CHAPTER 74: The Seduction Master

CHAPTER 74: The Seduction Master

“Is he actually here just to celebrate the festival?”

Kiara wondered as she followed Levi, hiding among the shadows of the crowd. This morning, Eliza and she were supposed to leave the city so they could go to their home mansion, but Eliza changed her mind. Her order was simple: keep an eye on Levi.

Kiara found it weird how and why Eliza was so obsessed with him. She was close with Eliza to ask her, but still, there was a fine boundary between a master and her servant. The crowd and the festive music were becoming a nuisance in her stalking task, but she couldn’t complain after all.

After a while of following Levi, for the first time, she felt Levi stop in his tracks, not to shop for souvenirs. He turned around, and Kiara could feel his eyes looking at her, even though she was practically invisible.

Levi quickly moved towards an alley, and his action spoke a clear message.

“Follow me.”

Kiara felt a shiver run down her spine. Only two people had managed to see through her skill: the Duke of Braveheart and his wife. She quickly moved through the crowd, pushing them without any concern.

Once she entered the alley, she could see Levi looking straight at her. Now that she was close to him, she could feel it. Levi couldn’t see her but knew she was there.

Without a moment of hesitation, Kiara moved towards Levi, grabbed his collar, flung him up and smashed him straight into the ground.

*Bam.*

Levi let out a groan in pain and grabbed Kiara’s hand which wouldn’t budge an inch. Her skill was over, and Levi could finally see the panic in Kiara’s eyes. She finally understood why her lady wanted to keep an eye on such a guy.

‘He definitely isn’t normal.’

To be able to see through her ability wasn’t an easy job at all. After all, he was born with this ability or title. “A Presence To Forget.”

That is what her title was, and it was an S-rank title since the start. Coming from an abusive noble family, Kiara always wanted to stop existing or become someone people didn’t remember.

Her father wasn’t a saint, and her mother, an incarnation of the devil. To her, Kiara wasn’t her daughter, but a decoration that she carried around to show their beautiful lineage.

However once Kiara started to grow, she became more beautiful, a lot more than her mother. The despicable woman couldn’t handle it and would often slap Kiara to “erase” her beauty.

Her wanting to be forgotten and to forget everything that happened to her caused a miracle and unlocked this title. She made good use of it and got away from that household. Because of some fortunate events, she met the Duke Braveheart and was assigned as Eliza’s guard. That household provided everything that had broken her heart into pieces.

Especially, Eliza, her warm smile and demeanour melted her heart and sorrow. She wasn’t just a master to Kiara; she was Kiara’s “family” that she always wanted.

And now seeing that precious soul worry about someone so much that she didn’t want to meet her father worried Kiara and also feared losing Eliza.

In a stern voice, Kiara looked Levi dead in the eyes and took hold of his collar even tighter.

“Who are you? How could you see me? And what are your intentions for being here?”

She wanted to ask more, but doing so might reveal her true identity, which Levi already knew. Levi wanted to move away from her. He had fought many, a lot stronger than him before, but none could compare to Kiara. She was on a different level.

Levi just gave up on moving and said, “I don’t mean any harm, okay? My name is Levi, it’s not like you don’t know, but listen, I really am here just to relax.”

Kiara didn’t buy his words and took out her sword, pressing it on his forehead.

“Don’t lie; otherwise, I will-”

“Yeah, I know, kill me, right? Kill me all you want, but listen to me first.”

Levi quickly cut her off because the more they argued, the more time they wasted. Pulling the utmost sincerity, Levi could from the depth of his heart, Levi said, “I just have a good sense, okay? That is all, and I am not the danger you should worry about.”

Kiara still didn’t believe Levi. She almost pressed the sword right through him but felt a presence that wasn’t meant to be there. Using her title meant nobody could see her, but its downside was her senses would also be dulled to that of a child. She had been following Levi through the city and didn’t notice the Majins, but now she could clearly notice their presence.

“There are Majins in this city. Don’t ask me how and why; I am clueless but I do know one thing. They aren’t here just to relax like I am.” Levi’s words made Kiara realize the situation they were in. She quickly let go of Levi as both stood up from the ground. To Kiara, those Majins seemed a bigger threat than Levi, and even if he was one of them, she would immediately know.

“If you are a threat to my lady, then I will kill-”

“Yeah, yeah, I know. Plus, you shouldn’t say 'my lady' in front of a guy you don’t trust.” Kiara had never revealed her position and hit her head cutely in frustration. In the heat of the moment and her love for Eliza, she couldn’t help but threaten Levi, revealing some stuff which he knew.

Levi knew his fate if he hurt Eliza, ‘I am so fucked if they know what “I” said to her in the past and the duel we had. Also, her hating me would be a nail in my coffin.’

Patting dust off his trousers, Levi stood up and looked at Kiara, “Any plans?”

Kiara nodded her head, “Yes, I need to make sure the lady is safe. While I am at that, I should gather the city guards and other Awakeners to move to protect the crowds. We just cannot reveal this information to the public. It will not only cause mass panic but let the enemy know of our motives.”

That was a good plan because if the Majins knew they had been found, they would surely go on a rampage.

“What are you going to do?” Kiara asked Levi as she hid the sword under her cloak.

Levi didn’t have much of a plan because he couldn’t risk revealing his powers in such a crowd. “I am just going to follow the Majins and maybe stop them if they try anything funny.”

Though Levi wasn’t normal, Kiara doubted he could even get a scratch on them. Kiara didn’t say anything further activated her title and left the alley.

Levi too came out of the alley. Using his Sense and lesser eyes, he was keeping an eye on three of the Majins; the other five weren’t in his range. As he moved through the street, he noticed a lot more guards and Awakeners in disguise.

‘She didn’t waste any time.’

However, the problem was none of

they knew where the Majins were. All they could do was wait for something to happen. And Levi didn’t have much trust in them to stop what was coming.

Levi personally was following one of the Majins while the other two were being handled by the lesser eyes. The woman in front of him had the normal festive attire. She adored a red one-piece with a long hat. Her eyes were covered by a mask that most people in the crowd wore.

Levi checked her status and knew she was one of the Majins. Her skill “Devil Thorns” definitely wasn’t a skill that could be normally obtained. If she went on a killing spree, it would take the lives of more than fifty people in an instant.

And as Levi had guessed, the worst was about to take place. He could see a small magic circle form right at the fingertips of the woman.

‘Shit.’ He needed to do something, something that would stop her temporarily from attacking without causing any ruckus. A plan immediately came to his mind, but it was kind of on the side of being a creep.

‘Well, reputation doesn’t matter at the cost of lives.’ Levi quickly approached the woman before she could cast the spell. Wiping his palm on his trousers, he then moved his hand and grabbed the woman’s waist.

“Heikk.” The woman let out a noise in surprise and looked to her right.

With a smug on his face, Levi looked at the woman and gripped her even harder. “Hello, beautiful lady.”

The girl found Levi's face really attractive, hit his hand away, and pushed him. “Get away, creep.”

Levi immediately grabbed her hand and pulled her closer. “I know I am a creep, but my heart seems to sail towards those ocean-blue eyes.”

A cringe and cheesy line, but it did work, as Levi could see a slight smile on the woman. She snapped out of her head. More important work was to be done than to flirt with such a stud. Pulling her hand away, she looked at Levi. “Not now, later.”

Levi didn’t stop; he grabbed her hand again and gave it a small peck. “Just give me five minutes; after that, do whatever you want. Stab my soul with that beautiful gaze of yours, just for five minutes.”

The girl blushed, and Levi cringed within. His handsome looks were definitely working in his favour; otherwise, such lines would mean no maiden for the rest of his life.

The woman had a mission, but maybe five minutes wouldn’t cause any trouble. She nodded, and Levi pulled her into another alley. He pushed her into the wall moved his hands across her face and caressed her eyebrows.

The girl felt her body vibrate. She wanted more, and seeing Levi move his lips to her ears made her knees weak.

“You really know your way around a woman.” The woman said as she put both her hands up Levi’s shirt.

Levi let out a small laugh that made the woman blush even harder. In a seductive voice, he whispered,

“I don’t know my way around a woman, but I do know how to handle a Majin.”
