As morning came, Moxie woke up and noticed a figure nearby, Auforus, casually sipping coffee while watching over him. With a swift move, Moxie was by Auforus’ side, kneeling to meet his height. "Why are you up so late?" Moxie asked, his voice calm but with a hint of annoyance. Auforus, without much emotion, simply replied, “Rise and shine.”
Moxie clenched his jaw but decided not to press further. “Is there a library nearby? I’d like to read,” Moxie asked, trying to shift the conversation. Auforus nodded, calling for Xero and Snow to guide him. Moments later, the two sisters appeared, walking alongside Moxie. In his mind, they seemed more like siblings than friends.
When they arrived at the library, Xero and Snow sat back, watching as Moxie stacked a mountain of books. “What are you even doing?” Xero finally asked, a little curious. Moxie ignored them, flipping through one book after another at an alarming pace.

For hours, Moxie repeated this, skimming through dozens of books while the sisters occupied themselves. They snacked, played a board game that Snow won, read their own books, and even took a nap. Finally, Moxie stood up, finished with his reading. Xero shot him a confused look, “What was all that about?” Moxie’s response was just a quiet stare before he said, “Let’s go.”
Still dumbfounded, the sisters followed him back home. Upon their return, they recounted Moxie’s strange behavior to Auforus and Afuwafus. But before they could finish their story, something caught their attention—light, faintly glowing from the ground. Moxie was testing his abilities, his body shifting into a form more like his past self. However, his face began leaking a strange black liquid.
Ignoring the others' stares, Moxie wiped away the liquid, but a smile crept across his face as he gazed at the darkening sky. “I want a rematch with Insanity,” he muttered, followed by a sinister laugh. The others stood silently, neither surprised nor confused, as if they had expected such a declaration.
