As the others prepared for what was coming, Moxie and Snow leaped high onto a cliff, overlooking the approaching storm. They could all sense the malevolent pressure filling the air. Even Moxie, with his usual confidence, was sweating. Deep down, he knew that this fight wasn’t one they could win easily.
Down below, Xero and Auforus were bracing themselves. Auforus, ever the strategist, readied his sniper rifle, aiming toward the source of the pressure. But just as he steadied his scope, a pink smoke suddenly enveloped him. Before he could react, Xero dashed forward, grabbing him and safely landing them both on the ground.
Auforus blinked in shock, looking at the smoke as it transformed into fire. The heat singed his skin, and he realized how close he had come to being incinerated. "What the hell..." he muttered, but the moment of confusion was short-lived. Without warning, another attack came—this time a spray of acidic mist.
Auforus and Xero barely had time to react before the figures of *Lust* and *Gluttony* materialized before them. The Sins had arrived.
Xero moved in front of Auforus, her determination masking her fear. “I’ll protect you,” she yelled, but deep down, she knew how hopeless the situation was. She didn’t stand a chance against enemies like this.

The battle erupted in chaos. Auforus fired his sniper at the approaching enemies, but both Lust and Gluttony moved with such speed that it was impossible to land a hit. They were faster than even Moxie. Auforus barely dodged their attacks, but Xero wasn’t so lucky.
He heard the sickening sound of her spine cracking.
“Xero!” Auforus’s voice was filled with panic as he turned to see her crumpled on the ground. His eyes widened in horror, but there was no time to process what had happened. Lust was already behind him, her hand glowing with an eerie light. Auforus twisted to evade, but not quickly enough. The attack grazed the side of his face and shoulder, leaving a searing burn.
Lust leaned over him, her voice dripping with malice. “Weak,” she whispered, her hand reaching out to touch him again. Her very presence exuded an overpowering aura of desire and destruction. "You are nothing compared to us."
Before Auforus could respond, his vision blurred, and he collapsed, unconscious from the overwhelming pressure.
Meanwhile, Xero, struggling to stand, saw Gluttony approaching. Summoning what little strength she had left, she attacked from behind, hoping to buy some time. But her strike barely scratched him. Gluttony turned toward her, unbothered, his massive frame casting a shadow over her weakened body.
Xero staggered backward, coughing up blood, her body barely holding together from the damage of her broken spine. She knew she couldn’t win. The realization hit her hard—this wasn’t just a battle; it was annihilation. Everything they had prepared for felt like it was slipping through their fingers.
But she wasn’t ready to give up. Gritting her teeth, Xero readied herself for another attack, knowing full well it could be her last stand.
