Seiko ran away and hid behind a shelf. His plan to annoy Irene worked, but he didn't expect her to throw a book at him. He wasn't angry, just unsure of how to react.
As he flipped through the book, a bright light emanated from its pages as he neared the end. Although it wasn't bright enough to attract attention, the light caused Seiko's eyes to sting slightly. He quickly checked his status and discovered that a new skill had been added to his collection.

--->Consumes three units of mana for every second of use. Lets you know the location of everything within the range of fifty meters from your body.
]
The skill was quite useful, but it required a significant amount of mana. However, if the user were to increase their mana and rank, it would greatly benefit them. Unlike ranks, skills did not have a rank of their own. Therefore, even if an S-rank user possessed this skill, its ability range would likely only be a fraction of what it could be.
Seiko put the book back in its place and went back to his dorm. Once he reached his dorm, he cultivated for one hour more and decided to sleep.
******
*Huff* *Huff*
Seiko/Levi was now on the floor panting. He woke up at six and tried to do some pushups but his body failed him after doing thirty pushups. [Essence] was also the main reason he got to that number.
'I just need to be consistent and have patience. Haste only makes waste.'
He then took a shower had lunch and changed his dress. He was wearing the academy's uniform. White shirt, black tie with the logo of a sword surrounded by dragons, and black pants. He topped off the shirt with a black sweater.
The Academy would start from 9 am so he needed to get there within thirty minutes. He got out of his dorm, locked the door, and walked.
The Academy was only ten minutes away from his room. As he was walking, he noticed some gazes directed at him.
"Looks that's the infamous 'freak'."
"Why does he have such long bangs?"
"He has such a huge scar on his left eye.
There is a rumor that he made that scar himself to make him look cool."
Seiko could hear them but he did not 'feel' anything however his body was trembling because it remembered what it had been going through. His bangs didn't cover his whole face and a bit of scar could still be seen even though it was hidden.
Seiko finally reached his class and looked at the section of the class,
[ First Year- Class A9]
'Who would have thought that one day I would be inside a game and share a classroom with some of the important characters in this world.'
"Hey! Move"
Seiko heard a voice from behind. He was about to move but that person intentionally pushed Seiko and went inside. As he was walking he said something in a low tone.
"Freak"
He then took a seat....alone.
Seiko recognized the person. A boy with white hair and golden eyes. His face resembled that of a mafia boss and his attitude was also the same. The boy hailed from a noble family famous for their sword arts. The heir of the Soron family, Blake Soron.
Seiko did not 'mind' his behavior. He lowered his head and walked to the last seat in the corner....a.k.a the loner seat. He then looked at the front and noticed some other students entering as well.
A tall boy with a bulky build, brown hair, and brown eyes looked at Seiko and did a sign that indicated slicing the neck.
'He must be the bully.'
There were two people around the guy and they also did the same.

Seiko acted as if he was scared and looked away from them and again looked at the entrance. Three people entered the room and the whole class looked at them. Charm was oozing out of their body. Everybody was mesmerized by their beauty and aura.
One of them was the girl who threw a book at Seiko, Irene Toxotai. The heir of the best guild, Hydra's Den, and one of the best archers of her generation and in the upcoming future.
Next to her was a girl with fire-like hair and crimson ruby embedded in her eyes. The smile on her face as she was talking instantly melted everyone's heart. The hairpin on her head had the logo of a lion and its mane looked like fire. Her sword art in combination with her fire magic earned her the nickname "The Lion's Mane"....which she did not like. The girl was the second born in the Lionheart family, Eliza Lionheart.
Irene and Eliza were both beautiful, but the girl standing between them was on another level. She possessed an SS rank charm that no one else in the game could match. Her blonde hair glimmered in the light, outshining even the brightest stars. Her piercing crimson eyes had a mesmerizing effect on anyone who looked at her. Although her body was undoubtedly stunning, men knew better than to let their impure thoughts show. The girl they were admiring was none other than the princess of the human kingdom, Rose Laikros.
Even in the game 90% of people would often choose her as their waifu. She was so pretty that even Blake who usually avoided talking to her otherwise he also could fall in love with her beauty.
As they were walking they the third-row seat. Before Irene sat, she noticed Seiko. She made a disgusted face and then sat down.
"What happened Irene?"
Rose asked her as she also looked back.
"Nothing. It's just some people are sore in the eyes."
She said in a loud voice so everybody could hear and everyone in the class thought who she was talking about.
*Clank* *Clank* *Clank*
The sound of heels hitting the floor echoed throughout the classroom. A woman with green hair and green eyes entered the room. As soon as she entered, the noise in the classroom completely stopped. She stood at the auditorium at put her books on the table. She had a fierce gaze and the charm of a mature woman made it hard for anyone to make eye contact with her for more than five seconds.
She became an S rank awakener at the age of just 25. Her sword arts were even more fierce than her beauty. Fiona Dexer was not a person to be messed around with and when she is your teacher, you do not want to be on their blacklist.
"Good morning students. Now take our your notes and let's begin the class after I take your attendance."
"Rank #1000 Levi"
She started with the lowest-ranking person in the room but the individual did not answer. Seiko had heard her but he forgot that he was now Levi.
"Rank #1000 Levi."
She again called his name in a loud tone. Seiko remembered he was Levi so he hurriedly answered.
" Present."
Fiona then stared at Seiko as if he was going to kill him.
" Did you leave your ears behind your home?"
She humiliated Seiko.
"Pftt"
His classmates started laughing. He was looked down on by everybody.
'So his name is Levi.'
Irene said to herself.
Fiona then started talking attendance of everybody.
" Rank #990 Gabriel Dexer."
The person Gabriel did not answer so Fiona moved.
" Rank #50 Jack Payson."
" Present."
....
....
....
"Rank 8 :"Rose Laikros."
"Present"
"Rank #5: Harper Yarbrough"
....
"Rank #4: Irene Toxotai"
"Present"
"Rank #3: Eliza Lionheart"
"Present."
"Rank #2: Blake Soron."
"Present"
"Rank #1: Flynn Dracon.
.....
The rank 1 did not answer and Fiona again called his name but there was no answer. She closed the attendance book and was ready to say something when the classroom door opened and two boys were at the door.
Seiko turned his head and looked at those two.
'Both of them are exactly how I imagined them to be.'
One of the boys was ranked 5, Harper Yarbrough. He was from the family of a prestigious knight. His green eyes reflected the chivalry inside his soul and his dark chestnut hair was ruffled, probably because he rushed to get here.
In front of him was the first character you acquired when playing 'Trial of Heroes'. His blue hair and blue eyes symbolized his power to control the sky. He was always the strongest among the ten heroes. The one who would always get the last hit on the final boss. The heir of the only Archduke family in the entire human kingdom, Flynn Dracon.
" Can we get inside, teacher?"
Harper asked in an apologetic tone. He was never late to any of his classes but for the first time, he was late.
"No!"
It was a quick rejection from Fiona. She then closed the door right in their face and continued teaching.
'-2 merit points for both of them.'
Fiona said to herself and started teaching. Today she was talking about using mana to strengthen their body. As she was teaching, her gaze fell on one person sitting at the back of the classroom.
'He still is not paying any attention.'
She was referring to Seiko. For the past month, she had noticed that he was never focused on class and would always sleep. She thought of him as "worthless" and did not even try to fix his behavior.
'Why even join the academy if you are going to waste your time?'
Seiko was fully focused on Fiona, but his hair kept getting in the way and causing her to misinterpret his actions. He was even taking notes, but Fiona thought he was just goofing off and became angry.
'I didn't reprimand him, but I've had enough. I'll address the issue with him later.'
