Dorian:"Wait why is it called a MAC Cannon. If the word Cannon is already in the acronym, why put the second cannon? That's like saying D.C Comics, it's Detective Comics already, why add the extra comics?"

Dorian:"Shut up ma, no one likes you." I say while performing a manly pout.

Dorian:"Why me? I havnt even gotten to catch up to my ma all that much. Plus, it's not like I'm as powerful as you, you can easily defend the Academy and city. And don't give me some bullshit about divinity being unable to interfere cause if that's the case I wouldn't be allowed to either due to being a nephilim. I bet you're just being lazy."

Lucifer:"Dorian I swear by my father that if you don't go out there and do my job for me, I'll make you clean the bathrooms, stables, and locker rooms of the entire academy. Plus, if you kill a bunch of the soldiers, you'll get more powerfull."He says with consternation on his cherubic face.

Desdemona:"Wait you're killing people?"

Dorian:"Well not yet. I have yet to actually kill someone. Horribly maim? Yes. Kill? No. Plus, we can only temporarily talk ma, I won't be able to again until I kill the people responsible for my kidnapping." I say with resignation in hoping she'll see my side of things.

Desdemona:"........Fine."

Dorian:"Really? Like for real?" I say in disbelief.

Desdemona:"Your a grown man now Dorian, you make your own decisions in life, even if I disagree, or hate them. Plus it's like you said, we won't be able to talk to each other for a while. I wouldn't want there to be resentment throughout that time. You're my son, I love you."My mother says as she comes over to me and gives me a hug as her eyes start to water. "I just want you to be safe, please no stupidities, be smart, love your girlfriend and friends."

Lucifer:"Well actually I should be able to let you guys talk like once a month. It's only a basic communications spell and you can have enough time to catch up. Just remember, a month here is a year there."

Dorian:"Alright ma, I'll see you later, I love you. Also thanks for keeping my phone safe. Say do you got the charger?" I ask and a moment later she returns with it.

Taking a moment, I look to the others and they say their goodbyes to my meanwhile I send a DC current through and start charging my phone so I could have my music.

We all walk out of the room back into the hallway and head back to Lucifer's reception room.

Dorian:"Hey Scratch... thanks. For everything."

Lucifer:"Just remember Dorian, when the time comes I expect you to hold up you're end of the deal. But you're welcome nonetheless, sometimes I forget that it can be nice to have family, even if it's just one or two people.*sighs*Come on, we need to head towards the eastern gates. The Lost Empire is converging their roles there.

Dorian:"Alright everyone, let's head out."
