Narumi tried blasting Kuma with water but he simply slashed it this time and kicked her out of the way. With that coral dragon killed, she no longer was able to use the powers gained from her pact with it. She could not use fire and coral anymore. She could only use her natural water techniques in combination with her martial arts. She bounced off a tree to close the distance between herself and Kuma and tried to face him in close combat.

He used his group 1, Infinite slashes to tear apart everything in the area. She moved back enough to evade it, but it left her open to an attack. He used group 2, Unrelenting slash to close the distance and unleash a high impact slash. Luckily Talia pulled her away by moving the ground. Kuma could not change his trajectory when using Unrelenting slash so his momentum sent him into the lake.

Talia used the water in the lake to trap him in a sphere of water, forcing him to hold his breath. That's when Kuma used group 4, Affinity slash. It allows his sword to adapt to one elemental affinity and be able to cut through attacks of the same affinity and deliver strikes with the affinity. He has to predetermine the strikes first though. Kuma marked his strikes and cut through the sphere of water. He then predetermined a square shaped slash and sent it towards them. They tried to block it with water but it didn't affect it at all!

They moved out of the way, but Kuma predetermined another rectangular water strike. Talia raised the ground and noticed that the strikes weren't able to cut the ground. Even though she figured out the weakness of group 4, Kuma had closed in and used group 1, Unrelenting slash. Talia tried to block by covering herself and Narumi with the ground but the slashes managed to get through it and they both got slashed. They lost an incredible amount of blood.

“You impressed me, but we all know that this fight is over,” said Kuma.

“No. I'm not done yet. It's my turn to protect Talia. No matter how hard you cut me, I'll get back up” replied Narumi and stood defiantly against Kuma.

As many battles continued, a new one began. Raylon had returned to his normal state, but he felt that something was out of place. That's when he saw a blast of blood heading straight for him. He rolled out the way and he saw that it was Jin that did it. Jin tried to hit Raylon with an uppercut but he sidestepped and pushed his hand away. He then went for a strike to Jin's neck but Jin weaved out the way and landed a punch to his stomach.

The impact sent Raylon back but he was still ready to continue going. Jin tried to chop him with both his hands but Raylon caught his hands and that began a test of strength. They both exerted pressure but nobody was more dominant than the other. That's when Raylon pulled him into a knee strike to his stomach. He then extended his leg while holding on to Jin to deal more damage. After that he knocked him away with a headbutt.

“You're good. I knew from the moment that you fought the volcano dude that you were going to be a pain in the ass. Unfortunately for you, I'm better” said Jin.

“You're from Alzordia. Tell me why isn't princess Ravenna here?” asked Raylon.

“I see, you don't know. She was poisoned by a mysterious man that wore a cloak and a mask stabbed her with a divine blade. The tip is so close to her heart that if she moves, it'll pierce her heart. She's currently in a deep slumber” replied Jin.

As Raylon’s facial expression changed to a concerned one, Jin hit him with a lariat.

After that he pulled him into a powerslam that smashed Raylon into the ground. Raylon tried to get up but Jin stitched his shadow to a tree's shadow and he wasn't able to move. After that he hit him with a blood blast at point blank range. The impact severely damaged Raylon but he was still unable to move. As Jin prepared to hit him again, Raylon momentarily summoned the Firefly dragon to hit Jin back and then destroy the tree, altering the shape of its shadow and setting him free.

Raylon was only able to momentarily summon the Firefly dragon but he used that time wisely. It quickly destroyed all objects with a large shadow in the surrounding area. When it disappeared, Jin began altering the shape of his own shadow. The shadow turned into tendrils that swept across the area. Raylon dodged some of them, but the numbers were overwhelming and he got whacked into the ground. Jin used one shadow tendril to pull Raylon into a knee strike and then he hit the back of his head with a hammer fist. He then whipped him away.

“Looks like you're quite the resilient one. This is going to be annoying” said Jin.

“If I win, please tell me more about the situation with princess Ravenna and Alzordia” replied Raylon as he prepared to start using his techniques.

As their battle intensified, Avawrath and Emiru's battle picked things up a notch.

Avawrath’s Ring of fire technique involved erecting a series of volcanoes that surround his opponent and give him a massive advantage in battle. The ground had cracked open and magma oozed out. The volcanoes erupted and began hurling molten hot magma and rock at Emiru.

Both Emiru and Avawrath sent out a punch. Their fists collided and that impact created a crater in the ground that was filled by lava. They both unleashed flurries of offence and the impact rattled the battlefield. A massive rock that was covered in magma was flung towards Emiru but she grabbed it with her bare hands. She covered her hands in dark energy to help cancel out the lava and she smashed Avawrath with the rock.

Avawrath moved the ground apart so that lava would engulf the area. Emiru covered herself in a cloak of dark energy to cancel out the lava and she walked on it! She then punched Avawrath and then pinned him in place by standing on his foot. She then unleashed a barrage of punches that broke Avawrath’s bones. Avawrath saw that her attacks were more wild so he found an opening and grabbed both her hands and then flipped her. He was going for a strike to her neck but she let out a roar that had so much impact that it sent him flying back.

Emiru then headbutted his chest and her horns pierced him in the process. Thereafter she began hitting him with rapid dark energy blasts while he was stuck on her horns. With the damage from each dark energy blast stacking, Avawrath was about to lose consciousness. Luckily the volcanoes were hurling attacks at Emiru repeatedly. Even with her tough skin in demon form, the repeated attacks weakened her enough and once a critical hit was landed, it gave Avawrath an opportunity to escape and kick her back.

“Both of them are impressive. Looks like this is the climax of the battle. Since it was so entertaining I'll give the winner a nice reward” said Azazel as he watched on with a sinister smile.

Avawrath lowered the ground that Emiru was standing on and lava filled it. She managed to escape but Avawrath had erected a volcano from that lowered ground and she was right in it. That's when he popped out of the lava and hit her with a piledriver into the volcano. He then grabbed her and held her as the volcano erupted. They both felt the impact but since Avawrath had resiliency to those affinities he managed to survive even though he was badly damaged. Emiru was knocked out though.

With Emiru eliminated, 11 participants remained. Just as Avawrath undid his Ring of fire technique, Azazel stabbed him from behind with his sword!

“You should watch your back. Looks like your time in the spotlight is over” said Azazel.
