*Later that Night*

Fuck being on watch is boring, nothing ever happens.

I mean, not even any ninjas or assasins or anything. Im guarding a Prince for fucks sake.

Plus i still have not found any good books or music in this reality, also they dont have an equivilant of Youtube or Netflix in this reality.

*Sighs*I might as well study the schematics for the chained crow. I may have came up with the idea, but i didnt actually make the weapon. I should probably do some maintenance. Smith said he left instructions and the tools to do so in the case.

I then proceeded to use the Force to grab the weapons case for the Crow and bring it to me. At least my control of the Force is improving. I wanna get to cultivating both my mana and ki, but i wanna wait till i start getting the diminishing returns on training naturally.

I grab the case out of the air and open it too take a look at the instructions for maintenance.

Dorian:"Alright so lets see what Smith did. So first i have to put the Crow in the Unchained mode if i want to do any maintenance or modifications. The chains also dont rust? Thats cool. One less thing i need to worry about. He also made the concussion cannon a focus for mana and ki. Thatll make using it easier." As i start to focus on the Crow, i spread out the Force to sense my surroundings, can never be too careful.

After another two hours, i feel something on the edge of my senses. A figure is slowly coming this way, maybe about 15ft away.

Still reading the instructions to not give away that i know the person is there, i slowly use the Force to figure out more details about the being.

About 5'4 with a slim lean build. I can sense multiple blades hidden on their body, they even have a spool of wire. Wonder if its one of those steel wire weapons you see in anime all the time. Always thought thats a horrible way to go if youre killed by them. The person also seems to be wearing a chest plate, cant tell if its a woman or a man. One thing however does stand out about them. They have wings and their feet have talons. A bird person or Harpy most likely.

Damn theyre taking a long time, seriously that entire time i was analysing them, they only made it three feet. Maybe its cause their taloned feet, they might be trying to keep them from making clicking noises.

My paitience is wearing thin.

I then decide to use the Force to turn off the hallway light by smashing the Magitech bulb.

Now to throw them off.

Dorian:"Sonuva bitch, the light burst again. How many times does this shit have to happen?"

I then feel the tension of the Would-be assassin get released. Thats right, your not the only one that can be Sneaky Beaky like. 

I then proceed to flail around as if i cant see where in goining while having my hands in front of me.I then deliberately start walking with loud footsteps. 

They just turned the corner of the hall.

I start wandering around in the dark, making it seem like i dont know where im going while etching closer to the assassin. They tensed up again, but this time to attack me. 

Would work if they knew how to conceal bloodlust.

Why the fuck would you not send a professional that knows how to conceal bloodlust when you send an assassin after a Prince? Thats just poor planning. At least im not bored any more.

Shit theyre coming fast. Theyre about five feet away when theh pull out a dagger.

I then use the Force to pull the dagger and assailant towards me while moving out of the way, putting them off balance while i stick my foot out and trip them.

They fall forward but go into a silent combat roll.

Oi, how the fuck did you do that silently? I cant combat roll without sounding like a Minetaur in a China Shop.

I then pull the Chained Crow towards me and out of the open case, while using the Force to transform it into AxeSword mode.

I catch it by the hilt and twist it around in front of me, parrying a thrown dagger.

From the smell in the air, the dagger was poisoned. Wonder if it was a contact poison or a poison that needed an open wound. 

Me and the Assasin are at a standstill for a few seconds while all we hear is silence in the hall, but the revelries going on in the bar in the floors below.

I just realised this is my first ever real life or death fight.

Shit now in getting a bit anxious, calm down brain.

The assassin is moving to the side silently, they must think im fighting off of instinct. I release the chain and swing at the assassin, using the Force to guide the blades. 

The assassin ducks underneath while simultainiously running foreward underneath the chain.

I quickly pull the blades back with the Force while reinforcing my body with my ki, increasing my speed, and running towards the assassin, jumping at the last second to escape the slash towarda my knees, and then pushing myself down with the Force to land on the assassin. 

Fuck im getting a headache, must be the constant use of the Force, must be running low on Force Points.

I land on the assassins back as the blades reattatch to the hilt of the Crow.

The assassin then brings their wings up to knock me off of them. 

By now the assassin must realise that i could have very easily killed them just then. Then again im just realising that as well.

I then use the Force to sense around me.

Im gonna have to improvise to buy time to focus all three of my energies.

Dorian:"So assassin, you wouldnt be here for a certain prince would you?"Silence from them.

Dorian:"What? Cat got your tongue BirdBrain? Dont worry, ill be taking it soon enough." That oughta get a response.

???:"I heard you had a sharp tongue, but no one told me about your scathing wit."Says the assasin with a sarcastic female voice.

Dorian:"Let me guess, youre one of the Princes many fans, and you just want a chance to be in the same room with him. What, are you so ugly that you need to cover your face and spy on him at night just so you can get wet over the sight if him?"

???:"How dare you!"

Dorian:"Oh no wait, youre actually an ex-lover, and youre jealous that so many women fawn over him. I never took pretty boy to be a player." My antagonize skill is getting a good work out tonight.

She seems to be staying silent. Dont tell me i actually hit the mark. Thats just sad.

Yanderes are sad people when you think of it. I cant help but pity them.

That ought to be enough time.

I then focus my three energies around my body and push out with as much effort as i can. This causes the wires to snap and the stalker chick to go flying backwards, crashing through a door. Shit thats the Princes room!!

I run in as the doors to Dag, Thia, and Liliths rooms open.

The Prince is awake and the window on the other side of the room is smashed open with some blood  and glass on the floor. I must have injured her badly.

Julian:"Thanks for the wakeup call. Next time just shake me and call out my name." Someone doesnt like being woken up.

Dag:"What happened here?"

Dorian:"Turns out pretty boy had a stalker. Not just any onld stalker either, apparently she was an ex-lover. A birdkin of some kind."

Julian:"What are you talking about, i dont go sleeping around with random women?" He says with indignation an a high strung voice.

Youre not helping your case here dude...

Dorian:"Sure, and im not from another reality. Next time you have a stalker ex that knows how to fight, let us know. If it was anyone else on watch, it wouldve been a close call for them."

Julian:"I DONT HAVE TO TELL YOU ANYTHING. Especially anything about my love life." This dumbass motherfucker.

Dorian:"You listen here fucktard, i may be here to protect you, but im gonna protect you however the fuck i want. Im not gonna let you be a pompous, ingrateful ass that gets me and my friends killed. You got a deathwish, fullfill it on your own time." I hate assholes like him. Ingrate.

Lilith:"Dorian, please let it go, we are just all tired and on edge."

Dorian:*sighs*"Fine. Dag, you got next watch, im tired." Got a migraine from the overuse of the Force and then that final energy blast.

Lilith:"Come on, youre sleeping in my room."

Dag:"Yeah you head to bed Dorian. I got things here."

Thia:"Goodnight everyone."

Dorian:"Night." I say as me a Lilith go to her room.

As she closes the door, Lilith comes to hug me and says,

Lilith:"Dorian are you okay?"

Dorian:"Yeah, im ok love."

Lilith:"Thanks for sticking up for us, even when nothing was said about us. Its good to know you care."

I put down the Chained Crow and  then carry her to the bed and lay down with her after kicking off my shoes.

Dorian:"Of course i care about you." I say then kiss her lightly on the lips.

Lilith:"Thank you Dorian." 

We then turn off the lights and head to bed. 

Tonight had been a long night.
