After Jin resolved things quickly with the debt collectors, he went back to the real estate agency and turned back from orange haired to blue haired. ‘Still can’t forget to buy a house or pay those debt collectors back. I’ll settle with the house first.’

But when he got back to the real estate company, it was closed.  ‘What the hell!? I just got back! This is utterly filled with bull!!!!’ Jin screamed within his heart. But all he could do was get depressed and walked away to the next place which was to get fire arms/weapons. But even then, when he got to the place to get weapons, the store was closed.

“What day is today? Some holiday? What in the world is going on?” Jin’s head started to ache because his plans might be slowed down a bit. ‘No matter. I still got tomorrow. What is going without weapons? I still… got… my hands…’ But to face reality, Jin was not used to doing big things without a lot of back up plans and they consists mostly of weapons.

“Hm? Houyi. Is that you?” A familiar voice called out to him

Jin turned around to see that it was the man he’d helped not too long ago. “Mister Octavious. Nice to see you again.”

“Hm? Shouldn’t the question be, ‘What are you doing here?’ or, ‘How’d you find me here?’ Houyi?” He said to Jin with an eyebrow raised.

“Haha… Maybe because I know why you are here?” Jin smiled.

“Huh? Now this sounds interesting. Alright, tell me then” Octavious crossed his arms and smiled as well.

“You must be here… to help me buy a gun!” Jin laughed. ‘… I have a feeling that this guy knows what I’ve done so far… Maybe as much as Mirana… I’ll lie!’

“Eh? A-are you out of your mind?” Octavious’ face just hurts when he heard the lie.

“I was just kidding. Why are people so serious?” Jin pouted his lips.

“Heheh… I only hoped that you were kidding kid. If you weren’t, I would buy a gun now to shoot you” Octavious lightly smiled.

“*Glup* Heh heh heh heh” Jin really hoped that he was joking.

“Well, I’ll be straight forward with you son.” Octavious said warmly as he walks towards Jin. He stopped only two feet in front of Jin. “I see that you have… a unique personality. Hmm… Not the right way to put it… But it is different in many ways.”

Jin didn’t know what he was getting at. “… Was that a compliment? So… you are saying… that I am unique?”

“Doesn’t really matter if you are unique or not. Just let me finish” Octavious was still all smiles while speaking. “You are not like other people. Your choices are unique. Your state of mind… a little of a mess. I hope. But your desire to help others is strong. A good person like that needs someone beside him. A girl perhaps? I want you to consider marrying my-”

“Rejected” Jin answered flatly.

“Huh? But you didn’t let me finish!” Octavious’ face changed greatly from smiles to shock.

“I’ve no intentions of marrying a person any time soon.” Jin really have no intentions of marrying anyone. Not even Meracle.

“B-but... My daughter is really beautiful. She won’t disappoint you!” Octavious was really trying hard to convince Jin to marry his daughter.

“*Sigh* Mister Octavious. You know you are asking a man who you’d just met by helping you out not too long ago right? Bearing that fact in mind, you do not know what kind of person I am. Not only that, I, am not a person who should marry anyone. It does not matter how beautiful your daughter is but how happy she will be if she takes the right person.” Jin said out of consideration. “So I think it is really best to not jump the gun before someone gets blown”

“Heh… Funny you should say that.” Octavious chuckled. Octavious was no longer all smiles. He pulls out a gun and aimed it at Jin’s head. “I think I am a good judge of character. But… you’re making me think twice.”

Jin’s eyes widen. “Ha ha! This is the first time I’m being threatened to marry someone!”

“There is a first time for everything in this world.” Octavious smirked.

“This is unreasonable! I’ve yet to meet your daughter!” Jin whimpered.

“Oh… We can fix that very fast.” Octavious started to hum a little tune that sounded exactly like the wedding music one would hear in church.

This was beyond what Jin could comprehend. A man, who he helped, now threatens him to marry his daughter with a gun. There was absolutely no logic! It was pure randomness and madness to Jin.

“… Can I at least hear the name of your daughter?” Jin asked. If he wants to marry someone, he needed to know how to break up with them safely. Especially if the father was already so crazy.

“Eh… You’ll learn in a month’s time. ^.^.” Octavious puts the gun away and went back to being all smiley.

Jin’s heart sank when he heard that he will learn of the name within a month. The pain was almost unbearable to him because he already met too many crazy women in his life. For once, he wanted a normal woman to chase after.

“Oh, that’s right. I saw you in the morning at a real estate company. Were you planning to buy a house?” Octavious quickly asked.

“!? How did you?????????” Jin didn’t expect to hear such a question.

“Hmmmm. I just so happened to see you in the morning going to work. I also saw how… slow you were in the morning as well. Ha ha…” Octavious chuckled.

This got Jin’s mind to hurt. It was an embarrassing moment for him.

“Forget about the blunders, I really want to talk about you and finding a good place to live.” Octavious changed the subject.

Jin made a semi-pained and laughing face. “Alright then. I’m all ears sir.”

“Heh. Alright then. Since you’ve readily agreed… Follow me.” Octavious said as he led Jin over to the closed up real estate company in which he left in the morning.

Jin’s face became confused. “Huh? But this is…”

Octavious walked up to the front entrance and opened the doors with a set of keys from his pockets. “Welcome to my company Houyi. No. Rather, I should call you Jin. Am I right?”

Jin’s face paled. He was sure that he hid a lot of information about himself away from prying eyes. Yet, standing before him, was a man who was as equally as dangerous as Mirana. ‘… It can’t be… Silva? Please don’t let it be true…’

But that all soon came to a conclusion when Octavious led him into the upper floor into the boss’ room. On the desk had the name, “Octavious D Silva” and a picture frame of his entire family. The father had brown hair and amber eyes in the picture while the mother had white hair and sky blue eyes. Between them was two little girls. Twins. One had white hair and amber eyes. The other, brown hair and sky blue eyes.

“Hm? Your daughters… Are they?” Jin starts to ask.

Octavious came over and picks up the picture frame. “Our daughters… They inherited special genes within their bodies. So the dominant traits really doesn’t matter much as you can see. They may look a little strange. But they… are so beautiful aren’t they?” He then removes his eye contacts to prove that he had amber eyes.

‘So that’s how Mirana got her hair color and eyes.’ Jin was a little surprised when he heard this. This was the most interesting subject he’d ever heard in a long time. “Yes. Yes they are beautiful.”

“I… only have these two girls.” He started to cry.

Jin didn’t say a thing.

“M-My wife… Bu-*sniff*sniff*” Octavious started to blubber.

Jin stayed silent as ever.

“What would I do if my two daughters can’t find a man? Ahhhhh” Octavious softly cries.

“… I only got about three years to live Octavious. So you can stop those croc tears.” Jin said flatly and interrupted his crying.

“!!! What!?” Octavious’ tears instantly stopped. “What you mean!?”

“I mean what I mean. I only got about three years left to live. So you can stop those croc tears. It won’t work on a man who is about to die in the future” Jin answered.

“B-b-but! That would mean!” Octavious’ acting become nothing but wasted efforts now.

“Yup. Your daughter would be a widow after two or three years and would have to remarry.” Jin said those words as plain as day.

“M-my god… You aren’t messing around with me are you!?” Octavious wanted to wail.

“Nope. Worst of all, I am technically jobless and homeless.” It was now that Jin started to mess with Octavious. ‘So you want to cry fake tears eh? I’ll let you cry then old man. Don’t blame me for this.’

“Please tell me that you at least have money.” Octavious desperately wished that the man he sees in front of him was not pathetic.

But Jin betrayed all expectations by saying, “I gamble my money.” Which destroyed all hopes he had for Jin because it hinted towards losing all the money in gambling.

Octavious fell to his knees crying for real this time. ‘I can’t believe this! This man is a regular hobo!’ But as time passes on, he started to think a little more. ‘Wait… he might just be screwing around with me… If not, how could he get those contracts!? He must be lying to me!!!! If he isn’t lying… Then I will make sure… That he… will… become… the one!’

‘Am I off the hook? Do I still have to marry? Never mind that. I need to sneak out…’ Jin thought decisively as he tried to run.

But Octavious didn’t let him. Octavious grabbed him by the collar. “You! Are! Not! Going! To! Get! Away! That! Easily!!!!!”

Jin could see the bloody tears streaming down his angry face. ‘Oh fml…’

“I will reform you into a better man!” Octavious was now more determined to fix Jin up to be a man worthy of his daughter.

‘Oh noes… I just made my life worse…’

Jin stayed behind for hours at Octavious’ company listening to his lectures and being reformed quite thoroughly through training until it was ten o clock pm.

By the end of it, Jin’s body ached of pain because he pretended to be weak and took a lot of punches. Octavious really hits hard. His head was also really dizzy because of the long lectures in which he endured. It was obvious that Mirana’s father had much plans for him and only gave him the introductory training. Not that he needed it. But to fake ignorance in the business world is a hard thing. He was being constantly nagged about his care free act. ‘Belphegor… being lectured about the business world and being taught what I already know… Afterwards… Went through an hour of taking a long beating… really… Really… not a good thing…’

“Alright Jin. Since you’ve went this far, I at least have to give you an early present.” Octavious threw a bunch of files towards Jin. “Can’t leave you homeless now!”

When Jin looked through the files, he noticed that the paper inside were a bunch of houses being sold. “T-This is…”

“I would really like you to live somewhere close to my daughter’s house. If possible, get closer to her. You know one of those clichés. Meeting by fate, love at first sight, all those mushy and love by chance stuff.” Octavious smiled.

But by looking through the papers, Mirana was not far from Meracle’s house! They were only separated by one house sitting between them and it was for sale! ‘Why didn’t anyone ever tell me this before?’ Jin wickedly smiled. “If you insist, then I’ll take this house!” Jin laid down the papers for the house directly between Mirana’s house and Meracle’s house.

“Oh? That house? Not bad. Very daring and a little too obvious if she finds out. Are you sure?” Octavious liked surprises. Especially good ones. If only he knew what went on Jin’s mind.

“… I really want to know Mr. Silver. Why are you so insistent on me?  Isn’t there hundreds or thousands of better people than me? In the population of at least eight billion good people and on the planet with the radius of 500,000 and something miles, why me?” Jin asked in a confused tone.

“Oh. Was that all? Hmmm… In the population of eight billion and on the planet with the radius of 500,000 miles….. I guess there are people who might be better than you, more handsome than you, stronger than you, richer than you, and more famous than you with a better potential for a better future….” Octavious admits.

Jin wanted to cough up blood. ‘He didn’t have to say it so bluntly…’

“But out of all of them. Tell me, how many are as nice as you to help a stranger? Fifty percent? Alright. Let’s say it is fifty percent. 4 billion. But of that, how many are willing to be as prideless as you when it comes to fighting? Five percent? Twenty at best! So let’s say it is twenty. Two hundred million to eight hundred million. Of that twenty percent, who would be as truly prideless to fight in front of another person to save another person? Now, that is about half of that twenty percent if we were to say that it exists in everyone.” Octavious continues to babble on. “But what makes you more unique is the fact that you… have a strong will, able to take blows, and still win without fighting for real and… shaming the enemy to the point of tears. How many can do that? Out of hundreds of thousands of people I’ve seen, you are the only one to do that. So it is already less than one percent. But from what I know, you help someone you did not know like an idiot. Not the best of decisions. You don’t know if they are good or bad! Yet you helped anyway. Luckily, the person you help is me.” Octavious begins the long winded explanation.

Jin inwardly groaned. The entire thing was an insult to him in his ears. ‘*Ugh* helping this guy is sure… interesting… especially when he helps back and giving explanations….’

 “I chose you is because… of the day I saw you fighting. Within those eyes, there remains no pride of victory which I can understand. But your eyes held a certain… feeling to it. Something in which I cannot describe. Heh… You almost remind me of… well… me.” Octavious smirked.

“…” Jin had no words to say. It was very baffling to him.

Octavious saw the baffled look on Jin’s face and almost laughed. “You don’t have to hide it either Jin. After I saw you walking out of my estate company, I followed you. I saw fighting those debt collectors in order to help a girl. Which I find very very respectable.”

“What!? You saw me!? Then doesn’t that mean you were tailing me!?” Jin was shocked to hear it.

“*HUK!* Heh heh… Continuing on…” Octavious tried to avoid the subject of stalking Jin. It slipped out because he was a little excited after he saw the hilarious scene of cat and mouse. But most of all, he liked how sweet Jin acted even when the woman did something wrong and still tried to comfort her and resolve her problems for her.

Jin showed a face of, “I don’t believe that so you can stop hiding it”

“Okay fine. I was tailing you and chose you because I liked the way you solve things alright!? They are funny and unique. Plain and simple. But most of all, you look loyal and sweet enough for my daughter. Okay?” Octavious finally admits. ‘Plus you got Rosa’s father mad enough that he lost a potential son in law. That won it for me ha ha…’

“Does your daughter know that she is about to marry a hobo?” Jin asked. “I also have no intentions of marrying anyone. I might not have the ability to love. Are you sure?”

“Nope. But I will at least make sure you are not a hobo by the time you meet her. Ha ha!” Octavious laughed.

‘Unbelievable! Unconceivable! How can a man give away his daughter to a stranger!? There is something wrong with this man!’ Jin thought.

“But I do approve of you. Even if it is for just one year. I want to see my daughter beside someone who is worth it. So please Jin. Do not disappoint me” Octavious begged.

“You really know how to choose people.” Jin mutters. “The both of you…”

“Huh? Does that mean…” Octavious had his hopes up.

“I’m willing to try. She sounds nice. Just… don’t expect much.” Jin sighed. “I’m willing to… ‘hit on your girl’ but if she doesn’t like me, then I’ll be cupid to help her fall in love at least. I’m no good with love but I’m one hell of a wing man who can find a good man for your girl. I can… judge people so to speak. Also, the people I hook others up with are… usually in love for a long time and are loyal. So you don’t have to worry. They even have great abilities to make your daughter happy. So, that’s the deal. Deal?”

“Of course!”Octavious was speechless. Jin just told him not to expect much. If there were things related to his daughters, of course he would expect a lot. But after hearing that Jin was willing to become a wing man and a successful one at that, he was willing to agree. ‘But I’ll make sure you will end up with her’ He wickedly thought.

“About the house…” Jin’s voice hinted.

“Oh that!? All yours.” Octavious quickly answers.

“!!! That fast!?”

“Ha ha! I am a business owner Jin. I can handle things in a jiffy. So don’t worry about the house. It is all yours now as long as you are able to keep your promise” Octavious’ face was all smiley and almost looked embarrassing to look at.

“Alright then. I’ll keep my promise. I will try to get your daughter.” Jin said and left.

After Jin left, Octavious began to scheme after he was finished with the house business. He started to make multiple plans on how to make his daughter fall in love with the new potential soul mate he’d set for his daughter. “Ho ho ho ho! I’ll make sure you and Mirana won’t let go of each other after this! Kakakakaka! You will be forever loyal to her!!!!”

Jin felt a shiver going up his spine. ‘Dear heavens… I felt like I did something wrong…’
