Okay I’m gonna try to keep this short but I realized that I never explained why only Hadrian can understand Vi when she speaks Japanese. So now that we know what Hadrian’s home life has been like I thought I’d explain. So Draco reveals that his father doesn’t really interact much with him unless it’s to berate him. So Hadrian tends to avoid him. Lily, on the other hand when she does look at him, only sees Snape. So she avoids him. Thus Hadrian spends a lot of time alone. Due to this, he learns new things almost constantly. His favorite thing to learn aside from magic is languages. He speaks multiple languages fluently and several others fairly fluently. He’s what’s known as a polyglot. In contrast, Draco is only bilingual. Hope that covers it!
