CHAPTER 322 START ALL OVER AGAIN.
But hearing Aoba Hoyle's words, Olive Steele suddenly choked on her throat and nose. The pungent taste in her throat and nose caused violent coughs as tears showed up in her eyes.
Alan Hoyle rushed to hand her a glass of water and stroked Olive's back, "Look out, honey.
Olive Steele's teary eyes kept glancing over between Aoba and Chloe Malan's faces.
Something was going on between these two people, and now she was quite sure about this.
Shortly after dinner, Olive's father returned to the shop and Chloe couldn't wait for Aoba to leave, "Time to go, chop-chop. Leave our house."
"No, I'm staying to accompany my brother," Aoba Hoyle was still trying to find an excuse to stay.
"With a beautiful wife, you really expect me to believe your brother needs some other company? "
Olive laughed and shook her head, then walked silently into the kitchen, thinking the dirty dishes in the sink should be enough to keep her away from the battlefield for a while.
Annie was taken into the bedroom of her grandmother was trying to give Olive and Alan some privacy and space for the recent reunion and the registration today.
Olive's mother couldn't help but smile as she looked at Annie lying in bed.
Her family seemed to be getting happier and happier and everyone was getting more and more hopeful.
She softly hummed a lullaby to Annie's sleep, but the kid suddenly opened her eyes, "Grandma, will uncle Aoba be with aunt Chloe?"
Olive's mother smiled, "Well, do you want them together?"
Annie thought for a moment and nodded her head.
"Why?" Olive's mother looked at her with great interest.
"Because if aunt Chloe marries someone else, she will leave this house, but if she marry uncle Aoba, they can live with us just like today."
A child's thoughts were simple, direct, but true.
"Well, they will take another room, and when you grow up, there will be no room left for you to sleep." Olive’s mother smiled gently.
“It doesn't matter. Uncle weirdo has a big house, and there are many rooms for everyone to sleep in. He wanted to get everyone there but mommy said you wouldn’t get along with the neighbor there.”
Olive's mother never expected that Alan had brought up such a thing, but it was a great relief to her as well. The man was even willing to take everyone over to live with him for Olive, so what was she to worry about.
In the living room, as soon as Aoba left, Chloe went into her own bedroom, but just as she turned to close the door, Alan Hoyle appeared.
Startled, Chloe glared at him and said, "The hell you doing? You scare the shit out of me!"
"We need to talk." Alan Hoyle leaned against the doorframe with a smile on his face.
"Are you drunk or something? Go talk to your woman." Chloe tried to close the door, but he put his foot against it which didn't move a bit.
"Fine, what do you want to talk about? "Chloe could only compromise.
"Aoba. "The expression on Alan's face didn't change.
Hearing the name, Chloe lowered her head and sighed "Mr.Hoyle, can you do me a favor?"
"Yes?" Alan looked at her seriously.
"Please, send your crazy ass brother back to Jiangcheng city, alright?"
Alan Hoyle's mouth twitched, "You don't like him?"
Chloe Malan gave him a blank stare, "Why on earth do you think I should like him?"
"You sure?" Exclusive content © by Nô(v)el/Dr/ama.Org.
"Of course, I'm sure!"
"For real? "Alan looked at her like she was a child who did something wrong.
"What are you trying to say? "Looking at his expression, Chloe frowned a little.
"Do you ever consider another possibility?"
Chloe asked subconsciously, "What?"
"You don't hate him, you're afraid. You're afraid of beginning again. The failing Marriage, the former mother-in-law, the history of Aoba, and our mother. These things scare you. Chloe, I'm not being a psychologist, I just want to tell you that, maybe sometimes, you need the courage to force yourself to start all over again." Alan finished quickly and immediately turned around, leaving Chloe standing there blankly.
Chloe froze. She felt cracks appear in the armor that was wrapped tightly around her heart.
It took several seconds before she finally remembered to close the door.
