CHAPTER 320 THAT'S NOT AN EXCUSE.

Alan Hoyle, however, was frowning at the back of the little boy's departure. He was seemingly alone, but not far away, there were several suspicious figures hidden in the crowd, and those people’s eyes never left the little boy.

That boy must come from a huge family because some ordinary kid could never have such an aura.

This whole thing passed quickly, and Annie, being a child at heart, had her attention quickly diverted. Olive Steele didn’t pay much attention to the boy as well, while only Alan Hoyle noticed him.

Later, as they strolled past the air gun range, Annie was intrigued by the colorful balloons.

"Uncle weirdo, I want to play this." The little one had now learned that she would not be denied any request from her father who came into her life late, but Olive the other hand, would not obey her on everything as she asked.

Alan put his daughter down and paid the money as the little princess required.

Olive had brought her daughter here a few times in the past, but most of the time, due to money, she would only allow Annie to play one or two activities, and most of the time, Annie would just watch, so today, Annie really had fun with a money bag following.

Alan Hoyle taught his daughter how to hold a gun and, while Olive Steele stood by and watched them having fun, occasionally hearing balloons pop.

It was a beautiful day.

On the way back, Alan Hoyle asked Annie, "Do you like guns, baby?"

"I do." Annie nestled in Olive's arms like a little sloth.

"Really?" Annie's eyes shone brightly.

Alan smiled and stroked her little head, "Oh, for sure, my little thing."

Olive Steele interjected with a smile, "You'll spoil her."

Alan Hoyle smiled unconcernedly, "You two are my girls. You should be spoiled."

When they got home, Olive's mother was busy in the kitchen, and Chloe Malan was sitting at the table, helping with the celery as well. It was Aoba Hoyle's outfit, however, that made Alan Hoyle surprised. His brother had never cooked himself, despite his love of food, but today he was wearing an apron and holding a spatula.

"Welcome back, my lord." Aoba Hoyle chuckled.

"Am I in the wrong house?" Alan Hoyle joked, “Where’s my brother?”

Olive's mother came out of the kitchen, "Oh, you boys, Aoba's doing a great job."

Aoba wore a smile, glancing sidelong in the direction of Chloe, who didn't have any response, except to a great.

Annie had fallen asleep the way back after all the rock climbing had taken too much out of her, and now she woke up with her eyes wide open and lazily called out on Alan's shoulder, "Grandma."

"Oh dear, my little baby is tired." Olive's mother looked at her little granddaughter and said.

"It’s okay, mom, she had a good day. I'm going to give her a bath first." Olive smiled as she went into Alan's arms to hug Annie.

"Why don't you get some rest, I'll take care of her." Alan was considerate, thinking Olive was tired after an afternoon at the playground.

But Annie's little hand pushed against his face, "I don't want you to help me, men and women are different."

Her words amused everyone.

Alan slapped her on her little butt, "I'm your father."

"That’s not an excuse for taking advantage of a girl," Annie said in all seriousness.

Aoba Hoyle laughed so hard that his stomach twitched. This whole family was so cute, and he was even a little reluctant now to leave.

On the other hand, Alan Hoyle left her to Olive to take care. It was a good thing that a five-year-old girl to develop a sense of gender distinction.

In the bathroom, Annie leaned on the bathtub with her little body perched on the edge, "Mommy, will Uncle weirdo live with us forever?"

"Well, of course, sweetheart." Olive continued to rub shower gel on her.

"Will he suddenly disappear one day," Annie said a little moodily.

Olive Steele understood that although her daughter loved to argue with Alan Hoyle, she liked him in her heart. She was afraid that one day he would suddenly leave her.
