CHAPTER 30: New Headache

CHAPTER 30: New Headache

"That really was...tiring. I can't even catch my breath. "

Noel and Clone Noel said as they wiped the sweat off their forehead. The shop got so busy that, the original Noel had to assist.

Levi closed the shop and put out a sign saying "Out Of Stock".

"How much did we earn?"

"A lot"

Noel said as his clone returned back to his body.

He then took out a sheet where he wrote their earnings.

"So the minimum we sold for a single cloth was five Dale and the maximum was twenty. In total, we managed to get 3000 Dale in sales."

And, they did that in an hour.

Levi nodded his head in satisfaction. If only they had more products to sell.

"You take your share and keep mine as well. Use it to increase the shop's space or hire someone to help you."

Noel didn't understand why Levi trusted him so much. They were just stranger one week ago.

"Why do you believe that I won't use your money?"

"I know you won't."

Noel smirked hearing that.

"I don't need to hire anyone but that tailor's of yours might need some help. We need to increase our production rate, if we want more profit."

Levi thought about it. Tyson had the Hundred Hands skill but with sales like this, he will need some help.

'I solve one problem and another arises immediately.'

Noel noticed Levi's predicament.

"We need to give the tailor's his share. I will go and visit him next morning. I can discuss some things with him. Knowing how he has been treated, he won't be welcoming but I can try nonetheless. "

"Let's do that. My school starts tomorrow so I need to bring enough materials that will last you for a while."

Levi headed to his room and started producing the silk. This time he managed to five thousand meters of silk. The work was tiring so he immediately headed off to bed.

The next morning, Noel took the silk and headed to Tyson's place and Levi headed back to the academy.

Once he entered the academy, Levi could smell the aroma of food flying through the air. He looked to his left and saw a newly built cafeteria. The noise of students talking, the smell of freshly cut grass and the sensation of mana prickled his nose. And, as usual, there were a lot of stares at him.

'At least, not all of them hate me now.'

Some were charmed by him and some still hated him. Not that he cared.

"Did anything happen during my absence?"

"No, not to my knowledge."

Levi didn't consider Gabriel his 'friend'. He did make friends in his previous life but he never felt friendship. He knew what it was and acted on that basis.

Gabriel on the other hand felt different. For the first time, in his life, he felt, now he had a friend. Most approached him cause of his status and some avoided him because of his lack of strength.

This book is hosted on another platform. Read the official version and support the author's work.

His family didn't recognise his presence…. that's what he thought.

'We aren't friends YET but at least I have someone to talk to.'

Both got into the class a sat at the back. The class was the same as usual. The same people and the same old games they would throw at him, except for one.

"Levi"

A boy with brown hair shouted as he approached the back seat.

'This guy…..Does he not know about unnecessary attention?'

Harper approached the back seat and smiled.

"And Gabriel too."

Gabriel gave an awkward smile and didn't say anything.

"Are you fine now, Levi?"

'What does he mean by fine?'

Levi made a confused expression.

"Fine? "

Harper then pointed at Levi's hand.

"I saw some burns on your skin. I thought you took a leave to recover from those."

'This guy...I made sure to cover them with my clothes.'

Gabriel didn't say anything cause he knew how Levi got those.

Levi felt another gaze coming from the front. He ignored it.

"I think you saw something else."

Levi then rolled up his sleeves.

"See."

Harper scratched in confusion cause those scars couldn't be easily healed.

'I swear, I saw some burns on his hand.'

"I must have seen wrong. Take care then."

Irene and Gabriel knew Harper hadn't seen the wrong

Levi gave a small smile and nodded. His mana cultivation and [Essence] helped him to quikcly recover from those burns and scars.

Harper then headed to his desk scratching his head. He knew he hadn't seen wrong.

'I shouldn't overthink about it.'

Everybody could hear the conversation between Harper and Levi, mostly Harper and his loud mouth. The atmosphere in the class was tense because of this. Seeing a commoner talk to a noble so casually and sit next to a noble surprised them. Even Rose, who didn't pay any attention was fascinated seeing this. Her blue eyes glittered in excitement.

'I know for one fact, that boy is in for a rough ride.'

. As she was thinking a group of four girls approached Levi. Each had a smug on their face, except one. She looked as if she was walking to her death.

Levi knew what was about to happen when he noticed a pink-haired girl with some bruises around her hand. Those were the same bruises he had when the previous him coped up with bullying. The pink-haired girl made eye contact with Levi. He could somehow know what her eyes were telling.

'Sorry.'

Levi then looked at the three girls ahead of him.

One of those girls had grey hair and black eyes. She would have been the most beautiful girl in the academy if not for the main female characters and the girl she bullied.

The two next to her were average in looks. They were the definition of yes-women.

She reached out her hand and poked Levi's forehead. She slowly moved her hand to his scar and rubbed it. Gabriel was about to move but Levi hit his leg.

'Don't move.'

That is what he was saying.

The girl then spoke in a seducing voice.

"You should have cut your hair a long time ago. I didn't know such a beautiful face was hidden behind that hair."

Levi stayed calm and listened to her. The girl looked into his eyes and felt electricity run through her body.

'AHHHH….He is so my type.'

"That scar of yours…..I like it. It looks good on you."

The more she looked, the more she became obsessed with him. She didn't care if the whole class was looking. Why? cause this was a common occurrence. A noble liking a commoner and forcing them was normal and she was from a high-class family even among the nobles.

She moved her hand across Levi's head and moved it to his lips.

"Lick it."

Most in the class were enjoying it. Mainly, Eliza and Rose.

Levi looked at the clock at the front.

'Still five minutes for the class to start.'

He was waiting for Fiona to save him but his luck proved showed him the middle finger.

Levi stood up. The girl's height reached up to his chest. He smacked her hand and gave her a scornful look.

Everyone in the class couldn't believe what they had just seen. But, they knew one thing, it was about to go down.

"Are you out of your fu*king mind?"

The silver-haired girl grabbed his neck.

"Do you know who I am? I am the precious daughter of the Docherty family, Lia Docherty."

She stated her position to scare Levi. His actions enraged her. Though some part of her enjoyed it. She was down bad.

Levi still refused to say anything. He smacked her hand again.

Lia was embarrassed and angry. She had lost her mind.

'He dare smack my hand and two times at that.'

Lia gathered mana in his hand and threw a punch straight at Levi's face. But, unlike everybody who had the punch to connect, Levi dodged the punch. Levi then hit her leg with his own and Lia dropped down on her knees.

'I will kill this guy.'

She tried to attack again, but something heavy and ominous took over her body.

'What is happening to me? Why is my body shaking this much?'

She looked at Levi and regretted it.

She could see a big red colour eye with dilated pupils stared right through her soul.

'What is that monster?'

She knew she had messed up.

Levi moved his hand and touched her forehead then looked at the two girls behind her shimmering.

"Her body feels hot. She must be suffering from fever. You need to take her to the infirmary."

The two girls picked Lia immediately and ran outside the classroom.

'What just happened?'

The whole classroom had the same thought. They expected a massacre and got something even better to gossip about.

Levi looked at the pink-haired girl and mouthed to her.

"Go back"

The girl rushed to her seat and sat in the far corner on the other side of the room, all alone.

Soon after that Fiona entered the room. She noticed that the class was quieter than usual.

'Did I miss something?'
