CHAPTER 252: NEIGHBOR UPSTAIRS
This guy, he always deliberately misunderstood what she said. Chloe glared at him, got into the car and slammed the car door shut, as she's out of luck that she should know such a lunatic as he as.
Aoba whistled all the way, looking cheerful.
Chloe said angrily. "Stop whistling, as it sounds like noise, and don't you think it's awful?"
"Don't you specialize in music, old maid? You really don't know how to appreciate music."
"Sorry, I really don't appreciate music at the same level as Master Yang." Chloe shot back his words coldly. This guy, when he coaxed her, he said she was still very young, but when he deliberately made her angry, he called her "old maid" all night, which made her want to beat him.
However, Chloe restrained herself in order to prevent herself from falling into his trap, for she didn't know what he was plotting against her in his heart.
Aoba said with a smile. "I don't think of myself as a Master because I'm just a regular guy who likes to draw, but if you don't change your bad temper, you risk going into early menopause, like an old woman."
What he said sounded really poisonous, as Chloe wanted to throw him out of the car. "It doesn't matter to you whether I am an old maid or whether I am an old woman."
Aoba turned his head, looking at Chloe, while her side face looked as cold as ice. "You ate gunpowder? Didn't you just run into your ex-husband? It makes you look terrible all night, and if women worry too much, they get wrinkles on their faces very quickly."
"It's none of your business." NôvelD(ram)a.ôrg owns this content.
"It's sad that a good heart is taken for a bad heart." Aoba pretended to sigh.
The tone of his voice made Chloe sick, so she smiled coldly, and her words sounded merciless. “Do you have a good heart? I'm afraid you are a Greek gift for me”
The two of them bickered all the way to the gate of the Ju Yuan community. Before the driver could stop the car, Chloe jumped out of the car and rushed straight ahead without looking back, because she felt that if she stayed with this guy one second longer, she would lose a year of her life.
Aoba called after her. "Well, you should at least say goodbye to me."
Late at night, the empty community echoed her words, as she said, gritting her teeth. "Farewell forever."
Out of sight, out of mind, but this was obviously just her wish.
As soon as she got into the elevator, before she could turn around, she felt that someone suddenly enter the elevator too. When she turned around, seeing the face of the person, she stepped back, staring at him. "What are you doing here?"
It's the middle of the night, so would he want to follow her into her room? Luckily, she didn't live alone, so she thought he wouldn't dare do anything bad to her.
Aoba approached her with a cheeky smile. "Old maid, you're not the only one in this neighborhood."
"You're just talking nonsense." She said angrily.
"This isn't your elevator, is it?"
"What do you mean?" As the elevator door closed, she felt trapped. She looked like a hedgehog with sharp thorns on her body, so if this guy dared flirt with her again, she would learn Olive's cruel way, as she was ready to cripple him with her kicks.
"I mean that since you don't own the elevator, it's a public resource, so I guess I could use it, too."
Well, he had a point, so she had nothing to say, but in the middle of the night, he suddenly came here to use the elevator, so wasn't he weird? She thought much more. "There's no mental hospital upstairs."
How could Aoba not have understood the irony as she meant he was mad in the middle of the night, but he didn't mind.
"There's no mental hospital upstairs, but I'm living upstairs, while I am very glad to be your neighbor and I shall expect much kindness from you." This bad guy, who looked dangerous just now, was smiling like a good student now. He even held out his hand politely, trying to shake hands with her, as if he was trying to make up with her.
Chloe pushed his hand away. "It is you who are responsible for the noise upstairs these days. Why are you staying here instead of in a suite in a five-star hotel? Are you out of your mind?"
"That's because you taught me, so how can you say I'm out of my mind? You taught me that the cost of a night in a hotel suite is equal to the cost of renting a small apartment for nearly a month, while it was you who taught me to cherish my blessings and to know how to save. So, I admit my mistake and change." Aoba looked serious.
She had known the evil in his innocent face, so she scorned what he said. He would admit his mistake and change? The sun was supposed to rise in the west.
"Luo City is so big, so why do you have to come to live here?"
Aoba said innocently. "I didn't know that before, because it was the agent who found this house for me, so I was happy when I looked at the address. I found that this house was in the same neighborhood as
yours, while I don't know anyone in Luo City except you. I know you very well, so I bought this house. You see, old maid, there is destiny between us."
“Nonsense, there isn't destiny between us.” Her eyelids twitched as she watched the flashing numbers as the elevator rose. She really couldn't compare herself with such a rich man as he, or she would be so angry, since this guy could buy a house just like playing a game, whereas he could buy a house anywhere, so why should he buy a house here? He must have done it on purpose. She glared at him when the elevator door opened. "You can live where you like, as it's your business, but I warn you, don't bother me again."
After she finished speaking, she walked out and her high heels clattered to the ground as she was wearing high heels. She probably took the floor for him to vent her anger. Aoba grinned behind her, touching his nose embarrassedly, since, in all his years, he had never been despised.
By the time she got home, it was quiet in the house as others fell asleep, but she lost sleep for no reason. Lying in bed, she tossed and turned and could not fall asleep. Was she really affected by this bad guy? How could that be? He's not her type.
Besides, when she looked at his face, she was very angry. Were there really two people who looked so much alike? And they're not related in any way?
The more she thought of him, the more strange she felt, while the more suspicious he seemed to her when she remembered that he always seemed to be trying to pry into Olive's affairs with Alan.
If he's the Hoyle's member?
