"Wait for me at the cafeteria. I forgot to give my assignments to the Professor."
"Hurry up, otherwise, Eliza might gobble your food."
"Shut up."
Irene then headed to Fiona's quarters with her assignments. She was near the door but another person entered the room. Irene waited right outside the door. She could hear the conversation happening inside.
"Mr Mark, you look quite healthy now."
"God has finally blessed us, Professor."
Dave then handed some papers to Fiona and another notebook.
"What is this notebook for?"
"Oh. It's from one of your students, the miracle I was talking about. One of your studetns, Levi."
'Huh?'
Fiona and Irene had the same reaction.
"Levi?"
Fiona questioned how Mark knew him.
"Yeah! He started working for the management department yesterday and in just two days, he has changed our whole office. It might sound ridiculous but it's the truth. He really is a talented kid. We hired him just cause we needed someone to lessen the workload but he blew past our expectations. Just yesterday, he finished one week of work in four hours. He came early today and managed to finish three days of work in three hours. After that, he asked the boss for leave for three days and the boss happily gave it to him. When he left, he asked me to take his assignments to your office."
Mark was there to provide Fiona with the list of items she had ordered for her classes with their prices.
"Oh…did he tell you why he took the leave?"
Mark asked Fiona.
"No. He just left an application at the teacher's office."
" I see. He is really a hardworking kid but sometimes I wonder if he really takes care of himself. I saw him having difficulty moving his body and applying some ointments to the burn of his arms.He probably got it from training. I hope he's fine. Well, I will get going now."
Irene moved away from the door as Mark left.
'Don't think about him, Irene. He is just a stranger to you now, yes just a stranger.'

"They really need to make a good map. How do I even interpret these weird drawings?"
Levi said as he looked at the map he held. Right now, he was in the city of merchants, Theon. He was mainly here for one reason and that was to get a new power that was inside a small forest in this city. Right now, Levi was outside a giant building behind him. It was the headquarters of the Hydra's Den.
This world had teleportation gates everywhere, thus there wasn't a need for planes. He could also ride a steam train but it would take him a day to get to this city compared to using a gate and getting to his destination in 10 seconds. Though it did cost him ten thousand Dale.
Levi tried to find out where the forest was but the map looked like a child's drawing. After 30 minutes of staring at the map, he got a vague idea of where the forest was. He started walking and noticed tall, intricate buildings surrounding him. This was the second city he had been in this world and it definitely left an impact on him right away.

There were a lot of people compared to the city of Hiillca. Elves, dwarves and beastmen roamed around the city. Again after one hour of walking, getting lost, and asking people for directions, he finally found the forest. The forest was considered small because it was being compared to the other big forests. This forest covered 4.1 million acres of land. It was in the outer part of the city and was flat on the surface. That is why Levi couldn't see it cause of the tall buildings. Outside the forest, thousands of magi items were placed to keep the mana beasts from entering the city.
That also meant he wouldn't be able to enter the forest easily. He had bought an item when he entered the forest.

Levi bought the item from 'Ye Olde Shop.' Though the item was labelled as a "stinky purple potion." because Levi's status window could appraise the item, he bought it for only 100 Dale. He bought two others how could he return without getting caught.
Levi also bought a spatial ring for storage, mana potion, smoke bombs and health potions. He now had only 12000 Dale left.
He waited for the door to open and behind a bush. As soon as the gate opened for a group of people exiting, Levi chucked down the potion and ran at his full speed. [Essence] boosted his agility by 80% and right now he was faster than a B-rank awakener.
Levi entered the forest without getting caught but he kept on running until the potion ran out.
Once the potion ran out, Levi stopped in his tracks. The cramps on his legs were so severe that he stumbled on the ground. He started puking everything he had eaten before even some blood. His world was spinning, it felt as if someone constantly hitting his head with a bat.
'I need to get up"

…
'I HAVE TO GET UP.'

Levi's trait came in clutch and the side effects ended in 2 minutes. He got up and scanned the whole area with his Search skill to look out for any monsters. He claimed a tree and sat on one of its branches.
"Out of all the things, I could roll down on. Why did it have to be monster poop?"
His whole body was covered in the monster's shit. He even accidentally got some in his mouth. For the first time, Levi was glad that his taste buds were dead but his smelling ability wasn't.
"I really need to take a bath, if I can."
It stank 100 times more than a sock kept under the bed for a month(not that ANYONE has done that…)
Levi had to be careful, extra careful in this forest. It was an unnamed forest but most awakeners referred to it as the A-rank forest. The mana beasts here were either A-rank or B-rank. Although they weren't bloodthirsty like mobs with only mana core inside them, one still should be careful otherwise, they would be gobbled up or torn alive.
Levi then took out a small pendant that hung on the silk her created through his new power. (He created it from his hands and not another part that some of you are thinking. That would just be an explicit version of Sp**er Man.)
He poured his mana into the pendant and whispered.
"Flames of Ifrit."
The mask expanded and Levi wore it. Right now, this mask served him no other purpose other than just a regular disguise. The mask could manipulate fire but Levi didn't know any fire magic.
Levi used his Hunter Eyes and Search skills simultaneously to navigate through the forest. The power he was going for didn't belong to any of the main characters but a villain. Stealing from the ten heroes would make them weaker but talking from the villains would indirectly benefit the heroes.
'There will definitely be some butterfly effect but now that I have transmigrated, every action I take will have an effect on the plot.'
As he was jumping on the trees like a professional acrobat, he heard a scream and the roar of a beast.
'Should I ignore it but what if it is an important person?'
He headed to where the noise was coming from and in front of him were four A-rank mana beasts called Liontaur, they had the head of a lion and the body of a horse but their claws were sharp enough to cut a boulder a slice of butter. Each of those was six meters tall and surrounded a man who looked to be in his twenties. Purple eyes and purple hair with a bulk build. He wore a white t-shirt now torn and blue pants. His sword and armour were on the floor broken from the battle.
Levi recognised that person. After all, he was the guy from whom Levi is going to steal the title. The main antagonist of the first arc is the demon with a thousand eyes.
