Narumi was still recovering after summoning the coral dragon. Talia decided to protect her and allow her to get some rest. Even though the coral dragon was defeated, only strong participants remained. It was too risky to go out without a plan.
Raylon and Kael exchanged glances for a moment but they were seperated when Tiffany created a living forest. The vines were lashing out at all participants but each of them found their own unique way to counter and continue battling. She created the forest to keep an eye on all the participants and gauge their strength.
Raylon ended up going against Elijah. Raylon sent out a blast of fire but Elijah clapped his hands together and sent out a soundwave that stopped the attack. He then tried to punch Raylon but he blocked the attack. Elijah made his fist vibrate and sent the vibrations to Raylon, rattling his bones. He flinched, allowing Elijah to send out a brutal soundwave that nearly ruptured his eardrums.
As Raylon began bleeding from his ears, Elijah struck him with his knee and then hit the back of his head with an elbow strike. Elijah was going to go for the finishing blow but Raylon sent out a shockwave that temporarily paralysed him. He then punched him in the throat and sent out a fire blast while holding on to his throat. He thought that he had won but Elijah surrounded himself with soundwaves to cancel out the attack.
“You're an interesting one. Unfortunately you're going to lose here” said Elijah. “Why would you say that? We just got started” said Raylon as he got back into his fighting stance.
Raylon then received a barrage of attacks from out of nowhere. He was taking damage, but he couldn't tell from what.
“Sound can be a scary thing, how will you fight when every sound you make or hear henceforth damages you” said Elijah. Raylon inhaled and the effects of Elijah's technique entered his lung and hit him from inside!
As he dropped to one knee from the pain, the sound of him touching the grass damaged him. The sound of the other competitors fighting damaged him as well. He was being hit so aggressively from every angle that he fell to the ground! Is this the end of Raylon?
Meanwhile Kael regrouped with Ragnar as they are both from the kingdom of Sadhala and they looked for a way to exit the forest, but they ended up encountering Atea. Ragnar stepped forward to attack her and activated a rune that teleported himself and Kael into her void.
“Oi! What the bloody hell is going on!” exclaimed Ragnar as he saw that they were in an area of vast empty space.

“This is her void. She has an alternate reality technique. It's similar to a barrier but it takes place in a space that's part of a different reality entirely” replied Kael.
Atea had access to a plethora of weapons. She pulled out Maven's sword of desolation and sent out a slash of energy that shook the void. Ragnar dodged but he was cut by a copy of Kael's sword that attacks on its own. Kael sent his original sword to attack Atea relentlessly but she summoned a shield that blocked the attack. Ragnar thought that she could only use one thing at a time like outside the void but that was incorrect.
He let his guard down when she held the shield, allowing the sword to cut his eye off! Ragnar already had an eye patch on one eye. With this injury he was now blind!
He yelled in pain as Atea spin kicked him back. She was going to stab him with a knife but Kael blocked the attack using his tail and then hit her with a backfist that sent her flying back.
“Your comrade is now blind. You're at a disadvantage here as well. Surrender now or suffer the consequences” said Atea.
“Ragnar, please forgive me. This is because of my pride in seeking the thrill of battle. Henceforth I'll go all out without holding back” said Kael as all nine of his energy based tails emerged.
His aura was incredibly intense. The void was rattled by his mere presence. He ran towards her with such speed that he had already punched her before she could finish blinking. He whacked her with his tails and then spun around in the air and hit her again with it. He then uppercutted her into the air. Thereafter he flew up and brought her down with a piledriver while being cloaked in flames. Her head smashed into the void.
Even though she was burnt by the flames she wriggled her way out of Kael's hold and tried to punt kick him. Kael blocked his tails. He then grabbed her with his tail and threw her into the void. He then picked her up with the tail and smashed her into it violently. She summoned an infinite amount of his sword attacks on its own.
He simply blocked using his tails, but it left Ragnar undefended. Kael combined the affinities of the four elements to create an orb of imaginary mass. He then lifted it up into the air and had it explode. The explosion destroyed all the swords and the forge, preventing any new copies from being made. Kael was able to protect Ragnar from the explosion using his tail.
He had thought that Atea was defeated but she survived by using the shield of faith. It can nullify any attack, but it requires an immense amount of stamina and energy to use it. Kael's technique also destroyed the rune, sending them back into the battlefield. That's when Tiffany appeared but she showed no remorse for her teammate.
Azazel was able to see everything that was going on in the battlefield because of his heightened senses. He could sense their energy with such detail that he could their shape and what emotional state that they were in as well.
“I expected more of them to go out but they are quite the resilient bunch. Kuma, there's a warrior from the kingdom of Aqualia that's unable to fight. She's being protected by somebody, but given their state you should win easily” said Azazel.
Kuma nodded in response after Azazel gave him their location. Azazel continued to monitor the events of what was going on, but he noticed that Emiru was approaching the area that he was in. He didn't want to risk fighting at the moment so he hid. If he saw an opening, he would strike immediately without mercy.
While these events unfolded, Jin found himself battling Megan in the forest. He drop kicked her, but that was just an illusion. She created multiple illusions of herself that surrounded him. He stitched their shadows together and tethered it to a shadow of a tree, preventing them from moving. He then used a blood blast on all of them but they were all illusions.
Megan tackled him from behind and was going to unleash an energy blast at point blank range. Jin rolled through and began striking at her. She grabbed both his arms and pulled him in for s headbutt. The impact sent him back, allowing her palm to strike his chest.
“This is going to be annoying. Come on!” exclaimed Jin as she once again created multiple illusions of herself.
The fierce Trials of Veridonia continue with each participant showing incredible resilience. How long can they hold on?
