CHAPTER 336 CALLA LILIES WERE POISONOUS
There were more than one mischief. Alan Hoyle was so angry that he wanted to devour him.
“Dave Chou.” Alan Hoyle gritted his teeth.
“Oh, you mean the snake today.” Dave Chou said and smiled, “It’s a non-poisonous cauliflower snake. Don’t worry, Sir. Your daughter is beyond your imagination. She’s the bravest girl I have ever seen. I like her. She’s just as cunning as her male friends.”
“I don’t care if it’s poisonous, Dave Chou. I warn you, if you dare to encourage my daughter to play such dangerous thing again, I will end you.” if it wasn’t for making her daughter a strong girl, Alan Hoyle was not willing to let Annie learn any mischief from this man.
“Oh, I’m scared. Will you fancy a drink at waittingbar tonight?” Dave Chou asked informally. He was deliberately teasing him. Content © copyrighted by .
“What time?” Alan Hoyle snorted coldly.
“If you can’t make it today, I’ll see you tomorrow at nine. I’m looking forward to it~” Dave Chou raised his tone teasingly. Alan Hoyle immediately hung up the phone.
In the car, on the way home, an education class was conducted. Alan Hoyle and Olive Steele took turns in lecturing Annie. The little girl dropped her head. Her lips were tightly sipped, “I’ll tell grandpa and grandma that both of you bully me today…”
The little girl was calling for reinforcement. Alan Hoyle pinched her ear, “What are you talking about? If they know you did such thing, you will scare them so much that they have to be hospitalized. Do you want to do that?”
Annie thought for a while and said, “Well, I shouldn’t have told you about this.”
Chloe Malan’s feet hadn’t recovered yet. She still vaguely hurt when she walked, but it was not as obvious as before. She had returned to waittingbar to sing. It was her playground where she could freely be herself, the bar. Sometimes, she wondered how she turned herself into a pathetic housewife before. She was either enduring her mother-in-law’s nagging every single day or keeping the lamp on at night, waiting for her husband to come back, though he probably wouldn’t.
She swore she would never let herself live like that again.
During days off, her bandmate would come visit her to keep her mind off worries, so that she would recover well.
When they got to know each other very well, sometimes, they joke went too far. If she hadn’t been weak, she’d give the boys a good beating.
She didn’t have much thing to do during her day off. The most productive thing she did was writing some random songs. It was her first attempt. She felt like she didn’t get the hang of it. However, later, Summer picked up the pieces she wrote and scored some tunes in. after the band practiced the songs several times, it came out good. Finally, they decided to put the songs in their first album.
Yes. They were preparing for their first album. Nowadays, more and more people visited waittingbar. Even some TV stations wanted to give them programs. However, they refused this opportunities. They thought the host was beautiful, but all she did was acting cute and talking big. The host didn’t really understand the soul of their music.
If they were to make an on-air program, they thought that they would pick a reliable program. They didn’t want to be famous either. They simply loved music, sang their favorite songs, and recorded their young voices into albums.
Ivy Aldington once said, if there was a better stage, he wouldn’t stay.
But, waittingbar was their base, they didn’t want to leave. Nowadays, the entertainment industry was too complicated. Gossips and scandals were happening every day. Only by making a great contribution could they not be forgotten. It made people impetuous. Sometimes, it was a blessing to sing peacefully and drink with three of five friends. They didn’t have to walk down the street with their bodyguards, or wearing sunglasses on rainy days as if they were hiding something. They didn’t have to chase by irrational fans and paparazzi who were busy digging their materials.
Fame equaled losing their freedom.
Artists’ soul needed to fly high up to the sky. How could it be imprisoned by fame?
The waittingbar’s business was getting better and better, especially on weekends, it was almost crowded. There served not only wonderful songs, but also top bartenders with their new varieties of drinks. In fact, Ivy Aldington himself was a perfect bartender, but only a few people around him knew it.
Chloe Malan once jokingly said, “Ivy, how about expanding the waittingbar? Celine Dion sang in Caesars Hotel, Las Vegas for three years. Every Friday, she would sing A New Day. I know we can’t compare our fame with the queen, but we have a loyal customer base in Luo City, no? I think we can do it too. You sell water, I sell song.”
Ivy Aldington laughed, “That’s a good idea. When the album come out, you can sell it in the bar.”
So, he bought two bars next to them a year later. He prepared to merge three bars into one. He found someone to specially design the interior, including the stage, lighting, and bar.
