His phone rang, drawing him from his thoughts.
“I know,” he answered in lieu of a greeting.
“You felt it break then?” His brother asked.
“Yes and I am relieved,” he sighed.
“She may not accept the bond,” Bricriu reminded him.
Bastian barked out a laugh. If he knew Vi, and he did, he knew she would welcome the control of her magick and thirst but chafe against the protectiveness of her mates. The only good thing was, she was an alpha. Female alphas were extremely rare. In fact, Bastian knew of only one other female alpha and she wasn’t a kyuketsuki. She was bosorcoi, like him, and his mate.
Otsana stirred beside him, causing Lycaon to stir behind her since his cock was still seated in her ass.
“She’ll accept it, she has no choice,” Bastian sighed. “Will father accept them?”
“That remains to be seen,” Bricriu said wearily.
“Why is that?” Bastian asked.
“One is a dhampir, the other is a Malfoy and neither is dominant,” Bricriu explained.
Bastian knew for a fact that their father wouldn’t care that one of Vi’s mates was a dhampir. He would, however, not like that they were now linked to a family known to have dark ties.
“He’ll be fine with the dhampir but the Malfoy is going to be an issue,” Bastian told his brother. “Who is the dhampir?”
“One Hadrian Potter,” his brother answered.
“Kuso yarō!” Bastian could barely keep his voice down.
“What?” Bricriu asked confused.
Bastian rose from his bed and made his way to his study, not bothering with clothes. Once there, he poured himself a large saucer of cold sake. He downed it in one gulp then poured another before falling into the seat behind his desk.
“Hadrian Potter is the oldest son of the Potter Lord, James. His younger brother is hailed by Dumbledore as the boy who lived but anyone with half a brain knows that Hadrian is the one who defeated that madman. He’s the only Potter to have ever been sorted into Slytherin, as far as I know. He’s most certainly darker than his family and extremely powerful. Father is not going to like this.”
He took another long drink of sake.
“Wait, I thought the Potters didn’t have any creature blood in their lineage,” Bricriu began.
“They don’t but it’s possible Hadrian isn’t James’s son. In fact, his parentage has long been cause for speculation. Seeing as he was born not very long after his parents were married it’s possible his mother was already pregnant when she married James. And the only family I know that has vampire lineage in Britain is the Prince family.”
“Did you say the Prince family?” Bricriu asked.
“Yes, why?” Bastian answered.
“Professor Snape’s mother was a Prince,” he whispered.
“How do you know that?” Bastian demanded.
“Vi told me. She dug it from his mind in the Great Hall before she left.”
“That would mean that Hadrian could be his son.”
Hadrian is his son, Vi’s voice sounded in his head.
“Did you hear her?” Bricriu asked.
“Yeah,” Bastian sighed.
I know what you’re thinking. Vi’s voice sounded again. How is Hadrian Snape’s son? Right?
“She’s not wrong,” Bastian chuckled.
Lily Evans and Snape were in love before the war. She knew he was drawn to the dark arts and did everything she could to keep him away from it. Unfortunately, she couldn’t stop him. At the time, roughly 3/4s of the way through their 7th year, she couldn’t take it anymore and she broke things off with him. Not long after that, she discovered she was pregnant but from what I learned from Hadrian himself she never told Snape about the pregnancy so he doesn’t know Hadrian is his. Seems she married James and performed a blood adoption on him the day he was born. Seems like the adoption started losing its potency when he came into contact with Draco and eventually mated him. If that’s the case, the adoption should be completely gone by morning. Iv, I think we’re going to need you here to deal with the fallout from this revelation. I have to deal with Hadrian when he finds out he’s Snape’s son, so I need you to deal with father because he probably already knows. These next few days are going to be hell.
What she didn’t say was that they were going to be especially hard on her.
