       I think I’m going to continue the look of a proper demon. I look over a few of the traits and pick the ones I had my eyes on.

         Wait, wasn’t there pain associated with this? Just as the thought passed through my mind, it hit me. I could feel my own Mana actually flow from my chest to my back and arms. With the searing pain rushing through my veins, it felt as my own blood had turned into molten lava. I doubled over in agony.

            Gritting my teeth so hard I felt as though they would break, I had bent down on to both of my knees. The pain then doubled as the area it affected condensed. I had heard a monstrous roar that I later realized was my own voice, “AAAAAARRRRRGGGGGGG!!! AAAHHHH!! GAAAAHHH!!!” I could feel the flesh peel away around my fingertips as talons ripped through. On my back I could feel the excruciating pain of bones rearranging, splitting and growing. I heard the tearing of my cloths as a pair of giant, black wings entered my view.

            The pain in my arms subsided, but the pain in my spine seemed to only get started. Hearing my screams of agony the door banged open with knights charging into the room. The pain had gotten so bad, I could no longer yell out my pain and my vision had gone red. I’m afraid I may have popped some vessels in my eyes. However, I do not care as I feel my spine stretching with the vertebrae forming new bones at the ends. With the completion of the tail I could feel the pain starting to evaporate. I sigh out of relief and proceed to stand up. I feel the Mana start moving back to my chest, then it suddenly shot up to my face and concentrated around my eyes.

            My hand clutches the dresser for support as it feels like someone stabs my brain with a hot rod through my eyes. After falling back down to my knees I cover my eyes with both hands. My eyes they fell like they are melting. Someone please help! My vision cleared up and the pain subsided and faded back to nothing as the Mana went back into my core.

Demon Eyes, Beastly Fangs

       Beastly Fangs? I touch my canines to find a sharp prick on my fingers. My canines were indeed longer. Speaking of fingers, the ends of my fingers had turned into dull, inch long talons. The description said something about being retractable. When I thought about it my fingers turned back to normal.

       Looking around, I could see many frightened faces of soldiers and a very worried king. Seeing that I was alright, Father just smiled being so relieved. It was then he said, “So it’s true that you beat a Cave Pool Dragon. It seems you have acquired enough power to obtain all those traits in such a short time; your story can only be true. That’s my son for you!” he declared loudly.

       I snuck a look at the mirror to see something unexpected. I looked like a fallen angel on Earth. Inspecting further, I could see I developed red irises, so it looked really evil in a field of black. I had massive black feathered wings that were bigger than my own father’s. Also I felt another sensation in my pants, the sensation then was met with curiosity. I reached in the back of my pants and pull out a tail. It was the size of my arm in length and two inches in diameter.

       It bent and twisted to my will, much like the rest of my body. When my curiosity with my tail was satisfied I moved my attention to my wings. It wasn’t much room for stretching them so I walk over to the window and open it. That was when the girls burst into the room shoving their way past the troops. At that moment I threw myself out the window when they looked me with shocked expressions.

      My room was on the third floor, but the ground was rapidly approaching. I used my skill, Slow Time to slow everything at an extremely slow pace. I quickly open my wings and spread them, with a quick thrust my wings gracefully came down lifting me in the air. Slow Time had ended however I was no longer falling. A few powerful beats of my wings, I was in the sky, soaring like an eagle. I take a quick look at my wing span seeing that it reached about two and a half times my height

Wings… let me tell you had how they differ between the races. Void Demons have black feathery wings; Fire Demons have red leathery bat wings. Water Demons don’t get wings, they instead get fins, Earth Demons get bat like wings much like the Fire Demons. Air Demons have colorful feathery wings much like a parrot some are solid white though.

       I used some of the air currents to keep from using too much energy. I circled the palace a few times before I dive through my window. Landing, I need to work on landing. As it is, I crashed into the wall beside the door. Getting a face full of stone, I stood up rubbing my face. Ok, landing is what comes next. I don’t think my face can take much more of this.
