Raylon tried to punch Udon, but he grabbed his punch and pulled him onto his shoulders. He then dropped him but Raylon cartwheeled out of the way and then hit Udon with a hook kick.
Udon tried to land a kick of his own but Raylon sidestepped and landed an elbow strike on his face.
“As I thought, his martial arts skills are extraordinary. He could defeat me quite easily, but luckily I have an idea.
This Jin guy should target me as I played a big role in eliminating his teammates.
With him out of the way, Avawrath will target Ragnar” thought Udon.
He knew that Avawrath would not help Raylon because of their earlier encounter. He would also not cooperate with him, causing Raylon to leave the battlefield, increasing their odds of survival for now.
Upon seeing Udon, Jin went straight after him. “I can't let you off easily after you eliminated my teammates,” said Jin.
He tried to punch Udon, but Udon managed to attach strings to his body.
He then controlled his body like a puppet master and swung him around the battlefield, causing him to collide with the environment.
“Your shadow manipulation won't do any good with me controlling you as well” said Udon as suplexed Jin into the ground. The impact rattled Jin, but he still got up defiantly. Udon pulled him in and bounced him off his belly. As he came back down, he uppercutted. The impact broke his jaw but he was able to regenerate.
“You think that you know everything, don't you?. You see, I made a plan to defeat you after I heard you eliminated my teammates” said Jin.
Udon laughed in response. He thought that he was bluffing. Jin stitched his shadow to Udon’s and they both were unable to move.
“What are you going to do? Bore me to death?” asked Udon. “No, but thankfully this time I won't be in the crossfire of this move. Ebon cascade!” yelled Jin.
A dark cloud formed and began showering Udon with drops of shadows. Each drop exploded, devastating Udon. Jin didn't release the technique until he saw that Udon was in critical condition. As Udon fell to the ground and fainted, Jin smiled. He had avenged his teammates.
With Udon eliminated, 16 participants remained.
Avawrath and Raylon were attempting to work together to face Ragnar. Raylon tried to blast him with fire, but he moved out the way and it almost hit Avawrath.
Avawrath blasted Raylon with fire in response and then tried to face Ragnar one on one.
Raylon tripped Avawrath and landed a knee strike to the face of Ragnar. As Ragnar staggered back, he was about to focus his energy into his fist and devastate him, but Avawrath charged in to do it himself. This interrupted Raylon and resulted in Ragnar hitting the both of them with a log he obtained from the ground.
“Watch where you're going!” exclaimed Raylon in annoyance. “You're the one in my way, stay out!” yelled Avawrath as pushed him away.

Raylon walked away and sat on a nearby tree stump. “So you're bloody fighting alone? You blokes really are missing something upstairs” said Ragnar as he saw that Avawrath and Raylon were not working together.
Avawrath sent a chunk of the ground at Ragnar, but he activated his gravitational field. The pressure was so immense that Avawrath was starting to push through the ground. He decided to temporarily summon the Scoria dragon. It blasted Ragnar away but the moment that it disappeared, he activated another gravitational field.
This time, Avawrath had a way out. He had created tunnels in the ground by altering its shape. He then sent fire into the holes and it followed the path of the tunnel, blasting Ragnar.
When Ragnar got up, Avawrath was nowhere in sight. That was when Avawrath erected a volcano and it erupted.
Lava coated the battlefield, but Ragnar altered his weight to make himself fast enough to evade the wave of lava.
He thought that he had escaped, but Avawrath superkicked him as he rose from the ground. He burrowed underneath the ground to land a surprise attack.
Ragnar knew that he had to go all out now, even if it meant destroying the entire sky island!
While things heated up on that side, so did the battle between the participants from the kingdom of Aqualia and Zalphtalia.
Narumi blasted Emiru with water. Talia used the rain to send down another shower of shards of ice. Zatala and Megan were cut badly.
“Zatala and Megan, you guys should go into hiding until the rain dance ends. I'll take it from here” said Emiru.
They were reluctant to leave but they decided to. As they ran into a secluded cave, they believed that they were safe, but Kael appeared behind them.
Megan tried to create an illusion of their position, but illusions didn't affect Kael. He saw right through it and kicked her out of the cave. Zatala transformed into a blood troll and attempted to strike him but he judo flipped her into the ground and then punched her head into the ground.
Megan sent out a blast of energy at Kael, but he blocked using two tails and then hit her stomach with a knee strike. She coughed out blood as the impact sent her flying back. Zatala turned into a massive snake and spat poison at Kael.
He moved out the way and grabbed her tail. He then swung her into the ground, then lifted her back up and smashed her into the ground again. She returned to her normal form and was about to transform again, but Kael grabbed her by the neck and lifted her up.
“I beat the phoenix, even turning into that won't save you. You obviously have nothing else to offer. I'll let you go, just because I have hopes you'll learn the chimera technique” said Kael as he let her go.
Zatala coughed upon being released, but then she asked him what the chimera technique was.
“Turning into a beast is nothing special, but being able to combine the abilities of multiple beasts is something else. It would involve learning how to combine the traits of various beasts” said Kael.
“Aren't you a beast?” asked Zatala as she transformed into a beautiful kitsune. It was very much like a human in appearance, but there was just something so enthralling about the beauty of a kitsune.
“Now you're much more entertaining,” said Kael as he exchanged punches with Zatala. Kael absorbed the impact of her punch well, but she was overwhelmed by his strength and was sent back.
He sent out a blast of fire and she did the same. He then moved the ground apart and sent her falling through it. He also jumped into the crevice in the ground.
Kael kicked her further down. He then sped up to go past her and her back fell into his knee. Thereafter he kicked her back up the crevice and then thumped her back down.
“You have to learn how to fly if you want to stop yourself from falling through the sky island,” said Kael.
Zatala focused on controlling her body and was able to fly. With a burst of speed, she tackled Kael through a towering boulder. He hit her with a headbutt to create distance, and then he slammed her across the battlefield.
“Now then, let's see how much you can grow,” said Kael as he noticed that Zatala was improving.
While that fight continued, Megan made her way back to Emiru's location, only to see that she had endured a lot of damage.
Narumi was about to go for another attack when she noticed that the rain dance slowed down to a light drizzle.
“Looks like your turn is over!” exclaimed Emiru as she created a barrier.
Narumi, Jaiden and Talia were now surrounded by various ghosts and it appeared that the area had changed into a graveyard. Talia was about to calm her teammates down, but suddenly all three of them were cut out of nowhere!
