Many wondered who was stronger between Kodon and Saraya. Both of them were highly respected and going against either of them meant certain death.

Erik knew what with the both of them there, the chances of them winning were extremely low. They tried to escape, but Kodon appeared in front of them.

“I believe you were the root cause of this” said Kodon as he punched with so much force that it compressed the air, and sent the noble vampires flying back. “If you dare to escape, you'll endure immense torture. If you stay, I'll grant you a swift death” said Kodon.

The noble vampires just hid in the shade of some debris, waiting for an opportunity to hopefully escape. Saraya tried to kick Kodon but he blocked it with his arm. The impact sent shockwaves throughout the kingdom of Alzordia. Both of them went for an uppercut at the same time and the impact separated the clouds above them.

“You and I are both strong, but this doesn't mean that we can do whatever we want. You had no right to destroy so much of Alzordia” said Saraya.

She went for a double palm strike but Kodon blocked by grabbing her hands. It became a test of strength with both of them trying to showcase dominance over the other. Energy from their aura increased and the entire sky Island was starting to crumble! Their combined energy was too much.

Saraya noticed this so she hit Kodon with a headbutt, breaking the test of strength. “You're an interesting one. Having power means being able to physically make things happen. Like this!” exclaimed Kodon as he hit Saraya with a headbutt in retaliation, the impact creating a massive crater.

“Letting the weak believe that they can stand against those in power is a joke. As much as a joke as an elf being the ruler of Arvadia. It would have been me if my father, Zarthrak, wasn't so amazed by your skills” said Kodon.

Saraya was enraged and began launching a barrage of strikes at Kodon. Kodon tried to block but was overwhelmed by her speed and agility as spun around him and hit him with a spinning kick to the top of his head.

As blood spilled from the crack in his head, he decided to start using his techniques. Saraya had no choice but to begin using hers if she wanted to survive. Their intensity shook Alzordia, but they were interrupted by Rusalka who had just awoken.

“Enough! The kingdom of Alzordia will be destroyed. We should execute the noble vampires that executed this and return to Arvadia” said Rusalka. Both Saraya and Kodon calmed down and agreed.

Upon noticing that Raylon was unconscious, Kodon was disappointed. Despite Rusalka telling him about what Erik had done, it didn't change how disappointed he was in the both of them.

“Cassius. I have an idea on how to mend your relationship with the kingdoms. After using people from various kingdoms as livestock, you will be published, but after an event called the trials of Veridonia” said Kodon.

“What's that?” asked Cassius. “It's going to be a massive battle royal, with warriors from various kingdoms participating. If Alzordia chooses to help, we'll place a barrier that allows vampires to enter and it will restore some of the honour that you'll have lost” said Kodon.

Cassius agreed. Kodon summoned the meteor dragon. It was a massive dragon that instilled fear in all that saw it. He took Raylon and Rusalka with him as Saraya stayed to help mend the relationship between the two kingdoms.

Princesses Ravenna was extremely upset. She felt that Raylon wouldn't marry her now. “I wouldn't stress too much yet. You should participate in the trials of Veridonia and win his respect back” said Saraya with a smile.

The noble vampires named Erik, Atara, Skully and Taro were imprisoned and held for questioning. “I don't think the boss is going to be happy about this,” said Erik in his cell.

The battle was now over. Cassius restored the barrier, so no sunlight breached the kingdom of Alzordia. They also began rebuilding.

While all of this went on, a mysterious figure watched from the shadows. After that it disappeared into the void. What could this mean?

Upon awakening, Raylon was alerted that he would be competing in the trials of Veridonia. He began training immediately.

Meanwhile in other kingdoms that were participating, they began selecting their strongest warriors. None of the elders were allowed to participate, but that didn't mean that they didn't have any powerful youth members on board.

Two weeks later, the day before the Trials of Veridonia arrived. Representing Arvardia was Raylon, Avawrath and Taya. They meet each other for the first time now as the other participants arrive in Arvardia.
