Udon and Maven's fight continued. Maven tried to slice him with the sword of desolation but Udon dodged and chokeslammed him into the ground. The impact wasn't enough to break Maven's armour, but it gave him time to think.

“He's slow with an impenetrable armour. One hit from his sword will defeat me as well. I'm a bad match, and looking at Ragnar’s opponent, she's a bad match for him as well. It's best that we swap” said Udon as he spent Ragnar flying into Maven.

“Oi, what the bloody hell was that for!” exclaimed Ragnar. “Trust me, we have a better chance of winning this way,” said Udon.

Before Ragnar could respond, Maven hit him with a blood blast and was going to slash him with his sword.

Ragnar jumped into the air to avoid the strike from the sword and activated his gravity field, causing Maven to crash into the ground. The gravitational field was so heavy to the point that Maven was unable to move.

Ragnar punt kicked his head, but it didn't break his armour. He decided to apply even greater pressure with his gravity field. Maven's armour was slowly being crushed.

“Where did you come from? Do you really think you can beat me?” asked Elise. “I already have a plan. You'll be the first one out” replied Udon as he took a sip of his beer.

Elise pulled out a plethora of shurikens and sent them flying at Udon. He focused his energy, and delivered a powerful punch that compressed the air and sent the shurikens flying back. Even though he wasn't able to use magic, he was incredibly strong.

Elise tried to punch him but Udon endured the impact and punched her stomach. She absorbed the impact and was about to send it back at him, but she ended up being hit by a shuriken.

“As I predicted. You can only reflect the impact of one attack at a time. You may be able to choose where the impact is reflected, but you can't protect yourself and attack at the same time” said Udon. “You're more clever than you look. Damn it!” yelled Elise.

Udon had connected a string to one of the shurikens during the battle and sent it towards Elise when she least expected it. She tried to use a blood blast against him but he had also attached strings on her right arm when she tried to attack him earlier. He pulled her into him and landed a lariat that knocked her upside down. She absorbed the impact and was about to return it, but he used the string to change her positioning and hit her with a powerbomb. He then uprooted took a boulder and smashed it in on her head, knocking her out.

“Your technique is useless unless you can send out the impact that you absorbed. It's no good against someone who is able to strategically attack and defend” said Udon.

Since Elise was knocked out, she was teleported to a medical area and Alzordia had only two warriors remaining.

“Interesting, the vampire kingdom of Alzordia is the first to lose a member. King Cassius should spend less time committing treason and more time training the youth” said the king of Aqualia.

King Cassius just remained quiet and accepted the embarrassment. He had brought this upon himself.

Maven was shocked, he realised that he had to go all out in order to save the honour of Alzordia. He removed his armour and was able to sprint out of the gravitational field like a whirlwind.

“So you're finally out of your shell,” said Ragnar. As he was about to activate his technique, Maven kicked him with the heel of his boot, smashing his head into the ground. His speed was incredible.

“Need a hand?” asked Udon as he joined Ragnar. “Nay. You just sit back and watch you bloody bloke” replied Ragnar as he decided that he needed to get serious as well.

Their battle was not the only one that intensified, as so did Jin and Kael’s.

Jin and Kael both punched at the exact same time, causing their fists to collide. Jin's fist broke, but it regenerated fast enough for him to try and land a punch to the side of Kael's head using his other hand. Kael blocked by lifting his arm up. He then swivelled and brought his elbow down, trapping both of Jin's arms.

He then charged forward with a burst of energy and the tip of the elbow pierced Jin's chest and sent him flying back.

“You're no match for me in close quarters as well. I don't think you're going to last much longer” said Kael. “Shut up, this is not over yet” said Jin as he regenerated his damaged chest.

He noticed that Kael's shadow overlapped with the shadow of a nearby tree. He stitched the shadows together, pinning Kael in place. Kael was unable to move, but his sword was.

His sword sliced the tree and altered the shape of the shadow, setting him free, however Jin was already close enough to deliver a fatal blow.

Kael used 3 of his tails to block this time. That's when his sword started viciously targeting Jin with unrelenting slices. Jin tanked the attacks and tried to tackle Kael.

Kael caught both of his arms and flipped him and then drove him into the ground. He then punched through his chest once again, but Jin held onto his arm and stitched their shadows together.

“Now that we both can't move, you and I will have to endure this next attack together. I can regenerate fast enough to endure it. Can you?” asked Jin. A gloomy cloud formed in the sky.

“Ebon cascade” said Jin as the cloud burst and shadow raindrops fell to the ground. Each one exploded. With such a high number of them falling, Kael had no choice but to use his tails to block.

He used 4 but the volley was too focused on the position of him and Jin. He had no choice but to use 5 tails.

As the volley ended, Jin's regeneration speed saved him, but he would not survive a second round.

“You interest me. As promised I'll let you go since I had to use 5 tails. Take it as a token of my appreciation for entertaining me” said Kael.

“You arrogant kitsune. You didn't use any of your techniques did you. It was mostly just your martial arts, defence and swordsmanship” replied Jin. Kael smiled in response as he left Jin.

Kael was somebody that enjoys the thrill of battle. Letting Jin go now felt like a way to guarantee an even more entertaining battle in future. He had defeated the king of Sadhala to earn this opportunity as Sadhala was hostile towards kitsune.

They were hostile to them as the kitsune were a race that had power that could not be controlled. They can take on human form, but they are still foxes. Since they are beasts, the people of Sadhala wanted to form pacts with them, but they disagreed due to Sadhala being a greedy and corrupt kingdom.

Kael's reasons for entering have yet to be revealed, but the real question is, can anybody stop him?

Meanwhile Raylon and Ludwig from the kingdom of Warthral began their battle.

They both focused their energy into their punch and punched each other's stomach. It seemed that Raylon had gained the upper hand, but Ludwig's punch had a double impact and the second impact was twice as strong as the previous one, sending Raylon staggering back.

He then jumped into the air and brought his fist down, but Raylon blocked by raising his arm. That's when that double impact came into play, disorienting Raylon, but he still held on and planned to deliver a counter attack.

Unfortunately, Ludwig sent out a blast of pure energy that Raylon quickly dodged, leaving him vulnerable to a kick to the face from Ludwig.

“Looks like I scored a good hit and we've just begun. Are you sure that you're Kodon’s son?” asked Ludwig. “I am, but above all else, I am Raylon. The man who's going to beat you” replied Raylon.

As their battle truly begins, the rest of the participants begin their battles as well. With one person eliminated, 20 warriors remain.
